The walls were lined with rows of jars containing various bodily tissues, and one wall was covered entirely with eyes, so densely packed that it was terrifying to look at.
"Carli, we've come to retrieve the spare organ for number 037." Chu Qing led Xie Ning into the inner room.
Inside was a short-haired woman wearing a uniform similar to work clothes. She was working, and many of the symbols on the floating light screen were incomprehensible to Xie Ning. He only roughly knew that it was gene editing.

Chu Qing handed one of the boxes to Xie Ning, and when she saw that Xie Ning's hands were red from the cold, she realized that she had forgotten something. "I forgot to take you to change your clothes."
