Qiu Xu shook his aching wrist.
This blacksmith, even though his back hurts so much he can't move, can still exert so much force.
He got up and sat down to the side.
Qiu Yan took another step forward, her right hand about to touch the blacksmith's waist, when she was met with his strong resistance, "Don't touch me!"
"Uncle, you can't just lie there forever, you can't move."
"I...I can't move." The blacksmith was in too much pain to speak. What had he done to deserve this?
It's all the fault of those awful kids.
Zhao San was at a loss and placed all his hopes on Qiu Yan.
After all, he didn't know anything about medicine.
Despite the blacksmith's defiant gaze, Qiu Yan still stepped forward.
"I'll be gentle," Qiu Yan said softly to the blacksmith, trying to keep her tone gentle.
"Are you really good at diagnosis?" He didn't trust Qiu Yan.
Before Qiu Yan could speak, Gao Chongxian said, "Sister Qiu is a peerless divine physician."
The blacksmith shook his head after hearing this, still having doubts.
Through observation, Qiu Yan initially thought that the blacksmith had an acute lumbar muscle injury.
But seeing the blacksmith's reclining position, she dismissed her guess.
Qiu Yan squatted down beside the blacksmith.
"Girl..." Those who haven't experienced pain won't understand the blacksmith's feelings at this moment. "Don't move!"
Qiu Yan found a convenient spot.
She did not move the blacksmith's body as he lay on his side, but gently swayed his upper leg, making him bend at the knee and hip, and slowly straightened his lower leg.
Then she placed her elbows on the blacksmith's shoulders and iliac crests, respectively.
Cold sweat streamed down the blacksmith's forehead. "What are you trying to do?"
"I'll treat your back." Qiu Yan said succinctly.
Facing the blacksmith's fearful gaze, she softened her tone again. "Don't worry, it won't hurt."
The blacksmith gave Zhao San a displeased look, "You'd better find another doctor for me..."
Before he could finish saying "doctor," Qiu Yan simultaneously exerted force with both elbows, pushing her shoulders forward and her pelvis backward.
Immediately afterwards, a crisp snap was heard, and sweat beaded even more on the blacksmith's forehead. "Ouch...girl, you...stop!"
Driven by her eagerness to save him, Qiu Yan quickly went to the other side of the blacksmith, turned his body over, and repeated the previous action.
After another crisp sound, the blacksmith's body went limp.
"How are you feeling? Any better?" Qiu Yan asked.
"Okay..." The blacksmith rubbed his back, and miraculously, the pain subsided considerably.
He slowly stood up. "Much better."
Everyone around him breathed a sigh of relief when they saw him stand up.
Zhao San had only heard from others that Qiu Yan was skilled in medicine, and today, he witnessed her medical skills for the first time, which amazed him.
"It doesn't hurt as much anymore, girl, you're really amazing." The blacksmith seemed to have forgotten his earlier suspicions about Qiu Yan.
What's wrong with my back?
"dislocation."
The blacksmith had only taken a few steps back and forth when he stopped in his tracks because of a sentence from Qiu Yan.
"Don't move."
"What's wrong?"
“Your back is injured, you should rest in bed,” Qiu Yan said, then looked at his hammer. “Don’t do farm work for now.”
"How can this be? If I don't work, what will my family eat?" the blacksmith exclaimed anxiously.
After saying that, he turned his gaze to Qiu Xu. "It's all because of you spoiled brats!"
Qiu Xu lowered his head. "Uncle, please don't be angry. I'll stay and help."
Zhou Zifang shook his head. Qiu Xu had not participated in the game and had even reminded them not to play there.
He should not be implicated.
He looked at Gao Chong and said, "Uncle, this kid lives nearby. Why don't you ask him for help?"
"No way!" Gao Chong immediately refused upon hearing this.
Zhou Zifang raised an eyebrow and looked at Gao Chong: "You were the one who kicked that ball just now, so you should have helped."
