"You two can sit and rest in this guest room for a while. I'll go and get back to my work."
After Grandma Zhou finished speaking, she brought the two of them a pot of hot tea and then went off to do her work.
After everyone left, Qiu Dayu carefully examined the Zhou family's courtyard through the window.
One word: Big.
The houses, with two entrances and two exits, are built in a neat and orderly fashion, and are at least as big as five Qiu family courtyards.

Because of Granny Zhou's questioning gaze, Qiu Dayu suddenly had the illusion that he was being treated as a thief.
He grew impatient and asked the old woman again.
"Mother-in-law, when exactly will your employer come home?"
"I can't really say either." The more Granny Zhou looked at Qiu Dayu, the stranger he seemed.

As Qiu Dayu waited anxiously, the courtyard gate finally creaked open from the outside.
The Zhou family of three finally made an appearance.
Zhou's father entered first, followed by his wife and son, Zhou Bin.
Upon seeing Qiu Dayu and his companion from afar, all three were somewhat puzzled.
Zhou's father stepped forward and asked the two, "Who are you...?"
When Qiu Dayu looked at Zhou's father, his expression became more serious.

He took a good look at Zhou Bin. This man was dressed in a blue robe and had a refined and gentle appearance. He was easy on the eyes.
No wonder Wang was willing to marry her daughter to the Zhou family.

Zhou's mother didn't ask any more questions and went back to her room with her son.
Qiu Dayu watched Zhou Bin's figure recede into the distance. He wanted to go up and strike up a conversation, but Zhou's father politely invited him back into the guest room.
Inside the guest room, Qiu Dayu began to deal with the situation:
"As you know, since we added hot pot to Xingyuelou last year, we need a lot of vegetables every day... Throughout the winter, the original vegetable farmers couldn't supply enough vegetables. A friend introduced us to your fields, saying that the vegetables were growing well, so we came to take a look."
As they talked, what started as a perfunctory conversation turned into a lively discussion.
Qiu Dayu seemed to have almost forgotten why he came here today.
