Chapter 86: Kiss, only kiss

Chapter 86: Kiss, only kiss

Obviously, this house is still under Gojo Satoru's name, but when he came here today, he felt a sense of strangeness.

The car drove smoothly into the garage under the apartment building. Gojo Satoru turned off the engine, unbuckled his seat belt, got out of the car first, walked around to the passenger seat, and opened the door for Gong Zhili.

Gong Zhili's outstretched hand was suspended in the air, and when she was about to retract it, he grabbed it, and then she was led out of the car by Gojo Satoru.

The moment their fingertips touched again, there seemed to be a tiny electric current running through their skin. Miya Chiri's eyes widened slightly, and her fingers couldn't help but shrink. However, Gojo Satoru firmly held her back and would not let her retreat.

The two walked into the elevator side by side, their breathing clearly audible in the cramped space. Gojo Satoru was incredibly tall, and even though Miya Chiri had grown considerably taller now, his presence was still very noticeable.

The scent on his body was refreshing, intertwined with the faint floral fragrance on Gong Zhili's body, lingering around the two of them.

Miya Chiri's body unconsciously tensed slightly. Gojo Satoru looked down at her, wanting to say something, then looked up at the jumping floor numbers.

In such a small and enclosed space, even if I could feel the slight force from her fingers, I probably wouldn't be able to say anything.

But his eyes would occasionally fall on her profile. For a brief moment, he saw her long eyelashes casting a small shadow under her eyes and her Adam's apple rolling silently.

It was understandable that he had these... slightly strange fantasies, wasn't it? After all, she was his girlfriend now, and he'd been in love with her for years. While it wasn't quite a "complete dream come true," his heart couldn't stop beating. He wanted to do something, like corner her in the elevator, or bend down to kiss her smooth forehead. But in reality, he just held her hand tighter.

With a "ding" sound, the elevator arrived. Gong Zhili used the access card to open the door. The sensor light in the entrance hall lit up and cast a warm yellow light.

Miya Chiri bent down to change her shoes, and Gojo Satoru followed suit, his gaze involuntarily following the small sliver of white neck that was revealed as she bent. The lines were smooth and graceful, a delicate sheen gleaming under the light. His breath hitched slightly, and a strange longing quietly grew in his heart, entwining itself like a vine. He forced himself to look away.

Gong Zhili stood up and walked into the living room: "Would you like something to drink? I haven't bought any desserts recently. Would you like some tea?"

"Water will be fine." Ice water is even better. Gojo Satoru answered in a slightly lower voice than usual. He sat down on the sofa, leaned his head back, but his eyes followed Miya Chiri in front of the counter.

Gong Zhili poured him ice water. When he took the cup, the cold wall of the cup instantly cooled his slightly hot fingertips. The ice water slid down his throat, calming the restlessness in his heart a little. Gong Zhili stood at the island counter drinking water. The two of them were silent for a while. The atmosphere was a little subtle, and the air seemed to become sticky.

Gong Zhili held the water cup and felt that this strange atmosphere was not an illusion. They could get along with each other calmly at ordinary times - this was the case for her, so why did she start to feel something was wrong today?

Because her heart was indeed not at peace, she began to care about the gaze of another person. She knew that her heart was not calm enough, so she felt that this quiet air was unbearable.

Gojo Satoru stood up, walked over and put the cup on the table with a crisp sound.

He took a step forward, and the distance between them suddenly shortened to less than half a meter. Gong Zhili tightened her grip on the cup slightly and looked up at him: "I actually don't like looking up at people."

Especially with such a tall person standing in front of her, the feeling of having to look up made her a little uncomfortable.

Gojo Satoru chuckled, "As expected, you don't like it. In the past, you would look at me like this whenever I got close to you."

He decisively sat down on the high chair next to the island counter and moved the chair closer to Gong Zhili - now even closer.

"That's reasonable," he said, his voice carrying a tension that he himself wasn't aware of.

"Hmm?" Gong Zhili responded without retreating, as if he was fixed in place.

"Were you serious about what you said before?" He looked into her eyes, which were so close to him. Her olive green eyes were as clear as if immersed in a cold pond, reflecting only his shadow.

Gong Zhili tilted his head slightly, thought about his question for a moment, and said, "Which sentence?"

Gojo Satoru laughed: "You should know what I'm asking." He moved a little closer, and their breathing almost completely blended. In this small space, if one person's breathing became heavier, the other might feel that his breathing was restricted.

They both slowed down their breathing at the same time.

Gong Zhili thought for a moment and said, "I do have a crush on you. You know that, don't you? I'm actually interested in you."

After receiving a positive answer, a strong impulse that had been suppressed for a long time instantly rushed to Gojo Satoru's head. At this moment, he was dominated by instinct and slowly shortened the last bit of distance between them.

Gong Zhili couldn't help but let her eyes fall on his rosy and beautifully shaped lips.

His movements were slow and tentative, as if giving her enough time to react... or reject him.

Gong Zhili didn't move. She watched the pleasing and handsome face enlarge before her eyes, and saw the undisguised desire and careful restraint surging in the depths of his pale blue pupils.

She could clearly feel his warm breath brushing against her cheek, with a numbing aggression.

Reason told her to retreat. She wasn't used to being so close to others. She felt her territory was about to be invaded...

But her body seemed to be nailed to the spot. A strange, slightly numb feeling of anticipation spread throughout her limbs, all the way to her heart, causing it to begin to contract irregularly.

Just before Gojo Satoru's lips were about to touch hers, Gong Zhili suddenly raised her hand, not to push him away, but to reach out to a strand of silver hair hanging in front of his forehead. Her fingertips gently brushed across his forehead, lifting the disobedient hair away.

Gojo Satoru's movements froze instantly, just millimeters away from her lips, but he just stopped there, not daring to move again.

Gong Zhili's fingertips slid down, gently touched his high nose bridge, and then slid to his lips, with her fingertips having a slightly cool touch.

Gojo Satoru only felt as if a feather had brushed past him, and the places she touched left a very vivid feeling.

"Your hair," Gong Zhili said, "is a bit of a hindrance."

"Is it in the way?" Gojo Satoru said softly, "Can we continue now?"

Gong Zhili raised his head slightly, and the last bit of distance between the two of them completely disappeared.

It was an extremely gentle kiss. No penetration, no plundering, just the purest touch and rubbing of lips against lips. Gojo Satoru's movements were clumsy and delicate, like touching a fragile object. His warm breath sprayed on her cheek, bringing a subtle tingle. Miya Chiri closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of his lips and the equally rapid and powerful heartbeat in his chest, which came through the thin fabric and gradually synchronized with her own heartbeat.

A strange, warm, electric feeling spread from her lips, causing her tense body to strangely relax.

So this is what kissing feels like.

Although Gong Zhili had never drunk any alcohol, he already felt a little dizzy.

The smell of Gojo Satoru...she was beginning to feel familiar with it.

The kiss didn't last long, perhaps only a dozen seconds, or perhaps even shorter. Gojo Satoru restrained himself and took the initiative to move away slightly, pressing his forehead against hers, and gently rubbing his nose against hers with a bit of attachment. His breathing was rapid, and a fire that had not yet completely extinguished burned in the depths of his pale blue eyes, but more of it was the great satisfaction of receiving a response and a tenderness that filled his entire heart.

He felt like he would do anything for her.

"Goodnight kiss." He whispered, his voice hoarse with passion, making Gong Zhili's ears hot and itchy.

She hummed softly and couldn't say anything.

The two of them snuggled quietly for a while, until each other's heartbeats and breathing gradually calmed down. Gojo Satoru then stood up reluctantly, but still holding her hand.

Gong Zhili's cheeks were slightly flushed at this moment, but she did not pull her hand back. This kiss not only brought her a novel contact, but also made her feel shy that she had never felt before.

She tried to gather her scattered thoughts, her voice softer than usual: "I'm going to take a shower first. Please go to the guest room and make the bed."

Usually when the guest room is not occupied, she puts the bedding into the closet.

"Hmm." Gojo Satoru agreed, but he didn't let go of her hand. His fingers unconsciously rubbed the back of her hand. He was immersed in the faint blush on Gong Zhili's face, which made him know that the kiss just now had an impact not only on him, but also on Zhili.

Gong Zhili simply took him to the second bedroom, let him sit on the edge of the bed, and turned away.

Gojo Satoru subconsciously wanted to hold her back, but after stretching out his hand, he suddenly remembered that he shouldn't be too impatient and scare her, so he just watched her figure disappear behind the door.

After Gong Zhili left, he fell on the mattress in a utterly ungraceful manner, letting out a long groan.

He raised his hand and looked at his fingertips, then touched his lips with them. It seemed as if he could still feel the soft and warm touch of her lips, as well as a hint of her unique fragrance.

Even though I wanted to hold her tightly and keep her in my room, the restlessness in my body not only didn't calm down, but instead intensified...

But he was very satisfied.

He got up from the bed and went into the bathroom.

Gong Zhili was washing up in the bathroom of the master bedroom. The warm water flowed over her skin. She looked at herself in the mirror. There seemed to be a layer of mist in her eyes, and her cheeks were slightly red. The water vapor showed a vivid color that was unfamiliar to herself.

She dried herself, changed into pajamas, and went to the living room to drink water. The room was very quiet, and she seemed to be able to faintly hear the sound of Gojo Satoru taking a shower. That sound made her realize that he was not an illusion in her dream, and the kiss just now really existed. This realization made the light feeling in her heart quietly float up again.

She returned to her room and lay on the bed, closing her eyes and relaxing her body, but her consciousness was extremely clear. Her mind couldn't help but replay the scene just now: his close breath, the touch of their foreheads, and that gentle, cherished kiss.

-----------------------

The author has something to say: I wrote about the first kiss in this chapter with great pleasure, and then when I looked back, there was only this kiss. I was so immersed in writing about the first kiss that I didn’t know what the world was anymore.
