Chen Yanbai took the lollipop from his mouth, and a cold smile appeared on his lips: "Prepare for action. Remember, the primary goal: control the scene, obtain core samples and accounts! Operation code name -"
He paused and uttered two words, "'Clear the account'."
The two words "clear the accounts" were like a cold switch, instantly starting the sophisticated killing machine.
"action!"
The command reaches each team member's headset instantly through the encrypted channel.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
A faint, silenced gunshot suddenly rang out in the deadly silence of the logistics park, like the sound of death knocking at the door. The front and rear door locks of the warehouse were almost simultaneously destroyed by the specially designed door-breaking bullets!
"Police! Freeze!"
"Put down your weapons!" A stern shout exploded along with the sound of heavy footsteps breaking through the door!
Inside the command vehicle, several split-screen displays instantly switched to the first-person perspective feed from the team members' helmet cameras, shaking violently. The footage showed a brightly lit warehouse filled with various cardboard boxes and barrels of chemical raw materials, and the air was filled with the pungent smell of organic solvents.
More than a dozen men in work clothes or casual clothes were frightened by the sudden attack. Some of them subconsciously reached for the machetes and homemade pistols hidden behind the barrels of raw materials, while others simply squatted down with their heads in their hands.
"Kill the resistance!" Shen Yanbai's cold voice sounded in the communication channel.
Bang! Bang!
With precise bursts of gunfire, the two thugs who had just touched their weapons were instantly thrown to the ground, and blood quickly spread on the concrete floor.
"Control Area A!"
"Area B is safe!"
"Target area found! There are reactors and filling lines! Repeat, production lines found!"
The scene quickly switched. A team of soldiers broke through the hastily stacked barrels of raw materials and headed straight for the southeast corner deep in the warehouse.
There was a relatively independent space enclosed by simple partitions. Several rusty but still running reactors made a low humming sound, and thick pipes connected to the filling table.
Some white crystalline powder and crude packaging tools were scattered on the table! The strong and strange chemical smell was emanating from here!
"Evidence collection team, come on! Quick!" Chen Yanbai shouted into the microphone.
Several technical police officers wearing chemical protective suits quickly rushed into the scene carrying boxes.
Just then!
A skinny worker who was huddled in the corner of the packing table and looked terrified suddenly had a desperate and murderous look in his eyes!
He suddenly lifted the lid of a barrel disguised as a raw material at his feet, revealing the densely tangled wires inside and a countdown timer that was flashing red light!
"Be careful! Bomb--!" The team member who was rushing in the front had bloodshot eyes and his roar resounded throughout the channel!
Boom——!!!!
All the screens in the command vehicle were instantly engulfed in a blinding white light! Then came a deafening explosion that seemed to tear the world apart!
The screen shook and spun wildly, then went completely black! The piercing sound of alarms and the hum of electricity instantly filled the communication channel!
The violent shock wave was like an invisible giant hammer, smashing hard on the outer wall of the heavy command vehicle, making a dull and terrifying noise!
The entire car body jumped suddenly, the lights inside the car flashed wildly, the instruments burst into sparks, and the screen fragments flew everywhere!
"Ugh!" Gu Yuxiao was thrown hard against the cold car wall by the huge inertia. He felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and his gold-rimmed glasses were shaken off.
Ah Cheng reacted very quickly and used his body to hold him tightly, preventing him from getting injured again.
"Boss!" Ah Cheng's voice was filled with rare shock and anger.
"Cough..." Gu Yuxiao supported his dizzy head, and a rusty smell of blood filled his mouth.
He raised his head suddenly, and his bloodshot eyes looked towards the center of the explosion through the violently shaking car window.
Deep in Area B, the huge warehouse was torn open from the inside as if by an invisible giant hand. A scorching fireball wrapped in thick smoke shot up into the sky, instantly engulfing half of the warehouse.
The reinforced concrete roof was blown away and twisted like a fragile piece of paper, and burning debris splattered wildly in all directions like a rain of fire. The dazzling flames dyed half the night sky a hideous blood-red.
The shock wave, carrying scorching air waves and deadly fragments, swept across like the scythe of the god of death towards the action team members who were attacking or on standby outside the warehouse.
“No——!!!” Chen Yanbai’s hoarse roar exploded in the communication channel filled with electrical noise, filled with incredible rage and shock and pain.
It’s over!
All plans, all clues, all the people who rushed in... were instantly engulfed by the flames of destruction!
Gu Yuxiao pushed away Ah Cheng who was protecting him, and his bloody hand tightly grasped the car door handle, with veins bulging on his knuckles from the force.
He had to get out! Li Zhou… Li Zhou was still at the outer surveillance point! He yanked open the car door.
"Boss! It's dangerous!" Ah Cheng wanted to stop it.
But Gu Yuxiao had already rushed out regardless of everything. The scorching air mixed with the pungent stench of burning chemicals and thick smoke hit him in the face, almost suffocating him.
The ground beneath my feet trembled in the aftermath of the explosion. Before me was a hellish scene: the burning warehouse was like a giant torch, twisted steel bars protruded hideously from the flames, and burning debris kept falling.
The sirens, cries of pain, and the roar of collapsing buildings intertwined into a symphony of doomsday.
He staggered, his eyes frantically scanning the chaotic scene, searching for the familiar figure.
Police rescue forces were trying to establish a cordon around the fire, firing water cannons in vain at the all-consuming flames.
Suddenly, Gu Yuxiao's eyes were fixed on the edge of the fire, next to a burning ruin not far from the collapsed outer wall of the warehouse!
