Chapter 29: Wish Come True

"Youye, Mommy has to go out for something, so you just stay home, okay?"

The woman in brightly colored clothes held Xiao Chao Youye's shoulders and spoke in a soft voice.

Xiao Chao Youye didn't say anything, but just quietly watched his back disappear from his sight.

Chao Youye knew it all. He knew his mother would abandon him forever like this, and he no longer had any feelings for this woman who only left him with a blurry back.

In the final analysis, did she really love him? Love or not love is actually very obvious. He had vaguely known the answer in his heart earlier, but he just didn't want to tell everything.

Chao Youye let go of those cumbersome emotions. It is very easy for people to be bound by emotions and unable to escape.

Chao Youye's father lives abroad all year round. He would send him living expenses from time to time, but he didn't come back often.

This is how he spent his childhood. His father gave him the best things, and that best thing was undoubtedly money. However, no matter how good something is, it cannot compare to permanent companionship.

He was often alone in his huge home, without servants or housekeepers. He lived alone. His life was monotonous and boring. In junior high school, he often got into fights, sometimes coming back covered in bruises.

He didn't have much money, and he never worried about anyone trying to cause trouble for him. He could just use money to settle everything. At the age of fifteen, he already had a good-looking face that girls liked.

That rainy night, he brought back a young man named Mu Xinrong, and from that day on, everything changed.

What kind of emotion did he hold when he approached Mu Xinrong? He held up the umbrella and let the rain fall helplessly from it, with a hint of life in his eyes.

He invited a strange boy to go home with him. He just felt that he had found something interesting, and everything became incredible.

At first, he often asked the boy to run errands and buy things for him in the hot summer. The boy never said anything about his errands. He would go out in the scorching heat and come back with a bunch of drinks, and he would just smile and pant as he handed the drinks to him.

The warmth from the palm of his hand was transferred to his hand along with the cold drink. For the first time, Chao Youye felt that the boy's smile was more dazzling than the sunlight outside. Something silently slipped into his heart, again and again.

He no longer asked the boy to run errands or buy things for him, and his attitude towards him was also changing.

A paper airplane carried the boy's true feelings. Chao Youye and Mu Xinrong skipped classes and went to the internet cafe together. They soared freely like free birds in an unfettered world, squandering everything they had.

Unaffected by anyone or anything, they live their lives freely and unrestrainedly. In their second year of junior high, they never worry about being bombarded with test papers and having to work through homework until 2 a.m.

Chao Youye couldn't explain why, it was just some simple things, just a way of continuing his old lifestyle. But he felt happier with Mu Xinrong.

By the third year of junior high school, Chao Youye began to restrain his previous behavior and actually started to study hard.

"Youye, which high school do you want to apply to?"

"Quanxin High School."

He just said this casually, but Mu Xinrong remembered it for a long time. He knew that Mu Xinrong was a hard-working person, but English was his weak point, which would affect his overall score.

He always saw Mu Xinrong studying late in the classroom, and he was always the first one there. His desk was covered with densely packed English vocabulary... He was practicing English practice questions every day.

This guy looks like he wants to be bullied. If a cat's tail is stepped on, it will definitely scratch you with its claws.

They went to the same high school, and time passed quickly. Chao Youye's face became more refined after entering high school, and he was still as popular with girls as ever.

Ever since that kiss in the bar, he realized that Mu Xinrong had been avoiding him for the past week. A thin layer of window paper had been pierced, and he was the one who started it.

The invisible shackles were opening towards that tiny place, and something was pouring out from it. This tiny thing as dust-like and elusive was still successfully captured by him.

These days, Chao Youye has figured out everything, that is, his feelings for Mu Xinrong.

He was unwilling to admit that the person he liked was actually a fool, and when this fool really disappeared from his world, his heart sank.

Well, everything has broken free from its restraints and control. Mu Xinrong is like a warm little sun, shining its light wherever it goes.

The sun can warm everyone around it, and the sun's light naturally shines into his world.

Chao Youye's heart beat for the only time because of the dazzling light. That kiss was not an accident.

He expressed his feelings at that moment, but did the other party really feel it?

Our other protagonist, Mu Xinrong, obviously suffered from insomnia that night, and his memory was still stuck in the bar.

Why would he do this?! Chao Youye why why would he do this??!!

Did he discover his little thoughts? No, no. Mu Xinrong comforted himself in his heart. He had been hiding from Chao Youye these days.

His mind was in a mess. He wondered if the kiss was just an accident. Thinking of this, he felt a little disappointed.
