Outside the Forget-Worries Hall, a large crowd of people, young and old, had gathered.
They stared at the female corpse on the ground, discussing it amongst themselves.
Doctor Hu and Zhao San looked at the crowd outside the door and shook their heads.
Physician Hu complained, "Sigh, Lord Tang is really something, he just left the person there and then ignored them?"
Zhao San sighed, his face showing resentment: "Although Lord Tang is eager to save his son, doesn't he consider that if the mother is gone, can the child still be saved?"
Hu Ying had already passed away when Tang Yi arrived.
When Hu Langzhong was asked to treat the patient, he also told Tang Yi that the person was already dead.
If he was a corpse, why would he remain in the pharmacy?
He instructed Tang Yi to take the person back and make arrangements for the aftermath.
Remembering that Qiu Yan had once saved a stillborn baby, Tang Yi disregarded Zhao San and Doctor Hu's reactions, threw Hu Ying to the ground, and went to find Qiu Yan.
When Qiu Yan got closer, this was the scene she saw.
"Get out of the way!" Zheng Hong shouted sternly. When the surrounding people saw that it was the county magistrate, they all moved far away.
But driven by their love of gossip, they did not leave, but instead watched from a distance.
Tang Yi squeezed through the crowd, looked at Hu Ying whose face had turned pale, shook his head, and then quickly made way for Qiu Yan to step forward: "Qiu Yan, see if there's any hope for her?"
Qiu Yan crouched down, first checked for breath, then shook her head, "Dead."
Hu Lang thought to himself: "Lord Tang has a terrible memory. He just said that the person has already passed away."
Tang Yi, however, acted as if he hadn't heard that and said to himself, "I've heard that you can bring the dead back to life and heal the wounded. Save her."
His two previous children both died because of him.
Firstly, because a woman from a brothel became attached to him, she caused the death of Jiang Liu's unborn child.
Secondly, Jiang Liu suffered a miscarriage because of him.
He didn't want this third child to die because of him.
This is also one of the reasons why Jiang Liu insisted on separating from Tang Yi.
Tang Yi's eyes pleaded, but Qiu Yan was powerless to help.
