He pondered for a long time, and when it was dark, he called Bai Ling. Bai Ling's cold, demanding voice reached him, demanding, "What's going on?" "Bai Ling, do you really have to make me make a choice?" he asked, his voice trembling. God only knew how tormented he felt at that moment. Bai Ling nodded, affirming, "Yes, I must make a choice." After a pause, and before Ning Haotian could reply, Bai Ling's voice rose. "I'm telling you, it's over, it's over. We'll never see each other again." Her words were heartless. She hung up the phone heavily, leaving Ning Haotian's ears ringing with a beep. He wasn't a coward; he simply didn't want to ruin everything for Bai Ling. If this continued, if it was a mistake, he felt it was best to correct it as soon as possible. He felt that only this would bring better things to Bai Ling. So, he chose to give up, but God knows, giving up is not such an easy thing for him. At this moment, he curled up in the corner, feeling very heavy. Ruonan turned on the TV during breakfast. She wanted to see the latest news. She was about to eat a piece of bread, but she couldn't swallow it when she held it in her hand.
