Tears oozed from the corners of his eyes, slid down his flushed cheeks, and disappeared between their intertwined lips and teeth.
"Do you know you're wrong?" Wu Meng stepped back slightly, his voice low and dangerous.
Xu Jinshi looked at her blankly, his lips red, swollen and wet from the abuse he had just endured. His eyes were unfocused; the sudden, intense kiss had completely shut down his ability to think.
"I... was wrong..." He answered instinctively, his voice filled with tears, but he didn't know where he was wrong.
Wu Meng sneered, then suddenly bent down and lifted him up. Xu Jinshi exclaimed, his black hair falling down completely, covering his panicked expression.
"Sister! Put me...down..." He struggled weakly, but his drunken body was completely out of control and he could only let her do whatever she wanted like a cat grabbed by the scruff of the neck.
Wu Meng strode into the bedroom and threw him onto the bed without gentleness. Xu Jinshi bounced on the soft mattress, his black hair spread out in a messy, wolf-tail pattern on the pure white sheets, forming a stark contrast.
He struggled to sit up, but she pinned his legs with one knee and leaned over to kiss him again.
This kiss was deeper than before. Wu Meng's fingers slid into his hair, gripping the back of his head to prevent him from escaping. Xu Jinshi's breathing became completely disordered, his chest heaving violently, his fingers unconsciously clutching the bedsheets, his knuckles turning white.
"Sister... please..." He sobbed under her lips, his voice broken, "I... can't stand it..."
Wu Meng stepped back slightly, watching him on the verge of collapse. The corners of Xu Jinshi's eyes were incredibly red, tears streaming down his temples and into his hair.
His lips were swollen and wet, slightly opened due to his rapid breathing, revealing a bit of white teeth.
He finally raised his hand and trembled as he put his arm around her shoulders. It was not a rejection, but an embrace that was almost begging for mercy. This subtle movement made Wu Meng's heart suddenly soften.
She slowed the intensity of the kiss, changing it from punishment to possession, and licked the place where he had just been bitten soothingly with the tip of her tongue.
Xu Jinshi immediately relaxed like a comforted little animal, his fingers carefully running through her hair in response to the kiss. His movements were clumsy and sincere, with the undisguised and passionate feeling of drunkenness.
When Wu Meng finally let go, Xu Jinshi had become as soft as water. His lips were red, swollen and broken, and his chest was heaving violently to absorb oxygen. Tears finally flowed uncontrollably - physiologically, due to lack of oxygen and overstimulation.
"Why are you crying?" Wu Meng's voice was still cold and hard, but her fingertips gently brushed across his wet cheek.
Xu Jinshi shook his head, and the water droplets on his black hair splashed onto Wu Meng's face. He tried to speak, but only a choked sob came out, and his tears flowed even more violently.
The little wolfdog, who was usually at ease, was now as fragile as a newborn puppy, and his whole body was trembling slightly.
Wu Meng pinched his chin and forced him to look up: "Remember this feeling."
Her voice was low. "Remember who made you cry."
Xu Jinshi's scattered gaze slowly focused on her face, tears still flowing. He looked completely broken, his usual cunning and teasing were gone, leaving only the most primitive vulnerability and dependence.
His fingers carefully hooked the corner of Wu Meng's clothes, like a small animal afraid of being abandoned.
"...Only my sister." His voice was hoarse. "Only my sister..."
These words were like a key that suddenly opened a locked box in Wu Meng's chest. She lowered her head and kissed away the tears from his eyes, her movements unusually gentle.
Xu Jinshi seemed shocked by the contrast, her eyelashes trembled violently, and more tears flowed out.
"Shh..." Wu Meng's lips pressed against his wet eyelids. "Don't cry."
Her kiss gradually moved down, from the bridge of his nose to the corner of his lips, and finally she gently held his injured lower lip. Unlike the previous violent kiss, this kiss was almost gentle, and her tongue licked the broken skin soothingly.
Xu Jinshi was trembling slightly under her, his fingers unconsciously clutching the bed sheets.
When Wu Meng stepped back again, Xu Jinshi's breathing had become much calmer, but her eyelashes were still wet and trembled from time to time.
"Go to sleep." Wu Meng rubbed his wet head and stood up to leave.
Xu Jinshi suddenly grabbed her wrist, his force so light that it was almost imperceptible: "...Don't go."
Moonlight streamed in through the gaps in the curtains, casting mottled shadows on his face. Wu Meng looked at his tear-stained face, and a strange, soft emotion spread in his heart.
She silently took off her coat and lay down, pulling Xu Jinshi into her arms. His body was cold, and his skin was covered with a layer of fine particles from the cold shower just now.
Xu Jinshi immediately wrapped himself around her like an octopus, buried his face in the crook of her neck and took a deep breath.
His breathing gradually became even and long, and his tense body slowly relaxed. Wu Meng's palms were placed on his lower back, and the skin there, which had been rubbed red by her, now felt a little warm to the touch.
Wu Meng looked down at the sleeping person in her arms, her fingertips gently tracing his red and swollen eyelids. She suddenly realized that no matter how angry she was, she shouldn't make him cry - this realization made her heart feel a strange pain.
She tightened her arms and subconsciously hugged Xu Jinshi tighter.
"Good night, little wolfdog," she whispered, placing a soft kiss on his forehead.
Xu Jinshi unconsciously rubbed her chin in his sleep and let out a sigh of satisfaction.
