Chapter 9 Premier Wen is having a daily episode of illness.

This is now the eighth year.

The nurses took pity on her and took good care of her.

On sunny days, I would take her out to bask in the sun. Sometimes when I had free time, I would come over and read the newspaper to her, tell her stories, or talk about interesting things that happened in her life.

The girl was cleaned up very well.

It's clean and refreshing.

The nurses were always in a good mood whenever they saw her.

"You came back so suddenly," Song Jinhuan said to Sanjin.

"For Wen Li, it's not a good thing to get too caught up in fantasy scenarios."

"In the book, the male protagonist's MD was not cured until the very end, under the influence of the female protagonist, and this event laid the foundation for their relationship."

Song Jinhuan suddenly realized, "So, the shorter the time I spend in front of him after he interacts with the female lead, the closer I am to the success of the mission?!"

Sanjin nodded. "That's one way to understand it."

"What if he gets so caught up in his fantasy that he can't get out of it?" Song Jinhuan didn't rule out this possibility.

Sanjin replied matter-of-factly, "Of course it depends on the host."

"Rely on me?!"

Song Jinhuan was shocked and said somewhat flusteredly, "I'm not even very good at getting along with people, how could I possibly solve such a difficult problem!"

Sanjin, however, said calmly, "Don't you and Wen Li get along very well, host?"

Um?

Is that all they've got?

Song Jinhuan had no experience in this area. She had always lived a life of hiding and running away, and dilapidated temples and abandoned houses were the places she would choose to go.

Wen Li was the person I interacted with the most, besides the outsider and San Jin, in my memory.

Sanjin's reassuring voice continued, "Host, don't worry, no matter what happens, I'll be by your side."

“We grow together. No one has a smooth start; everyone stumbles and falls along the way.”

"Host, our meeting..."

It is a very lucky thing.

Sanjin only got halfway through his sentence before the scene before Song Jinhuan's eyes suddenly changed.

Large patches of light shone through the glass and fell on me.

Song Jinhuan was more suited to darkness than to light.

She instinctively covered her head and slid off the chair before she could even look around.

The table cast a shadow on her.

The girl patted her chest, trying to calm her rapidly beating heart.

Where is this place?

From Song Jinhuan's perspective at this moment, all she could see were tables and chairs.

And across from them, a somewhat aggrieved figure lay under the table, her long legs encased in suit trousers.

The dark brown leather shoes were polished to a shine, and the blue and white stripes of the hospital gown could be vaguely seen reflected above them, stretched out exceptionally long.

Before she could react to who it was, a familiar male voice came from above, hesitantly asking, "Are you... alright?"

The next second, the girl's soft, white fingers rested on the edge of the table, and with a slight effort, the top of her head was exposed to the man's view.

Then a pair of big, round eyes peeked out, like a fawn's, wet and wary of its surroundings.

Once it was confirmed that it was him, an obvious look of joy appeared on his face.

"It's you!"

The girl poked her whole head out, then, as if relieved, crawled out from under the table and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, the light was too bright, I was a little out of line."

Wen Li never expected that the girl's strange behavior would be due to this reason.

He recalled their first meeting; the study had only a small window, and the room was dimly lit. The girl was clearly much more at ease then than she was now.
