Yan Xia jumped down from the tree and swaggered over to the grizzly bear.
She measured her height, but she couldn't even compare to a grizzly bear that crawls on all fours.
Not to mention it stood up.
"roar--"
The grizzly bear barked at her twice.
"You stink! You've never brushed your teeth in your life! Your mouth stinks more than my chamber pot!"
Yan Xia covered her mouth and nose in disgust.
The grizzly bear rolled its eyes upwards.
Just like being able to understand human speech.
"Since you've eaten human flesh, I can't let you live."
Yan Xia picked up the machete from the ground, her expression turning serious. Grizzly bears have amazing genes; once they've tried something and found it edible, their descendants will consider it food.
Therefore, the grizzly bear in front of us has eaten people.
Its kind, as well as its children and even generations of descendants, all eat people.
Then the high mountains would be even more dangerous.
She couldn't let anything happen to the flower growers.
"Roar—"
The grizzly bear roared at her, but it didn't scare her away.
Yan Xia picked at her ear.
"It's so noisy."
Before the grizzly bear could react, she picked up a machete and chopped at its head. If she hit it, it would surely shatter. Yan Xia was confident in her strength. Fortunately, the grizzly bear was on all fours.
She couldn't reach it even when she was standing.
This grizzly bear was smarter than the last one. As soon as Yan Xia's machete struck, it quickly moved its head away, and the machete missed its target.
Yan Xia then delivered another stab.
This time it hit the grizzly's shoulder.
I only used half my strength, but my skin and flesh were broken and bleeding profusely.
The grizzly bear howled in pain.
Yan Xia took advantage of its injury to kill it.
He used all his strength to slash at its belly.
The grizzly bear is angry.
It dodged away, hot air escaping from its nostrils.
He lunged at Yan Xia.
Yan Xia kicked it away, and the grizzly bear, weighing over a thousand pounds, was sent flying ten meters away.
It lay on the ground for more than ten seconds before slowly getting up.
The grizzly bear was dumbfounded.
What kind of human is this? So small, yet so powerful.
It still had injuries on its shoulder, and its internal organs seemed to have been displaced, causing it great pain.
The grizzly bear, not wanting to fight, prepared to flee in the opposite direction.
Although Yan Xia is strong, she is not fast.
We absolutely cannot let this grizzly bear go today. Bears hold grudges the most, and if we don't kill it, it might come down from the mountain any day.
Then they'll wreak havoc on the villagers and that'll be the end of them.
Fortunately, it had just rained lightly, and the mud was still soft and wet. Yan Xia followed the footprints to find her way back. The bear was running, and the person was chasing it—a scene that was rarely seen in a century.
The grizzly bear never imagined that humans would be chasing it.
It returned to its cave and rested inside, looking just like a human lounging on a sofa.
The grizzly bear's wound had stopped bleeding, but the pain still made it somewhat irritable.
It touched the wound with its clumsy paws.
"roar--"
It screamed in pain.
Just then, the sound reached Yan Xia's ears. In front of her was a small hill, a hill within a hill.
The hills are all made of stone, and their shapes are varied due to years of rain washing them.
Yan Xia climbed up using both her hands and feet.
There was a cave right in front of us, and the grizzly bears inside were making panting noises.
She gripped the machete tightly and tiptoed over.
"Oh, so you've been hiding here."
Yan Xia stood at the cave entrance and mocked the grizzly bear.
The grizzly bear was dumbfounded; it never expected that this tiny human would dare to track it.
They even followed it to its lair.
"Roar—"
The grizzly bear's roar did nothing to intimidate Yan Xia.
She walked in step by step.
The grizzly bear was at a loss, standing there not knowing what to do.
It's no match for the tiny human in front of it.
Run!
The grizzly bear crouched down, its four paws on the ground, and charged towards the outside of the cave.
Just as he was about to reach Yan Xia, she kicked him away again, sending him crashing hard into the stone wall of the cave.
Blood trickled from the corner of the grizzly bear's mouth.
"Awooo—"
"Waaah—"
It groaned in pain.
Yan Xia did not let it go, and walked up to the grizzly bear with a machete.
Tears welled up in the grizzly bear's eyes, whether from fear or pain, it was hard to tell. It tried to stand up, but its legs gave way.
"Boom—"
It just knelt down straight down, its two paws together, moving them up and down.
It seems to be begging for mercy.
They seem very human.
Yan Xia found it somewhat strange and moved the machete she was about to use to chop off the grizzly bear's head.
"You don't want to die?"
Yan Xia asked.
"Waaah—"
The grizzly bear nodded repeatedly.
"Then why did you eat people? If you have eaten people, I will not let you go, lest you harm the villagers down the mountain."
"Waaah—"
Grizzly Bear shook his head again.
It can't speak, and it's extremely anxious.
Fearing that Yan Xia would kill it, the grizzly bear even tried to lower its head, imitating the way humans kowtow, with its head touching the ground.
Its clumsy body prevented it from performing this pose.
The grizzly bear cried in desperation.
"Fine, I'll spare your life. But next time, don't go to the outskirts of the mountains. If I see you trying to confuse people in the fog again, I'll kill you! Remember, you only have this one chance! If you've eaten a good person today, I will never let you go."
Yan Xia spoke fiercely, and the grizzly bear nodded tremblingly. Yan Xia seemed to feel that her threat was not enough, so she punched the stone wall of the cave with her fist, and the whole cave shook as if an earthquake had occurred.
The grizzly bear was so scared it peed itself.
"Remember this: if I see you again, you're dead!"
