Chapter 43 Clean and Decisive
Lu Xi heard that Guan Yan quickly accepted his Omega identity at the time, but now it seems that this is obviously not the case.
He clearly loathed it.
Even the strongest can have unchangeable facts, such as the significant decline in Omega's physical abilities, their uncontrollable behavior during their heat cycle, and their loss of self and groveling for the sake of Alpha's pheromones.

Since then, the Omega Protection Association has been established with strict regulations, and finally, those incompletely evolved beasts can be controlled.
Guan Yan asked in a hoarse voice, "Do you have any cigarettes on you?"
Pei Wu habitually carries a pack of cigarettes. He originally wanted to say that it was not good to smoke at this time, but Guan Yan was in a very bad mood, and the sweat on his long eyelashes condensed like ice beads.
Pei Wu took it out and gave it to him.
The inhibitor and the patch finally worked. Guan Yan took out a cigarette, lit it with trembling hands, took a deep drag, and gradually relaxed.

Even though Pei Wu had very little knowledge about Omega, he knew what Guan Yan's situation was. He had never allowed any Alpha to mark him, not even temporarily.
If a person doesn't receive comfort from an Alpha for a long time, their pheromones will become unbalanced and cause a disturbance.
Pei Wu: You can't go on like this.
"I'd rather die than just find any Alpha," Guan Yan said bluntly, flicking his cigarette ash as he added, "Actually, it'll be fine once this phase passes. I can't do anything about my own heat cycle, but I can really resist the pheromones of external Alphas."
Pei Wu: "So certain?"
"Otherwise what?" Guan Yan lifted his eyelids to look at him. "You're covered in Lu Xiwen's pheromones. Do you think I'm confused?"
That's really true!
After finishing a cigarette, Guan Yan regained most of his strength. Just as Pei Wu had thought, he had money and could hire the most professional medical team. No Alpha should touch him until they were willing to do so.
Pei Wu: "Did you bring bodyguards?"
"They should be inside by now." Guan Yan pointed to his wristwatch, noticing a flashing red light, indicating it likely had an alarm and GPS tracking function.
Thump!
The cubicle door was kicked open forcefully. Pei Wu held her breath and sensed the heavy breathing outside. There were at least three to five people there!
He couldn't smell the complete pheromones, so he didn't know that even if he suppressed the sudden heat wave, Guan Yan's pheromones still drifted out, causing a small-scale Alpha disturbance.
Zhang Song was blocked outside by several strong Alphas and could only anxiously make a phone call.
"It's right inside," the stranger commanded through gritted teeth. "Come out!"
“His pheromones aren’t even a fraction of what Lu Xiwen’s are, and he’s still wearing them.” Guan Yan spat out his cigarette butt and explained to Pei Wu, “Of course, I’m just stating the facts, don’t mind me.”
Pei Wu was speechless for half a second, then gave Guan Yan a look.
Guan Yan understood, but didn't quite agree, silently asking, "Can you manage alone?"
Pei Wu nodded.
Just then, the cubicle door was slammed shut, the screws on the side instantly flew off, and the originally straight door fell to the ground askew. Through the crack, an Alpha with cloudy, red eyes looked inside. He glanced at Pei Wu, then stared intently at Guan Yan.
Without saying a word, Pei Wu turned the doorknob and kicked it open.
Unlike professionals, Pei Wu attacks where the vital points are most vulnerable. He grabs an Alpha who is trying to crawl into a cubicle and pulls him back forcefully. At the same time, he smells the gasoline-scented pheromones on the Alpha and feels nauseous.
Pei Wu went all out, punching and kicking until he heard the angry shouts of the security guards outside: "Get out of the way!"
But these Alphas swarmed around Guan Yan like locusts, eager to mark him immediately.
The bodyguards and security guards were blocked at the door, and for a moment the air was filled with the stale scents of pheromones. Guan Yan had his arms on his knees, and Pei Wu was struggling to keep up with her one arm. One of them was missed, and when the other person excitedly pounced on Guan Yan, Pei Wu's heart stopped. "Guan Yan!"
Guan Yan suddenly moved. He grabbed the other person's arm, used a grappling technique to hold the other person's inner arm, twisted it hard with his other hand, and then slammed it hard against the partition of the cubicle. The next second, the sound of bones breaking rang out, accompanied by the Alpha's scream.
Guan Yan looked up and smiled innocently at Pei Wu, as if to say, "This is all I can do."
He kicked away the inferior Alpha curled up on the ground, his eyes filled with a chilling light. Once he confronted the Omega Association, none of these beasts would escape today.
Guan Yan looked around but couldn't find a single A-grade Alpha. They weren't that sensitive to pheromones; they were just wantonly releasing their evil intentions, trying to mark a high-quality Omega.
Pei Wu blocked these people from advancing an inch, and with a clean and decisive punch, the pig-headed man's nose immediately bled. Then, with a sweeping elbow, the man was knocked into the trash can. Immediately afterwards, Pei Wu kicked down a short, stout man who had just gotten up.
The legs under those trousers outlive these deformed beauties.
"Wow, so handsome," Guan Yan thought to himself. "What luck does Lu Xiwen have? If Pei Wu were an Alpha, no matter what level he was, he wouldn't have a chance."
“Pei Wu?” Guan Yan’s tone suddenly changed.
Pei Wu sensed the danger at close range. The opponent was obviously much more agile and nimble. He pretended to attack the left, but grabbed a cannon fodder and pushed him in front of Pei Wu. Taking advantage of Pei Wu's distraction, he bit his neck.
A fishy smell approached, and without exaggeration, Pei Wu's hair stood on end. He was incredibly fast, and as he dodged, he heard Guan Yan curse, "Why didn't you wait until I was dead before you came?!" The next second, his shoulder was bitten.
The other party wanted to bite Pei Wu's neck, or more accurately, her glands, but the moment Pei Wu dodged, he saw that there were no glands! This Alpha could sense that although the pheromone barrier on Pei Wu's body was incredibly strong and domineering, it was actually weak. In other words, since he wasn't an Alpha, he naturally assumed that Pei Wu was an Omega.
"You're a Beta?" the man asked, utterly shocked.
Guan Yan stood up and shouted angrily, "Pull out his teeth!"
The bodyguards got in by stepping over those Alphas who had lost their minds, and immediately took control of the situation.
Pei Wu slapped the Alpha away; the Alpha's pheromones seemed to smell of ashes and were quite unpleasant.
Pei Wu frowned and glanced sideways. When the Alpha tried to mark him, his canines were very sharp and bit through his suit, but fortunately he was wearing thick clothes and the bite didn't go through.
Guan Yan was utterly intolerant, his stomping and jumping up and down completely losing his usual elegance. Of course, who wouldn't feel heartache seeing a rough gem stained with dust? Guan Yan, emboldened by his anger, rushed forward, his gaze scanning Pei Wu from head to toe like a scanner: "Are you alright?"
Pei Wu stretched her shoulders. "It's alright."
