Chapter 735 Hua Sect

The disciple sneered, unmoved: "Hmph, important matters? You think we'll let you leave just because of a few words? Dream on!"

Seeing this, Zhao Yuwei stepped forward and said firmly, "We do have urgent business and must go to Huayun Sect immediately. If this matter is delayed, you cannot bear the responsibility!"

"Hua Yun Sect?" Just as the two sides were locked in a stalemate, a slightly mocking voice came from the crowd.

A young man dressed in Huayun Sect attire walked out slowly. He was handsome, but his brows carried an air of arrogance.

He glanced coldly at Xiao Feng and Zhao Yuwei, and said indifferently, "I am Gan Feng, a disciple of the Huayun Sect. You can talk to me about whatever you want."

Xiao Feng's gaze fell on Gan Feng, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

He knew that the young man in front of him was no pushover.

"This message is of great importance, and I must personally tell the head of your Huayun Sect!" Xiao Feng said coldly.

Upon hearing this, Gan Feng's lips curled into a cold smile, his eyes filled with disdain: "Sect Leader? Who do you think you are? Our Sect Leader is not someone that just anyone can meet! Moreover, you two are mysterious individuals who have trespassed into the Wushan Seal. Who knows what your intentions are?"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Yuwei frowned, and a surge of anger welled up inside her.

She didn't want to get entangled with these people, but Gan Feng's words made her unable to tolerate it any longer.

She stepped forward, staring directly at Gan Feng, her tone laced with sarcasm: "Oh, so you've cultivated to become an immortal, but instead you've learned to look down on people like a dog? Could it be that you're not cultivating the path of immortality, but the path of dogs?"

"You!" Gan Feng's face turned ashen from Zhao Yuwei's words, and a murderous glint flashed in his eyes.

He suddenly waved his hand and shouted sharply, "Men! Seize these two arrogant fools!"

Upon hearing this, the Huayun Sect disciples around immediately drew their swords and stepped forward, their blades pointing directly at Xiao Feng and Zhao Yuwei.

Seeing this, Xiao Feng's eyes flashed with a cold light, and he thought to himself, "Perfect, let's test the immortal power that those three immortals passed on to me!"

He took a deep breath, and the immortal power within his body surged instantly, like a torrent rushing through his meridians.

"Since you're courting death, don't blame me for being impolite!" Xiao Feng shouted, and with a sudden wave of his hands, the immortal power within his body erupted like a tidal wave.

In an instant, an invisible force swept around, and the Huayun Sect disciples who rushed up were sent flying by this force before they could even get close, crashing heavily to the ground with cries of pain.

Upon seeing this, Gan Feng's pupils suddenly contracted, and his face was filled with shock.

He stared intently at Xiao Feng, his voice trembling slightly: "You... how do you possess the immortal power of our Huayun Sect's Fifth Elder? What did you do to him?"

Xiao Feng frowned slightly, feeling somewhat helpless.

He wanted to explain, but seeing Gan Feng's aggressive demeanor, he knew it would be a waste of breath to say anything.

He sneered, too lazy to waste any more words, and simply raised his hand and waved it. A surge of immortal power transformed into ropes, instantly binding Gan Feng tightly.

"Xiao Feng, stop wasting time talking to him. Tie him up first, then we'll head straight to Hua Yun Sect!" Zhao Yuwei urged from the side, a hint of impatience flashing in her eyes.

Xiao Feng nodded, preparing to leave with Gan Feng, when he saw that Gan Feng, even after being tied up, was still relentless, cursing, "You two bastards, how dare you lay a hand on me! When I return to Huayun Sect, I will make you wish you were dead!"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Yuwei's eyes flashed with cold light. She quickly stepped forward and slapped Gan Feng twice across the face.

"Slap! Slap!" The crisp sound of slaps echoed in the air, and Gan Feng's cheeks immediately became red and swollen, with a trace of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

"Watch your mouth, or next time it won't be as simple as a slap!" Zhao Yuwei said coldly, her tone carrying an undeniable authority.

Gan Feng was stunned by the two slaps and didn't dare to speak for a moment.

He stared intently at Zhao Yuwei, his eyes filled with resentment but he dared not be presumptuous any longer.

Seeing this, Xiao Feng shook his head inwardly, then said to Zhao Yuwei, "Let's go, let's hurry up and not delay our business."

However, the disciples of the surrounding immortal sects did not seem to intend to let Zhao Yuwei and Xiao Feng leave.

The leading disciple sneered, "You audacious madman, how dare you kidnap a disciple of my Huayun Sect! Release him at once!"

Zhao Yuwei snorted coldly, and with a flash of her dagger, she placed it directly against Gan Feng's neck.

"If any of you dare to cause trouble, I'll slit his throat first!"

Gan Feng trembled with fear as the cold blade pressed against his neck.

He shook his head frantically, signaling to his disciples not to act rashly.

"Release my senior brother at once! Don't think you can run wild in Wushan!"

"Yes, if you know what's good for you, release them right now, or you'll regret it!"

Despite the threats from the crowd, Zhao Yuwei remained calm. She unhurriedly drew a sharp knife from her waist and held it to Gan Feng's neck with a "whoosh".

The blade gleamed coldly, making Gan Feng's face appear even more grim.

“All of you, keep your mouths shut! Tell him to keep his junior brothers in line, or he’ll lose his head.” Zhao Yuwei’s voice was icy.

Gan Feng was terrified of death. Feeling the chill on his neck, he trembled and hurriedly scolded his junior brothers not to act rashly: "Don't be impulsive! Do you want to watch me die? You should know that my life is in their hands!"

These disciples, fearing the consequences, could only grit their teeth and glare hatefully at Xiao Feng and Zhao Yuwei, ceasing their shouting.

Zhao Yuwei nodded in satisfaction and said coldly to Gan Feng, "Lead us to Huayun Sect. Don't try anything funny, or you know the consequences."

Gan Feng inwardly groaned, knowing he had no other choice but to take Xiao Feng and Zhao Yuwei to the Hua Yun Sect.

The Huayun Sect is located in the First Heaven. Its mountain gate is magnificent and shrouded in clouds and mist, resembling a fairyland.

In the square in front of the mountain gate, hundreds of disciples were practicing magic. Swords flashed and incantations rang out, creating a spectacular scene.

At the summit of Huayun Sect, a massive bell hangs amidst the clouds, its body emitting a faint glow, appearing exquisitely beautiful.

Xiao Feng and Zhao Yuwei were taken to the Radiant Hall, a place used by the Huayun Sect to entertain guests.

The interior of the hall was ornately decorated, with various ritual implements hanging all around, giving it a solemn and dignified appearance.

Upon entering the Hall of Radiance, Zhao Yuwei released Gan Feng, only to discover a sinister glint in his eyes.

He pointed at Zhao Yuwei and Xiao Feng and shouted, "They trespassed and kidnapped me! Arrest them immediately!"

Upon hearing this, the disciples immediately drew their longswords and surrounded Zhao Yuwei and Xiao Feng.

Zhao Yuwei sneered: "Gan Feng, you really are a despicable person. You were scared to death just now, but now you have the guts?"

Gan Feng's expression changed, but he quickly regained his composure and sneered, "You trespassed into the mountain gate and dare to threaten me. You won't leave here alive today!"

Zhao Yuwei crossed her arms, a flash of anger in her eyes, and stared coldly at Gan Feng: "You, you little brat, you know we came to the Immortal Sect for business, yet you still falsely accuse us of trespassing!"

Seeing this, Gan Feng's lips curled into a smug smile, and a hint of ruthlessness flashed in his eyes: "You've already offended the Hua Yun Sect by arresting me, and now you're spouting nonsense on our Hua Yun Sect's territory. Junior brothers, arrest me and lock me up in the forbidden room!"

He waved his hand, signaling the disciples around him to take action, his face full of confidence.

Upon hearing this, the disciples immediately drew their longswords, their blades flashing, and approached Xiao Feng and Zhao Yuwei.

Just as tensions were about to rise, a deep, steady voice suddenly rang out: "Stop!" The voice wasn't loud, but it carried an undeniable authority that instantly stopped everyone in their tracks.

Everyone turned around and saw an old man with a Taoist-like demeanor, holding a whisk, slowly walking in from outside the hall.

The old man, dressed in a white robe with white hair and beard, had piercing eyes. After scanning the area, his gaze settled steadily on Gan Feng, and he said coldly, "Gan Feng, what are you doing now?"

Gan Feng's expression changed, a hint of panic flashing in his eyes. He whispered, "Fifth Elder, they... they trespassed through the mountain gate and kidnapped me..."

The old man snorted coldly, flicked his whisk, and said in a reprimanding tone, "Shut up! I already know what happened, how dare you still talk about it?"

Gan Feng was speechless for a moment, lowered his head and dared not speak again, but a trace of unwillingness flashed in his eyes.

The old man turned to Zhao Yuwei and Xiao Feng, nodded slightly, and softened his tone: "You two have come from afar, you must be tired. I am the Ninth Elder of the Huayun Sect, may I ask what brings you here?"

Upon seeing this, Xiao Feng immediately stepped forward, cupped his hands in a respectful bow, and said in a respectful tone, "Fifth Elder, we have come to deliver a message."

The old man nodded, his eyes showing a hint of approval: "In that case, please follow me."

He turned and gestured for the two to follow, then led them away from the Hall of Radiant Light.
