"It's your decision," Qiu Yan readily agreed.
Since her younger brother was jealous, she should take care of his feelings.
Perhaps he can make more friends.
Qiu Xu smiled and protected her sister at all times, preventing Gao Chong from getting close.
He was afraid that Gao Chong would rely on his sister.
Gao Chong was forced to distance himself from Qiu Yan.
He glanced at Qiu Yan, then approached Qiu Xu and said, "Qiu Xu, I've already told you, let's make up."
Qiu Xu looked at Gao Chong indifferently, "When have we ever been on good terms?"
It was that same line from yesterday again; he didn't like hearing it.
Gao Chong stayed away, silently wiping the medicine cabinet.
Qiu Yan: "Ah Xu, since you want to learn medicine from your sister, take some time to read more medical books."
"Okay, sister, I understand." Qiu Xu said with a smile, not forgetting to glance at Gao Chong.
Although his expression remained unchanged, Qiu Yan saw determination and pride in his eyes.
Upon hearing Qiu Yan's words, Zhou Zifang glanced provocatively at Gao Chong, stood beside Qiu Xu, and said mischievously, "Qiu Yan, count me in."
Qiu Yan laughed and replied, "Okay, but it's agreed that there's no pay." Why is Zhou Zifang getting involved in this?
"If you don't have it, you don't have it." Zhou Zifang waved his hand, not caring at all.
Qiu Dayu had no impression of Gao Chong and ignored him, pulling Lin Shu and Qin Wu by the door to start wiping the exterior doors and windows of the shop.
Lu Jia and the others were instructed by him to wipe the stair steps.
While wiping, Qiu Dayu asked Lin Shu, "Lin Shu, why didn't Boss Zhou come with you?"
Despite asking that question, Qiu Dayu didn't want to see him come.
Last year, he offended Zhou Shao quite a bit because of Zhou Zifang.
"Maybe it'll be here soon." Lin Shu shrugged, glancing helplessly into the shop.
“Our boss, Mr. Zhou, never intended for his son to come here. In fact, he even locked him up.”
Zhou Zifang had finally managed to get home, and Zhou Shao naturally wouldn't let this opportunity pass.
Sure enough, no sooner had Zhou Zifang returned home than Zhou Shao found Shangjin Academy for him.
Qiu Dayu asked, puzzled, "Then why are you here?"
Qin Wu said in a low voice, "It shouldn't be too difficult." They came overnight.
Shangjin City is quite far from Baiyang. They set off on the first day of the Lunar New Year and traveled day and night without stopping, arriving just in time for the evening of the fifteenth.
Fortunately, they arrived in time; otherwise, their young master would have been punished by the teacher.
I wonder how angry Mr. Zhou must be.
Qiu Dayu glanced silently at Zhou Zifang, who was chatting and laughing with Qiu Xu, then lowered his head and continued wiping the doors and windows.
During the busy period at the pharmacy, Madam Ding brought a traveling doctor who looked to be in his early twenties to the shop.
Also accompanying them was the young lady, Zhang Yuyan.
When Qiu Yan saw Madam Ding enter, she quickly stopped what she was doing and went forward to exchange pleasantries.
"Madam Ding, you've arrived."
"Qiu Yan, are you opening a pharmacy?" Zhang Yuyan stepped forward, trying to make her presence known, but only received a polite nod from Qiu Yan.
She pouted, stepped aside, and began to examine the pharmacy.
"Qiu Yan, I've brought you the medicine merchant you were looking for last time," Madam Ding said with a smile, glancing at the itinerant doctor behind her.
The itinerant doctor felt embarrassed when he realized that everyone in the shop was looking at him.
He was hardly a medicine merchant; he only had a slight understanding of medical principles and had sold herbs a few times.
He only heard Mrs. Ding tell him that her friend wanted to open a pharmacy and needed to buy medicinal herbs.
But he didn't expect that Mrs. Ding's friend was so young.
