Chapter 103 You're an Outcast

Chapter 103 You're an Outcast

After listening carefully to Amos's words, Lu Xiwen replied, "There will be a brief period of chaos before something or a certain consciousness is generated."

"Alpha's leg bone is placed in the exhibition hall to remind the world that peace is hard-won."

"Moreover, as far as I know, that top Alpha wasn't entirely selfless. In the short three years after his differentiation ended, he marked hundreds of Omegas, most of whom died during extremely painful fevers because they couldn't accept the pheromones of ordinary Alphas."

"Moreover, most of that Alpha's research used ordinary people as test subjects."

“Mr. Amos, it seems you only want me to see what you insist on believing.”

Amos listened to Lu Xiwen's words and a mocking smile appeared on his lips. "Mr. Lu, you are indeed different."

Lu Xiwen finally realized that even if the contract for this cooperation were signed, it would be meaningless.

With the country in chaos, if Amos unilaterally breaches the contract, the cross-border trade dispute could take three to five years to resolve.

Before coming, Lu Xiwen's expectations of the head of the Konot family were limited to the fact that the other party was a normal person with at least some compassion.

Even if most of the potion ends up in the pockets of merchants after it is introduced, it will at least alleviate the anxiety of the local Omegas.

But clearly, Amos is not only abnormal, he also looks down on and doesn't care about people below the higher ranks, whether they are Alpha, Beta or Omega.

Lu Xiwen also realized that the so-called cooperation was just a gimmick. Amos was testing his attitude. If he showed even the slightest disgust for ordinary people, the new inhibitor might become insignificant, and another unethical plan would be put on the table.

"It will take up two days of my time," Lu Xiwen thought to himself, and then signed the agreement.

This is a perfect example of "life is like a play, and it all depends on acting skills".

Silence filled the surroundings.

Archer said, "The weather is really nice," and then started talking about the two bulldogs at the door. To liven things up, he asked Lu Xiwen if he had ever owned a dog.

"No, and I don't plan to keep one," Lu Xiwen said calmly. "Especially man-eating dogs."

Archer's voice suddenly disappeared.

"It's getting late, I'll head back now." Lu Xiwen stood up.

Amos showed little interest, gave him a brief handshake, and said, "It's been a pleasure working with you."

"It's a pleasure to work with you."

Archer asked cautiously, "Mr. Lu, won't you appreciate the scenery here?"

"I've seen many similar cases already, thank you for your help."

Archer had no choice but to drive Lu Xiwen down the mountain.

On the way, Archer glanced at the rearview mirror, a moment of hesitation flashing across his face, before speaking: "Mr. Lu, our patriarch is very sincere in his desire to cooperate with you."

“Oh?” Lu Xiwen met Archer’s gaze. “So, you must know your patriarch quite well.”

In this way, Archer's next words were completely blocked.

Perhaps. Archer is a person with normal thinking, but his loyalty is extremely dangerous. For that reason alone, Lu Xiwen saw no need to listen to him any further.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Lu Xiwen immediately began packing his things.

In Country C, you can charter a private jet if you have the money. Although it can't fly directly to China, it's no problem to go to some small, safe countries on the border. Lu Xiwen booked a car with the hotel and left in less than three minutes.

It got dark quickly. Considering that Pei Wu hadn't woken up yet, Lu Xiwen only sent him a message, telling him the approximate time he would be returning to China.

The night breeze lifted Lu Xiwen's trench coat, and inside the silent white covered bridge, someone was guiding Lu Xiwen.

Someone helped collect Lu Xiwen's luggage, and everything went very smoothly. But just as one foot stepped onto the gangway, Lu Xiwen looked up at the private jet in front of him and a strange feeling suddenly flashed through his mind.

"Mr. Lu?"

"Change to another one," Lu Xiwen said.

"ah?"

“I’ll give you double the money.” Lu Xiwen pointed to a car next to him, “Change to that one.”

A look of panic crossed the staff member's face as they hurriedly explained, "Mr. Lu, once this is ordered, it cannot be changed."

"If dogs could fly, they could probably fly over Country C. You only care about money, not people. Now you want to talk to me about regulations?" Lu Xiwen withdrew his foot and asked one last time, "Will you change it or not?"

The staff member gestured to look back, speaking sincerely, "Mr. Lu, this is the best private jet we have here. Please go up and take a look..."

Lu Xiwen turned and left.

"Bang!"

Two rows of huge, blinding runway lights illuminated, and because the angle had been adjusted, they all fell on Lu Xiwen in an instant, making every strand of his hair visible.

Lu Xiwen's expression was cold and stern.

"Why is Mr. Lu in such a hurry?" Amos walked out from the side of the corridor. Because he was dressed in black, his figure looked even thinner, like a sharp sword hidden in its sheath.

"Even if a deal falls through, we can still be on good terms." Lu Xi said, "There's no need for that; you can't stop me."

Amos raised an eyebrow.

Then Lu Xiwen said, "Even if you are top-notch, the age gap is still a factor."

“This is truly embarrassing.” Amos said, tilting his head slightly. Then, a jet-black mamba snake crawled out from behind his back, with a scarlet line running from the top of his head down the middle of the snake’s skin to its tail.

At this moment, the equally grayish vertical snake eyes stared intently at Lu Xiwen, hissing as it flicked its tongue.

Amos's bodyguards instinctively moved aside; even wearing sunglasses couldn't hide their fear.

Amos rubbed intimately against its pheromone entity.

Lu Xiwen said, "I don't like snakes."

“I’ve made up my mind based on our conversation during the day,” Amos said softly, as if waiting for the perfect moment to strike. “You are an anomaly.”

Lu Xiwen scoffed, "You might as well say that anyone who doesn't collude with you is an anomaly."

“Arrogant.” Amos slightly raised his chin, his eyes flashing with intense coldness. His refined face seemed to have turned upside down, filled with resolute killing intent. “You always travel alone. It seems you don’t even have a real concept of what it’s like to be in Country C.”

Lu Xiwen suddenly smiled: "You might understand why I like to be alone."

As soon as he finished speaking, a howling hurricane brought with it a chilling pheromone. It was as if countless blades had sprung up in the air, and the fear of being cut if you got too close was uncontrollable. The group of people who rushed up only paused slightly before being immobilized by the powerful top-level suppression.

In Amos's slightly widened eyes, the silhouette of a person lying on their back was reflected.

This is not something that can be won by sheer numbers. Amos quickly realized this, so after eight years of rest, he used a pheromone attack for the first time.

The vast mountains awoke, and all things raised their heads in a clamor. Two bodyguards were sent flying backward, and in that brief moment, Amos arrived, cutting through the wind.
