Qi Zhetao and Han Qi sat in the last row of the classroom with a look of despair on their faces, while the teacher at the podium kept talking non-stop.
The students around me seemed to be in the mood, their hands holding pens were writing notes frantically without stopping for a moment.
There is a very eye-catching slogan posted at the back of the classroom.
In the long journey of seeking truth, only by learning, constantly learning, diligently learning, and creatively learning can we cross mountains and ridges. --------Hua Luogeng]
[The stars do not ask who is on the road, time will not let down those who work hard, your efforts will surely light up the road ahead.]
[When the hardship is over and happiness returns, the mountains, rivers, stars and moon will all be gifts to celebrate.]
[The sea is boundless and the sky is the shore; I am the peak when I reach the top of the mountain.]
[Set out for the moon. Even if you can't reach it, you can still stand among the stars.]
[Swimming in the sea of questions, soaring in dreams, every ray of light you see is a beacon of hope.]
The two of them seemed out of place in the classroom. They finally waited until the get out of class was over and went to the bathroom together.
Before I even entered, I heard an incongruous sound at the bathroom door.
Five or six boys were bullying another boy. The boy being bullied was wearing a pair of old-fashioned glasses. He was directly slapped away by the other boys, and his face was bruised.
The boy in charge (the perpetrator) was named Zheng Junwei. He was a wealthy second-generation kid and had some status in school. His parents doted on him, and he became increasingly unruly.
"You guys, show him some more color."
Zheng Junwei's younger brothers naturally heard it. His younger brothers also had some capital at home, but they were not in the same circle, so how could they play together?
Fists rained down on the boy, who bit his lips tightly, trying not to scream.
"Please!! Stop hitting me!"
"Then crawl over there and I'll let you go!"
Zheng Junwei said with a very evil smile.
The boy's face was full of fear, tears welled up in the corners of his eyes, his eyes were red, he bit his lips tightly, and sweat slid down his forehead and cheeks.
The boy's hands couldn't stop shaking. He knelt on the ground in embarrassment, obeyed their instructions, and slowly crawled over.
"Is bullying so fun?"
Han Qi's cold voice echoed in the toilet.
"none of your business!"
One of Zheng Junwei's younger brothers responded without mercy.
"Don't meddle in other people's business, or you'll end up in trouble."
Another little brother said viciously to the two of them.
"I just like to make the road uneven."
"Why are you wasting your time talking to a bunch of little brats?"
"A social beating will do!"
What Han Qi hates most is people bullying the weak, and they do have to act according to that rule.
Han Qi rushed forward and punched Zheng Junwei in the face, knocking him off balance. He then grabbed his hair and punched him several more times.
"You... actually dared to hit me... Believe it or not, I will make sure you have no regrets in this school."
"You just have a little money at home. I hate people like you the most. If I find you bullying others again, I will beat you up every time I see you."
A hero suffers a loss again, but as long as there is green hill, there will be no fear of running out of firewood.
"Just wait for me."
Zheng Junwei left these words viciously, and before leaving, he glared at Han Qi and left the toilet with his brothers.
"Hey, are you okay?"
Han Qi said to the boy kneeling on the ground.
"sorry……"
The boy who had already climbed up stood up immediately and spoke loudly to them.
"You shouldn't have... saved me. I... am a burden... I'll bring trouble to you."
"ha?"
"Aren't you going to tell the teacher about this?"
The boy didn't say anything. He picked up his glasses with his clothes, wiped them and put them back on.
The boy's name is Wang Xiaojun, and he comes from a small town in a remote area. His family is not well off, but he has excellent academic performance and was able to afford the tuition to attend school here by borrowing a government loan.
Because he has no connections or background, and his personality is a bit too cowardly, he doesn't dare to talk to others.
Therefore, he is easily bullied because the strong contrast of inferiority weighs on his heart. Because he does not resist, he is used to being beaten and becomes numb, so he is manipulated and threatened.
"Thanks………"
Wang Xiaojun's voice was low. He could sense the different auras emanating from the two men. He understood that they were not of the same kind.
Wang Xiaojun returned to the classroom alone...
Qi Zhetao and Han Qi felt a pang of pain as they watched Wang Xiaojun leave. They'd only helped him this time, but what about the next time? If others couldn't stand up and fight back on their own, they couldn't change their fate.
(After school)
They agreed to take extra lessons at Yan Yu's home in this world.
"Here are a few recent practice tests. Try them first. I'll then provide you with specialized training based on your individual circumstances."
Ye Qingliu spoke to the three of them at the same time.
"OK!!"
Qi Zhetao took the test paper, picked up his pen and began to write, entering a state of mind that was very impressive. Although Qi Zhetao spent the whole day in school either slacking off or sleeping in class, he did at least listen to some of the material.
But the little knowledge he had stored was used up in one set of test papers after another.
