The woman felt dizzy and fell heavily back onto the bed as soon as she got up.
"Where am I? Why am I here? Who are you? Why are we sleeping together?"
Her mind was foggy, filled with doubts, yet she was also confused.
Could this man be her husband?
"Do you even need to ask me that?"
After Ling Qi finished speaking, he quickly got up, ignoring the woman's reaction, dressed, and went to open the door.
At the doorway, Ling Ba glanced at the room briefly before quickly looking away, refusing to go inside.
He said in a low voice, "Ling Qi, how dare you want a woman like that?"
Ling Qi replied softly, "What's there to be afraid of? I'll just take her. Does she think she can get revenge?"
Ling Ba didn't want to talk and went straight down to the second floor, where he ran into Qiu Yan.
When Qiu Yan saw Ling Ba, her first question was: "Is he still alive?"
Ling Ba nodded, "He's still alive, but... he was... ruined by Ling Qi."
"This Ling Qi." Qiu Yan was speechless.
"Xiaoyan, you're here." Ling Qi's voice became clear, and she was full of energy.
Qiu Yan gave a soft "hmm," pushed open the door, and walked towards the woman.
The woman on the bed was completely wrapped in the blankets.
She became wary when she saw Qiu Yan.
Seeing the woman's cheeks flushed, Ling Qi stepped forward and touched her forehead.
My palm was burning hot.
This is really troublesome.
"Xiaoyan, she caught a cold."
"Who are you?" The woman's vigilance intensified again. Although her voice was weak, her gaze was sharp.
Qiu Yan: "And who are you?"
They were about to kill her, yet they still asked who she was.
"Who am I?" the woman asked again, her mind blank.
Ling Qi sneered, "What are you pretending for? Weren't you looking fierce yesterday? What, are you scared and trying to fool people? Let me tell you, no one in the world has ever been born who can fool me, Ling Qi."
"What do you mean by that?" The woman stared at Ling Qi with a sharp look, her expression as cold and arrogant as before, but her words were ambiguous.
Qiu Yan stepped forward and asked, "Do you remember what happened yesterday?"
The woman shook her head. "What happened?"
Suddenly feeling a sharp pain in her abdomen, she took a deep breath and weakly asked, "Who, who hurt me?"
Qiu Yan: "Yesterday, you encountered an assassin."
"Who is the assassin? Who hurt me? I want revenge!"
Ling Qi then realized that the woman had injured her brain because of his fall yesterday.
He looked at the woman: "Do you know who I am?"
The woman shook her head at first, then thought for a moment and said, "Husband."
Ling Qi was taken aback. "Don't talk nonsense. I wouldn't even look at you." This woman is really stupid.
Qiu Yan was slightly taken aback. If this woman had lost her memory, what use would she be?
Keep it there to lure the snake out of its hole.
The woman clenched her fists, glaring angrily at Ling Qi, "If he's not my husband, then we...we..."
"What, you still want to cling to me? I don't even want you." Ling Qi turned his head away arrogantly; he was just looking for something new.
The woman's face turned pale. Enraged, she shouted a few times, grabbed a pillow from the bed, and hurled it at Ling Qi.
Ling Qi dodged, but the pillow was thrown onto the table, knocking over a teacup.
This humiliation filled the woman with unquenchable anger. She wrapped herself in the blanket, got out of bed, and was about to confront Ling Qi.
But Ling Qi pressed her back onto the bed.
"Xiaoyan, this woman..."
Qiu Yan: "Haven't I already become yours?"
