Chapter 984: See a doctor (for the reward from the book friend "Hua Xu Can Meng Shang...")
When Manbao ran out of the Second Hospital with a basket on his back, Bai Shan was already waiting in the carriage.
Manbao supported herself on the shaft and jumped up, handing the backpack to Bai Shan to take in. Panting, she sat down opposite Bai Shan and saw that he was holding a book in his hand, so she asked, "Aren't you going back to get something?"
"for example?"
"Money and stuff."
"Daji has some on him. If you want to buy something, you can borrow it from Daji first."
Manbao: "I brought money."
Daji had already driven the car out under their gossip and took the guys from Jishidiang to Jishidiang.
Manbao curiously lifted the carriage curtain and spoke to the driver on the shaft, "Is it really Yin Huo who came to see me for medical treatment?"
The clerk, who was quite familiar with Manbao, leaned over and said, "Yes, our shopkeeper was shocked. He asked Young Master Yin to wait in the back hall. When he saw that Doctor Zhou was not there, he wanted to leave. It was the head shopkeeper who kept him here and asked me to come and ask Doctor Zhou to go back."
Manbao was happy, and Bai Shan asked, "Did he come alone, or with someone?"
"He only brought a servant with him." The waiter smiled at this. "This is rare, because Master Yin usually takes a bunch of servants with him when he goes out, for fear of being bullied. People outside are afraid to run into him when they see so many people around him."
Bai Shan and Man Bao looked at each other and didn't ask any more questions.
When they arrived at Jishidiang, Manbao jumped off the carriage and ran inside first, fearing that the patient he had worked so hard to find would run away again.
Bai Shan slowly got off the car with a backpack, put the books in his hand into the backpack, and then carried it into Jishidiang.
Yin Huo was already getting restless. He drank half a cup of tea and found that Manbao had not arrived yet, so he stood up and was about to leave.
Manager Zheng tried to keep him, but Yin Huo didn't want to stay any longer. He didn't say anything, just nodded to Manager Zheng and was about to leave.
Manbao came bounding in from outside. Seeing Yin Huo, his eyes lit up and he asked breathlessly, "Are you here to see a doctor?"
Yin Huo wanted to say no, but Man Bao had already stepped aside and said, "My clinic is outside. Come with me."
After saying that, he turned around and walked out.
Yin Huo paused and could only raise his feet to follow.
Manbao explained as he walked, "Today is the first day of the lunar month. I have two days off every ten days, the same as your Imperial College. But I've already told the head shopkeeper that you're my patient. If you come, please send someone to call me. My house is very close to here..."
Yin Huo glanced at her and felt that she was as talkative as his sisters, but she felt completely different from them.
Bai Shan was already waiting in the clinic with a backpack. He was taking out things one by one and arranging them. When he saw Yin Huo come in, he nodded.
Yin Huo's servant and Daji were guarding outside the clinic together. The two servants looked at each other and were not very friendly to each other.
But inside the house, the scene was completely different. Manbao lit the stove to boil water and asked Yin Huo, "Would you like some tea?"
Before Yin Huo could even open his mouth to speak, she said, "I don't really like drinking tea, and neither does Bai Shan. We all drink plain water. You're sick and need to take medicine, so it's best not to drink tea."
After saying this, Manbao still asked, "Would you like some tea?"
Yin Huo looked up at her and said, "Didn't you say I'd better not drink tea?"
"Yeah, but what if you like it?"
Yin Huo tilted his head and asked, "If I like it, it's okay if it's bad for my health?"
Manbao hesitated for a moment and said, "It depends. In fact, some teas don't have a big effect on medicine. If you really want to drink it, I can make it for you."
Yin Huo said, "Then make me a cup of tea."
Manbao agreed and went out to find tea for him, leaving Baishan and Yinhuo sitting together.
At a diagnosis table, Yin Huo and Manbao were sitting opposite each other, while Bai Shan pulled a small stool and sat next to them. As soon as Manbao left, the two of them looked up and their eyes met.
Bai Shan said: "I thought you wouldn't come."
Yin Huo lowered his eyes and said nothing.
Bai Shan turned to the stove and took out some of the charcoal that was stuffed inside to make the fire burn a little more vigorously. Yin Huo followed his movements and saw him gently fiddling with the charcoal. He couldn't help but relax a little.
Bai Shan lit the fire in the stove, then turned slightly to look at Yin Huo and asked, "Yin Huo, do you have any friends?"
Yin Huo pursed his lips.
Bai Shan said, "Very few? I don't have many friends either, but there are one or two people I can confide in. Whenever I have something on my mind, I will talk to them."
Yin Huo asked, "Why are you telling me this?"
Bai Shan said: "I didn't have any ill will towards you at first. In my eyes, you were no different from other classmates. It was only the day before yesterday that I started to dislike you."
Yin Huo's mood was fluctuating. Bai Shan saw his chest rising and falling and his eyes starting to turn red, so she knew that he was excited. However, he was unaware of it and still had a cold face.
Bai Shan said, "Your sisters are too domineering. I've seen domineering people before, but this is the first time I've encountered a grudge over such a small matter. But after talking with you in the car the day before yesterday, I feel that this is not your fault, so I don't hate you anymore."
"But I've noticed that a lot of people in school don't seem to like you," Bai Shan said. "No one knows you're sick. No one knows you don't want to cry, you're just sick and your body doesn't allow you to have too many emotions. Do you want to carry these misunderstandings with you for the rest of your life?"
Yin Huo suddenly said loudly: "Life is not long."
Bai Shan looked down at him.
Yin Huo's eyes became even redder. He took two breaths, calmed down a little, and said, "Let them misunderstand me. I don't need friends."
"Then what are you doing here?"
Yin Huo's pale face suddenly turned even paler. He stood up and turned to leave, but Manbao came in with a paper bag and said, "I found a tea that smells good. It's light and refreshing, just right for you. Is the water boiling?"
The last sentence was asked to Bai Shan.
Bai Shan stretched out his hand and took a look and said, "It's almost done."
Manbao was satisfied. Seeing Yin Huo standing there with a pale face, he stuffed the tea leaves to Bai Shan and asked him to make tea. Then he looked at Yin Huo worriedly and said, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
Yin Huo glanced at Bai Shanhou and said, "No, I'm leaving."
"How can that be? I haven't even taken your pulse yet."
"Didn't you see it the day before yesterday?"
"But you refused to answer my question then. Besides, a person's pulse can change. Not to mention a day, even an hour can be different. So I have to take the pulse again."
Yin Huo looked at Manbao quietly, and after a while asked, "How old are you this year?"
Manbao was stunned for a moment and then said, "Fifteen."
Bai Shan almost choked on his own saliva. He stared at Manbao, knowing that she wanted to grow up quickly and liked to say her age in lunar years. Moreover, her birthday was young, so one lunar year could make her two years older. But no one else had jumped to thirteen and two years older before she turned thirteen like her.
Yin Huo also looked at her suspiciously, "You're fifteen? Only one year younger than me?"
Manbao perked up and asked, "Is this your age in Chinese or in English?"
"Actually old."
Manbao looked him up and down and said, "It seems that your health is really not good."
He is actually sixteen years old, and looks about the same age as Bai Shan. In fact, because he is so thin, for a moment Manbao thinks he is even younger than Bai Shan.
Good night
