Chapter 133 Meet Again

"Dora, hurry up, we're going to be late for morning self-study."

Liu Zilin, who was standing at the intersection, waved to Cheng Duola who had just stepped out of the door.

"Here I come~"

Today, Cheng Duola no longer looks as miserable as she did when she was kidnapped. Her face has become more radiant thanks to the careful care of her parents, and she looks full of energy.

"I'm so sleepy, this damn shit school!!"

"It's too torturous. I want to have a good time after the college entrance examination."

"Dora, Dora, look!!"

"There is such a beautiful girl in our school."

"She would look better if she took her glasses off."

Jiang Zhiran's figure just ran straight into the sight of the two people.

After her figure walked away, Liu Zilin kept staring at her blankly.

"Fuck, Zilin. What's wrong with you?"

"Are you interested in her?"

"What nonsense, Dora. I'm a perfectly normal person."

(Class 3, Grade 2)

Jiang Zhiran was just about to sit down in his seat when he found that the chair was covered with paint.

Needless to say, this was done intentionally.

"Why don't you sit down, Jiang?"

"That's right. Jiang likes to act aloof and has a weird temper. No wonder no one wants to be friends with her."

"The things she draws are so weird. I don't understand how anyone could have such an idea."

Jiang Zhiran said nothing, but took a wet towel and silently wiped the paint off the chair.

She had long been accustomed to that group of people pointing fingers at her. Her life was in her own hands, so why should she listen to a bunch of idiots telling her what to do?

She just wants to live her life well.

She's a loner, and she used to have a good friend. But maybe that's just superficial, not true. If it's not suitable, it's not suitable. All she gets from this relationship is negativity, which affects her mood.

So, it’s better to break up early.

Jiang Zhiran never expected to meet Chao Youye at school.

She just followed Chao Youye from a distance.

"Why are you following me?"

He turned towards Youye and spoke softly.

"Um... I just wanted to thank you... for saving my life... yesterday."

"The teacher said that we should be grateful and repay kindness."

Chao Youye saw that the girl in front of her looked a little embarrassed, with a Band-Aid on her arm.

"Okay."

"You promised?"

The moment the girl heard his agreement, emotions surged in her eyes.

Chao Youye met the girl's eyes.

The eyebrows and eyes are somewhat similar to his...

"What's your name then..."

"Chao Youye..."

"Jiang Zhiran..."

They exchanged names.

After evening self-study, they left the school together.

As luck would have it, Cheng Xiao saw this scene.

He got out of school early today, so he planned to come see his sister Jiang Zhiran and go home with her.

Who is that boy? Why is he next to Jiang Zhiran?

He returned home with an unhappy face.

"Sister~ You are finally back. I have been waiting for you for a long time."

Cheng Xiao looked like a newlywed bride waiting for her husband, with a somewhat aggrieved expression on her face.

Jiang Zhiran ignored him and turned around to go back to his room.

"Sister~"

His wrist was suddenly grabbed tightly by the other party, and the usual smile disappeared from Cheng Xiao's eyes.

"Let go."

"No... No... You haven't taught me how to do the exercises today."

"Get lost."

Jiang Zhiran immediately shook off the other person's hand, leaving red marks on her slender white wrist.

"Sister, I didn't mean it. I just wanted you to teach me how to do my homework."

With a "bang", the door closed and Cheng Xiao was locked outside.

Jiang Zhiran took out her little notebook and wrote another entry on it.

[One more reason to hate Cheng Xiao, what a bastard.]

(The Ye family's house————)

Raindrops trickled down the edge of Chen Chunhua's umbrella, forming small puddles at her feet. She stood in front of the wrought-iron gates of the Ye family villa, her fingers trembling slightly. When she left, she had never imagined she would one day set foot in this place again.

"Name?" A cold male voice came from the intercom.

"Chen Chunhua, I'm here to apply for the nanny position." She gathered the corners of her clothes that were wet from the rain, and her voice was drier than she had imagined.

The iron gate slowly opened. Chen Chunhua took a deep breath and stepped inside. The roses in the courtyard were in full bloom, exactly as she remembered them, except that the bushes seemed taller. Her eyes unconsciously drifted to the window on the right side of the second floor—that was Ye Qingliu's room.

"Please go directly to the reception room. The interviewer is waiting for you." The voice on the intercom instructed.

Chen Chunhua nodded, even though she knew the other party couldn't see her. She walked through the garden path with ease and came to the reception room at the side entrance of the main building. The door was ajar, and she raised her hand and knocked lightly three times.

"Come in."

The voice startled Chen Chunhua. It sounded too young to belong to Uncle Li, the housekeeper. She pushed open the door and saw a young man in school uniform standing at the window with his back to her. His slender figure was clearly visible against the rain-soaked glass.

The boy turned around, and the resume in Chen Chunhua's hand fell to the ground with a thud.

"Qing...Qingliu?" Chen Chunhua's voice was almost choked.

Ye Qingliu took two steps forward, and his school uniform jacket swayed slightly with his movements.
