Chapter 303 Qin Yuheng's "Large Dog" Daily Life

That back view was filled with joy and a great sense of satisfaction of "finally being able to do something for my brother."

Qin Yuzheng's gaze followed the figure that disappeared at the door in an instant. The ripples in his deep eyes seemed to become clearer for a moment.

He withdrew his gaze and picked up another document, but the pen was suspended over the paper and did not fall.

A few minutes later, Qin Yuheng returned carefully carrying the coffee. Inside the cup was the perfect coffee he had described, steaming hot.

He held his breath and moved gently as if he was dismantling a bomb. He placed the cup steadily in its original position next to Qin Yuzheng's hand, adjusting the angle of the cup handle to the exact angle.

"Brother, it's done." He lowered his voice, with a hint of excitement as if seeking credit, and looked at Qin Yuzheng with bright eyes, waiting for his evaluation.

Qin Yuzheng picked up the cup and brought it close to his nose. The rich, mellow aroma of coffee mixed with a very light aroma of milk penetrated his nostrils. He took a shallow sip.

The temperature is just right, the taste is smooth, and the milk foam is delicate, perfectly replicating his habits.

"Hmm." He put down the cup and uttered only a very short monosyllable.

However, just this one syllable was enough to instantly make the smile on Qin Yuheng's face grow wider, as bright as if he had stolen the sun.

He "sank" back into the sofa with satisfaction, curled up into a ball again, and continued to "guard" his god with his astonishingly bright eyes, without blinking, full of adoration and satisfaction.

Qin Yuzheng picked up his pen again and continued working. The rustling sound of the pen tip scratching across the paper became the main melody again.

But this time, there seemed to be a subtle... warmth in the study?

The sunlight filtered through the floor-to-ceiling windows, moving across the carpet. The warm yellow light finally fell on Qin Yuheng, who was curled up on the sofa, giving his fluffy hair a furry golden edge.

The warm environment, coupled with last night's violent emotional fluctuations and hangover (although soothed by the milk), and now being exposed to the warm sunshine, Qin Yuheng's strong spirit began to dissipate little by little.

He blinked hard, trying to dispel the drowsiness that kept coming, but his eyelids grew heavier. His head began to nod, like a chick pecking at rice. The arms that were hugging his knees gradually relaxed.

After Qin Yuzheng finished annotating one document and raised his hand to pick up another, his eyes inadvertently swept across the sofa.

The large dog that was full of energy just now was now completely curled up in the large sofa, with its head tilted on the soft cushion and its fluffy hair covering half of its face.

His long eyelashes fell quietly like butterfly wings, casting a small shadow under his eyes. His chest rose and fell slightly with his even breathing, making a very subtle snoring sound like a young animal.

The warm sunlight fell on the side of his face as he slept, making his usually overly delicate and flamboyant facial features appear unusually soft and harmless, even with a bit of childish innocence.

He fell asleep, defenseless, like a cat that has finally found a safe haven and is completely relaxed.

Qin Yuzheng paused. He put down the documents in his hand, and his deep gaze fell quietly on the sleeping figure on the sofa.

That gaze was no longer sharp, no longer cold, and even lacked the usual scrutiny. It became extremely focused, extremely quiet, as if describing a lost and recovered treasure, with an indescribable... complexity.

There was helplessness, indulgence, scrutiny, and even... a very faint hint of tenderness that even he himself hadn't noticed?

Time seemed to thicken and slow at this moment. The only sounds in the study were the subtle hum of the heating system and Qin Yuheng's long, even breathing.

The light of snow outside the window reflects on the interior of the room, creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Qin Yuzheng looked at it for a long time, so long that the sunlight moved a little further on the carpet.

Finally, he sighed very softly and silently. The sigh was as light as a feather falling to the ground, but it seemed as if a heavy burden had been lifted.

He stood up, his movements extremely quiet, making no sound. He walked to the sofa, his tall figure looming over the sleeping Qin Yuheng.

He bent down and stretched out his bony hands, not to push him awake, but very carefully and gently pulled up a thin cashmere blanket belonging to the sofa that had slipped onto Qin Yuheng's legs, carefully covered his shoulders, and tucked in the corners.

His movements were meticulous and focused, with an almost clumsy gentleness that did not belong to Qin Yuzheng.

After doing all this, he stood up and took another deep look at his brother who was sleeping soundly in the morning light.

Then he turned around, walked back to the desk even more lightly than when he came in, sat down again, and picked up the pen.

The rustling sound of the pen tip scratching across the paper sounded again, soft and steady, like a silent lullaby played for this quiet and peaceful morning.

Outside, the snow has cleared and the sky is bright, the sun shining brightly. Inside, the elder brother works calmly while the younger brother sleeps soundly. The large desk and the soft sofa create the most warm and strange scene on this snowy morning.

The sunlight shines through the floor-to-ceiling windows, stretching the figures of the two people and casting them on the smooth floor, blending silently together.
