Du Changjun's face turned ashen, and he ground his back teeth fiercely.

He was met with a cold shoulder, and then Gu Qian threatened him, forbidding him from getting any closer to Qiu Yan. He was so angry that his face turned red and his neck bulged.
Gu Qian turned back, and Qiu Yan found it somewhat amusing: "Aren't you tired?"
He didn't look like he'd been traveling all day at all.
"It's better to stay further away, in case he comes back."
After they finished speaking, the two were finally able to have their meal.
Qiu Xu and Qiu Ling'er went about their own business, and Gu Xiaoran was taken by Zhu Juan to walk the dog.
Only Qiu Yan and Gu Qian remained at the dining table.
They started by sitting opposite each other.
Gu Qian glanced out the window, got up, moved the plates, and moved closer to Qiu Yan, sitting down in the chair next to her with a smile in his eyes.
"Yan Yan, you've fattened up Xiao Ran quite a bit, but you yourself are always so thin. You must eat properly from now on."
He used wooden chopsticks to place the shredded meat from the plate onto the dish in front of her.
"Are you thin?" Qiu Yan looked down at her body; she had gained a lot of weight since she first arrived.

Seeing Qiu Yan's emotional face, Gu Qian's eyes lit up with joy.
I really want to marry her as soon as possible.
