A burly man was about to push aside Lin Xiaomei, who was blocking the little boy's way, to snatch Xiaobai when his hand was only halfway out when he was grabbed from behind.
Before he could react, Lin Jiujiu had already kicked him hard in the arm with a high kick.
"Crack!"
The sound of bones cracking rang out, but before he could even feel the pain, he was already airborne, a perfect arc of red streaking across the sky, crashing heavily into someone who was about to attack Lin Luo.
Lin Luo's pupils dilated when he saw the fist that was so close, about to smash into his nose.
He thought his handsome, upturned nose was about to be smashed flat by a punch, but to his surprise, the man fell down in front of him in the blink of an eye.
Not only that, but there was also a man on her.
Just as Lin Luo realized who it was, two more shrill female voices rang out.
Lin Luo's immediate reaction was that something had happened to his mother and the others, and he was about to rush over there.
Only then did I realize that the sound seemed to be coming from behind me.
Lin Luo turned around and saw the two people who had been swaggering at the entrance of the restaurant were now covering their faces in pain, with beads of blood constantly sliding down their fingers.
It was obvious that he was seriously injured. Lin Luo cursed inwardly, "Serves him right for bullying me."
Just then, a red light flashed from that direction and quickly went up the outer wall to the second floor.
He jumped in through an open window on the second floor.
Immediately following was another scream from a woman, no weaker than the previous two.
Before Lin Luo could understand what was happening, he saw a red figure leap out from the second floor and rush towards him.
Then, using his shoulder for support, she rushed into the little boy's arms.
He then realized that the red figure he had just seen was none other than Xiaobai dressed in clothes.
Lin Luo subconsciously touched his face and, sure enough, felt a bead of blood.
Lin Luo was startled, but quickly realized that it wasn't his; it was probably something Xiao Bai had brushed against when it was using him for leverage.
He couldn't help but think to himself, "Wow, Little White is so powerful! If we had known, we would have just given Little White to those people and let it teach them a lesson on its own."
Their efforts to protect it actually hindered their own performance.
However, Lin Luo quickly stopped finding it strange. After all, the little boy had said that Xiao Bai used to hunt to support them, so it seemed that the little boy wasn't just making things up.
While Lin Luo was still in a daze, Lin Jiujiu had already finished dealing with the servants.
One by one, they lay on the ground with broken arms or legs.
At this moment, Lin's father and Lin Luo finally managed to squeeze out from the crowd of onlookers.
Both of them pulled their wives aside to check if they were alright.
At this moment, Lin Xiaomei seemed somewhat out of place.
Fortunately, after confirming that their wives were alright, the two finally turned their attention to her and the little boy, and after confirming that everyone was safe.
Only after Lin Yu received a punch to the corner of her mouth and suffered a minor injury did she feel relieved.
Seeing the people lying all over the ground made him feel a little troubled.
This is a case of assault in broad daylight, with so many people watching; it's unlikely to end easily.
Lin's father stepped forward and blocked Lin Jiujiu's way, saying, "Jiujiu, if the government officials come later, don't make a sound. I'll go with them and tell them that I'm the one who beat these people."
Upon hearing this, Lin Jiujiu looked at the person on the ground, and then at her father's not-so-robust body.
It's not that she's trying to discourage her father, but he couldn't possibly beat even one of them, let alone five or six.
After Lin's father started, Lin Ze, Lin Yu, and Lin Luo also stepped forward to express their opinions.
"Yes, we beat up these people, it has nothing to do with my sister."
They clearly understood that their father couldn't handle this alone, and the brothers planned to share the burden.
Lin Jiujiu felt a warmth in her heart and gently patted her two younger brothers' heads.
"What? Are you trying to steal my credit?"
These people are watching; the government officials will find out who did it with a simple question.
It's unlikely they could take the blame for her.
But Lin Jiujiu felt very grateful that they had such good intentions.
Having traversed so many lifetimes, this is the first time I've felt the warmth of family.
There was no conflict of interest, no scheming or backstabbing; I simply wanted to be good to her.
Mr. Lin didn't understand what she meant by "stealing credit," but seeing that Lin Jiujiu didn't take it to heart and seemed confident, he breathed a sigh of relief.
At this moment, Tantai Yueming and Baili Chenyuan calmly walked into the middle of the group.
Tantai Yueming waved his hand in response.
“They started the trouble first. Magistrate Zhang isn’t a muddle-headed official. This can’t be blamed on you.”
When Lin's father heard his words, he felt relieved, considering his father's identity.
With a wave of his hand, Baili Chenyuan brought over the young lady who had been directing the servants to attack the Lin family on the second floor of the restaurant, along with the remaining servants around her.
All of these people had some injuries on their faces, and the corners of the mouths of the one who had uttered those arrogant words were torn to the sides of his cheeks.
That appearance was particularly frightening.
Lin Jiujiu glanced back and saw the little guy who had already snuggled back into his arms, having wiped his sinful little paws clean.
She didn't say anything; the other person was just avenging her, what did it have to do with her?
Among those brought down was a girl dressed in luxurious clothes and adorned with jewels. The moment she saw Lin Jiujiu, her face was filled with resentment and malice.
