Chapter 1233 The Returnee's Notes 307

Chapter 1233 The Returnee's Notes 307

Just as Xie Ning was turning the steering wheel, chaos erupted on the road, with one car crashing into another.

Da Linzi, who was behind, noticed something was wrong and immediately stopped his car. He also honked his horn to stop the cars next to him to prevent them from crashing into him one after another.

Wen Yuan quickly got out of the car and ran forward. She saw Xie Ning drive the car into the green belt on the side.

She was so shocked by what she saw that she almost lost her balance. Da Linzi broke out in a cold sweat. "Luckily, that girl was a good driver. If she had been even a little slower, she would have been hit by both cars and thrown into the air."

Caught in the middle, there's no way to escape.

One car was hit, then another; it felt like they were all targeting Xie Ning.

Wen Yuan was originally heading towards Xie Ning's direction with Da Linzi, but he stopped halfway there and turned around to run straight towards one of the cars that was stuck at the scene of the accident and had crashed into the guardrail.

The man in the car was still glad he had slowed down early, otherwise he would have been playing bumper cars like the others.

He hadn't expected this thing to be so powerful. Chen Qizhi told him to just put in two, but he accidentally opened a whole box.

Just as he unbuckled his seatbelt to check on Xie Ning, who had crashed into the green belt, a figure appeared outside the car. "Who are you?"

Wen Yuan gave a slight twitch of her lips. "Get out of the car."

Upon hearing this, the man was even less likely to get out of the car; he had a strong sense of danger.

"Who are you?"

Wen Yuan didn't want to waste any more words with him. She spotted a small gap in the open car window and flicked a small black thing inside.

The man was startled. The next moment, he felt a sharp pain in his wrist. He seemed to hear a very faint bell sound, followed by even greater pain, as if a thousand poisonous insects were gnawing at his heart. In just a few seconds, cold sweat soaked his back.

He tried to scream for help, but when he opened his mouth wide, he could only gasp for breath, as if his vocal cords had been cut off.

Then another bell rang, and the pain in his body slowly subsided.

"Will you open the door or not?"

"Open...open..." The man dared not delay any longer, his hands trembling as he opened the door, afraid of suffering the same torment he had just endured again.

Wen Yuan pulled the person out directly, and his gaze swept around the car before settling on the small wooden box. As soon as it was opened, he saw something that looked like yarn. It was only half a finger long, with a little bit of red at one end. Wen Yuan looked in that direction and saw Da Linzi dragging Xie Ning out of the car.

She turned in one direction, and the yarn-like thing followed suit, but the red dot kept pointing at Xie Ning.

There's no way I don't understand what's going on.

After all, they studied different schools of thought, but although she had never seen the Guiding Gu before, she had heard of it.

"Who sent you?"

The man trembled and dared not speak, which angered Wen Yuan so much that she kicked him again.

If she guessed correctly, the person who wanted to harm Xie Ning was the same group she was investigating.

Wen Yuan was interrogating people here, while Da Linzi and other car owners and residents from the surrounding area were rescuing people. Fortunately, the rescue was timely. Although two cars were blown up later, no one died on the spot, only some were seriously injured.

Ambulances and police are already on their way.

Are you alright?

Xie Ning shook her dizzy head.

She bought a good car, and the airbags deployed in time, so she wasn't seriously injured, except for a broken right arm and a cut on her forehead.

It seems to be a mild concussion, but nothing serious.

She was also puzzled as to how the accident had suddenly occurred. She half-opened her eyes and glanced at the horrific scene on the road. She didn't believe it was an accident.

At the time, she felt that several cars around her were driven as if they were fatigued, which was very strange.

Xie Ning told Da Linzi this, and he just nodded repeatedly, "I know, I know, don't say anything yet, hey doctor!! Here!"

"Can you still walk?"

Xie Ning nodded. Actually, she could handle the injury herself, but she shut up when she saw Da Linzi half-lift her up and run towards the ambulance.
