Chapter 348 Pranks on a Sunny Day

"Jin Annuo." He called her full name, and his tone seemed serious, but the slightly rising ending tone and the indulgence in his eyes that was almost overflowing and warmed by the sunlight completely betrayed him.

He raised his free hand and reached for his forehead with a clear target - the pink lace hairpin.

Upon seeing this, An Nuo immediately stretched out his free hand like a kitten whose tail had been stepped on, trying to "rescue" his "masterpiece": "No! It's so beautiful! It suits you so well!"

Her fingertips barely touched the edge of the smooth lace, but he was quicker than her. His slender fingers had already grasped the small hairpin and gently removed it.

The pink bow left the thick black hair and looked particularly small and delicate between his fingers.

He lowered his eyes to look, then looked up at her cheeks which were slightly flushed with anxiety and the hand stretched in the air, trying in vain. Finally, the corners of his lips could not help but curl up into a clear and happy arc.

he asked slowly, the smile in his voice no longer hidden.

Jin Annuo felt a little embarrassed when he looked at her. She struggled slightly with the wrist that he was holding, but failed to break free.

She simply gave up, puffed out her chest, and looked back confidently: "Of course! I'm a great painter! If you don't believe me..."

She glanced at the mobile phone on the low cabinet, her intention was obvious - to take a photo as evidence.

Jin Chanyun followed her gaze and glanced at the phone, his smile of understanding deepening.

Instead of letting her go, he took advantage of the strength of her wrist and gently pulled it.

An Nuo was caught off guard and lost his balance. With a low cry, he fell forward involuntarily, and his forehead hit his strong and warm arm hard.

"Ouch!" She covered her forehead and glared at him in shame and annoyance.

He seemed not to see her accusing look, his arm steadily supporting her weight, while his other hand, which was holding the hairpin, was raised very naturally at this moment.

An Nuo only felt a strand of hair on her forehead being gently brushed away, and then, a slightly cool touch clamped her hair - the pink lace hairpin was firmly and neatly pinned to her forehead.

"Hmm," he tilted his head slightly, examining her seriously, sunlight dancing in his smiling eyes, "She's really good, and suits you very well."

She wanted to refute and protest, but her lips moved but she couldn't say a word.

She simply buried her face in his arms, like a naughty little ostrich, and uttered in a muffled voice: "...Brother, you are bullying me."

A very light chuckle, resonating from the chest, came from above my head.

His fingers that were clasping her wrist finally loosened, but he did not retract his freed hand. Instead, with a hint of comfort, he gently placed it on the top of her head, rubbing her soft hair. His fingertips accidentally brushed against the pink hairpin that he had just pinned on her.

"Who is bullying me?" he said slowly, his voice still hoarse from sleep, but as smooth as silk warmed by the sun.

"It also comes with a 'global limited edition' bunny tattoo and a small crown?" He was referring to the little bunny on her face and the hairpin on her forehead.

Jin Annuo couldn't help but rub her face on his arm, trying to wipe away the embarrassment, but ended up rubbing the pink watercolor on her cheek onto his clean cuffs, adding another piece of "evidence".

She raised her head, her cheeks flushed, the pink bow on her forehead sparkled in the sun, and the little rabbit pattern on her face was a little blurred due to the friction just now, making her look even more adorable.

"Then... then my 'Global Limited Edition' Mr. Rabbit," she blinked her sparkling eyes, counterattacked, and pointed at the masterpiece on her face, "Shouldn't I go look in the mirror and admire my new look?"

Jin Chanyun raised his eyebrows, his eyes sweeping over the newly added colorful fingerprints on the cuffs, the faint wetness on her cheek (although he couldn't see the specific pattern, he could feel it), and the smug "little rabbit" on her face.

Instead of getting up, he relaxed his body and sank deeper into the soft cushions of the lounge chair, his arms still resting behind his head, his posture as relaxed as if he was enjoying a sunbath.

"No rush." He said slowly, his eyes passing her and looking out at the sunny balcony. "Such good sunshine, it's a pity to waste it."

He paused, his gaze returning to her face, and said with a hint of joking, "Besides, the photographer isn't in place yet, how can we enjoy it?"

Jin Annuo followed his gaze toward the balcony. The sun was shining brightly, illuminating the leaves of several potted plants with a translucent emerald green. On the small white wicker table, the half-empty glass of lemonade she had casually set down that morning was slowly dripping with condensation.

A gentle breeze blew by, bringing with it the scent of freshly cut grass from the garden below. It was indeed…perfect weather for taking photos.

She looked at her brother's relaxed expression, as if waiting to be picked, and then at the remaining paint on her hands, and an idea suddenly came to her mind.

She smiled slyly and got up from the carpet: "The photographer will be here soon! Mr. Rabbit, please keep your pose!" After that, she rushed to her room like a whirlwind to get her cell phone.

Jin Suyun watched her disappear behind the door, the smile on his face lingering for a long time. He then slowly raised the hand that was smeared with paint, and gently touched his cheek with his fingertips. Sure enough, he felt a trace of wet, not yet dried paint.

He shook his head helplessly, but his eyes were filled with deep indulgence.

His eyes inadvertently swept over the crystal paperweight on the low table that reflected colorful spots of light, the fallen paintbrush and a small pink water stain on the carpet, and finally fell back on the clear little fingerprint on his cuff.

The sun was baking warmly, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of lemonade and grass.

He closed his eyes slightly, feeling the sunshine-soaked tranquility after the hustle and bustle.

The cool touch of the small hairpin seemed to still linger on her forehead, and the light-colored old scar on her wrist almost melted in the warm golden light under the direct sunlight.

A few seconds later, accompanied by a series of brisk footsteps like jumping notes, the "photographer" holding a mobile phone reappeared at the door with a "professional" and excited smile on her face, and the pink bow on her forehead swayed gently with her movements.

"The most unique Mr. Bunny in the world—" She stretched out her voice and pointed her phone at him, "Look at the camera! Eggplant!"

The sunlight poured in, freezing the image in the camera, along with the helpless yet indulgent smile on his face and the pink bunny on his cheek, into the brightest and warmest moment of this sunny afternoon.
