Chapter 366 Hua Jinyue’s Investigation?

Hua Jinyue sat on a bench in the corridor outside Ye Qingliu's ward, with a laptop on her knees and her fingertips tapping rapidly on the keyboard.

Her expression was as cold as ice, her pink twin ponytails hung down beside her shoulders, her calves swayed gently under her skirt, but her eyes were as sharp as a knife.

"You dare to touch my brother...you're seeking death."

She hacked into all the surveillance systems of the cruise ship "Estrella" and retrieved all the video footage of the 24 hours before and after the explosion.

The images flashed before her eyes frame by frame, and her pupils contracted slightly, capturing every suspicious detail.

Hua Jinyue's finger stopped at a scene - 37 minutes before the explosion, Su Xinghui walked towards the engine room alone, carrying a silver suitcase in her hand.

Her expression was calm, even with a hint of determination, completely unlike the other guests who were chatting and laughing easily.

"It's you." Hua Jinyue sneered and quickly retrieved Su Xinghui's communication records and bank statements for the past three months.

Call records: A week before the explosion, Su Xinghui frequently contacted an unregistered number, with each call lasting no more than 30 seconds.

Bank transfers: Her personal account received two huge remittances from offshore accounts, totaling 20 million.

Email exchanges: The encrypted email contained a plan of the cruise ship, with the engine room highlighted.

Hua Jinyue narrowed her eyes, her fingers tapping lightly on the keyboard. "The Chao family's money...Grandpa Chao?"

She quickly hacked into the Chao Group's internal system and retrieved Mr. Chao's schedule and financial records. Soon, she discovered:

The day before the explosion, Mr. Chao secretly met with Ye’s second uncle—Ye Qingliu’s “long-dead” second uncle, Ye Linyuan.

Ye Linyuan has a shell company under his name, which has recently had a large amount of capital flow, and the flow direction is consistent with Su Xinghui's payment account.

"Hehe, Second Uncle is not dead, and he has joined forces with the Chao family?" Hua Jinyue curled up the corner of his mouth in a sneer.

She continued to dig deeper, hacked into the Interpol database, and retrieved Ye Linyuan's fake identity - he had been hiding in Southeast Asia for many years, using an alias to control underground arms deals.

"I see," she whispered to herself. "Second Uncle wants to use the explosion to get rid of my brother, and the Chao family wants to control Chao Youye. Su Xinghui... is just a pawn."

Hua Jinyue closed the computer, stood up, and looked cold.

"Su Xinghui, you're done."

She took out her cell phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, it's me." Her voice was sickly sweet, yet piercingly cold. "Send me the Su family's address and transfer ten more people, now."

The person on the other end of the phone hesitated for a moment: "Miss Hua, Young Master Ye hasn't woken up yet, would you like to wait..."

"I say, now." She spoke each word with an unquestionable tone.

After hanging up the phone, she walked back to the ward, leaned over and gently kissed Ye Qingliu's pale forehead.

"Brother, Jinyue will go and avenge you."

—————Time dividing line

The darkness of night, thick as indissoluble ink, hung heavy over the Su family estate. The courtyard, once ablaze with lights, was now utterly silent, with only the pale moonlight barely outlining the outlines of the neatly trimmed yet ghostly shrubs.

The tall iron carved gate was closed tightly, like a silent giant mouth, swallowing up all sounds.

Hua Jinyue was standing in front of this huge, tightly closed door.

The night breeze lifted her signature pink twin ponytails, and the ends of her hair swayed gently in the pale moonlight.

The well-tailored Nolita suit she wore made her calves, exposed to the night breeze, look even whiter and more slender. She looked as exquisite as an expensive doll in a shop window.

"Bump it open." She parted her cherry lips and uttered two words. Her voice was light, but it carried an unquestionable chill that froze the bone marrow.

Behind him, several men in black, seemingly blending into the shadows, didn't hesitate. One of them quickly jumped onto a specially reinforced black SUV that resembled a steel behemoth.

The engine let out a suppressed low growl, and then suddenly roared. The front of the car aimed at the carved iron gate that symbolized the dignity of the Su family, and slammed into it with destructive force like a black arrow shot from a bow.

"boom--!!!"

A deafening roar ripped through the deadly silence of the night sky. The sturdy iron gate instantly buckled and cracked under the violent impact, denting and twisting inward like a fragile piece of paper before finally collapsing with a loud bang.

The huge wreckage hit the ground, stirring up a cloud of dust.

The shrill alarm system was violently triggered, and the shrill sound of the alarm, like the howl of a dying beast, instantly resounded throughout the entire manor. The dazzling red light flashed wildly, dyeing this luxurious territory an ominous blood color.

Hua Jinyue's face was expressionless, as if she had merely stepped on a fallen leaf. Her small, round-toed black leather shoes stepped without hesitation onto the cold, twisted remains of the iron gate, making a slight creaking sound.

Her slender fingers turned the hilt of the knife at a dazzling speed and with a cruel rhythm. The cold blade drew heart-pounding, deadly arcs of cold light under the red light of the alarm and the bleak moonlight.

"Su Xinghui." She whispered the name softly, like a whisper between lovers, but an unusually sweet smile slowly appeared at the corner of her lips.

The door of the Su family's main house was suddenly pushed open, and several bodyguards holding high-voltage electric batons and with nervous expressions rushed out.

The burly man in the lead looked at the strange and terrifying scene before him—a broken door, a flashing alarm, and a girl who was as delicate as a doll but exuded a terrifying aura.

And the man in black behind her, who was as silent as a mountain—he shouted sternly, his voice slightly distorted by nervousness: "Stop! Who are you?! Do you know where this is?!"

Hua Jinyue tilted her head, her movements innocent, like a good student asking questions in class.
