[Emiya Messenger] You don't understand me.

[Emiya Messenger] You don't understand me.

Summer in Fuyuki City is characterized by sweltering heat filling the air and the incessant chirping of cicadas that dominate the shade of the trees.

The persistent heat not only makes people irritable, but also affects their appetite.

However, for Artoria, whose Master, Shirou Emiya, is a master chef, there is never any question of losing her appetite, especially since the warm atmosphere at the Emiya family's dining table is truly idyllic.

In such a peaceful and tranquil time and space, the only ones who could make Artoria take the situation seriously were the other Servants who visited from time to time.

Therefore, whenever a magical reaction approaches the Emiya residence, the red dragon, who is guarding the important stronghold of food, will be filled with fighting spirit and bravely confront the enemy to defend its precious territory!

However, this time it was Artoria who returned home and found a strange magic in the dining room.

--The enemy has invaded our core units!

Artoria suppressed her panic, recalling that Shirou Emiya had not used Command Spells to call for help, and that there were no signs of an attack on the Emiya residence, but she still headed straight for the restaurant with a solemn expression.

The moment she pushed open the shoji door, a rich aroma wafted out, mingling with the fragrance of fresh vegetables, evoking a refreshing taste. Artoria was momentarily stunned.

The red-haired boy standing in the open kitchen turned around at the sound. Under Artoria's undisguised surprise, Shirou Emiya smiled without a trace of gloom and said to the King of Knights:

"Welcome back, Saber, your family has come to see you."

Gazing at the unfamiliar yet familiar figure seated at the dining table, Artoria stammered out the person's name: "Morgan...?"

Whether it was the curse cast on Gilgamesh or not, when he intervened in the confrontation between Morgan and Lancelot, Morgan was unexpectedly transported to a completely different, peaceful world.

If luck played a role, Morgan firmly believed that Gilgamesh's luck was simply too low!

as well as……

--What exactly is going on with Lancelot?

Morgan traces the memories of raising Lancelot back to Vivian's personality, a connection that earned him the title of Knight of the Lake. Morgan le Fay, on the other hand, has no particular connection to Lancelot in his personality and is even displeased by his overly straightforward nature.

Unable to find clues from his existing memories, Morgan speculated that it might be something that had not yet happened, and since he could not obtain more information, he simply stopped thinking about it.

Although she was concerned about the future development of Artoria and Matou Sakura, returning directly to that world would likely embroil her in an incredibly troublesome melee.

This world is much simpler and easier (the Holy Grail War has not yet begun), and there is also an Artoria. Why not try to persuade "this" sister?

Unfortunately, her relationship with Artoria was just starting to improve, and now she has to start all over again (Morgan: I'm so annoyed, but there's nothing I can do about it).

Fortunately, the experience from the previous world can serve as a reference.

Just as Morgan was pondering how to approach Artoria, a boy called out to her.

"Do you need any help?"

In the sweltering summer heat, people sought refuge in the cool shade or under eaves. Thus, the rare foreign face in the middle of the street attracted many curious glances, especially since the woman was a beautiful woman with long silver hair and azure eyes. However, due to the conservative nature of the country, no one dared to approach her and strike up a conversation.

The reason why the boy, Shirou Emiya, started talking to her, aside from his own personality, was mainly because the woman's face looked very much like Artoria's. In addition, Shirou Emiya realized that she was not human, so he couldn't help but feel the urge to go forward and investigate.

When Shirou Emiya's face came into Morgan's eyes, the color of flames and the cold blue of ice intertwined in her irises, and her fairy eyes reflected the red-haired boy's sincere heart, a sincerity that seemed to be the embodiment of the radiance of his soul.

Upon discovering the boy's Master identity, Morgan blinked and casually said, "My name is Morgan le Fay, and I am King Arthur's sister, a princess of Britain. Although I can sense King Arthur's presence, unfortunately, I am not the kind of control freak who monitors his sister. Do you know how to find King Arthur?"

"So you're Saber's older sister. I'm Shirou Emiya, Saber's Master. May I ask what brings you to Fuyuki?" After a brief self-introduction, Shirou Emiya asked cautiously.

Shirou Emiya had not asked Artoria about Morgan's past life, so he didn't know much about Morgan, only a vague impression that "he seemed to be a villain in legends".

With none of the seven Servants having left the stage, if Morgan's goal is to seize the Holy Grail, it will inevitably affect subsequent interactions. Emiya Shirou's only two advantages are the unspoken rule that he can only act at night, and the Command Seals that can teleport Servants to his side at any time.

Emiya Shirou waited anxiously for Morgan's reply, only to see two blushes rise on her fair cheeks. Her words, spoken in a slightly shy tone, came out: "Although for certain reasons, King Arthur and I are not exactly close, she is still my sister. I want to know if she is doing well, what kind of people she associates with, and try to show concern without offending her. If I can get closer to her, that would be even better."

Even if Morgan could use magic to subtly influence Shirou Emiya, turning him into her puppet and providing various assistance, it would definitely be disliked by Artoria. Therefore, she chose to reveal part of the truth, which was enough to gain the trust of the naive boy.

—She is a noblewoman of British royalty, how could she not even have this little bit of cunning?

Under Morgan's deliberate guidance, Shirou Emiya was completely taken aback by her and invited her to have a meal together.

That's how the initial scene came about.

"Anyway, let's talk about it after we finish eating," said Shirou Emiya, smoothing things over as he brought everyone's dinner—Southeast Asian-style curry—to the table.

Morgan sat obediently at the dining table, opposite Rider wearing glasses and the girl Matou Sakura, with Artoria and Emiya Shirou on her left and right sides, appearing to be surrounded.

Artoria squinted at Morgan for a long while, while the latter picked up his spoon and looked back, "?"

--No, no, I'm the one who should be looking confused!

The blond, green-eyed British red dragon thought to himself.

Seeing Morgan scoop up a piece of white rice covered in curry sauce and examine it closely, then put it in his mouth with undisguised amazement in his eyes, Artoria remained vigilant, but also lowered her eyes and began to eat her rice.

Thanks to Rider bringing back plenty of fresh ingredients, today's dinner was delicious and nutritionally balanced.

The bell peppers, pumpkin, and corn stir-fried with the chicken are fragrant with the aroma of onions, sautéed garlic, and ginger. Even though commercially available curry cubes are added, the well-cooked pumpkin and coconut milk elevate the curry flavor to a higher level. Shirou Emiya also adds pre-fried green beans, eggplant, and zucchini to enhance the texture.

"It tastes so good, it's because of the coconut milk." This was the compliment from Matou Sakura.

"I see, it tastes different from regular curry," Artoria exclaimed.

"Is it corn? It's very sweet and delicious," Rider said after swallowing the vegetable topping.

"Eating curry on a hot day is quite nice, isn't it?" Shirou Emiya smirked.

"This food called curry is indeed very delicious," Morgan exclaimed, his taste buds captivated by the delicious food.

Even though Morgan didn't care much for food, she unconsciously quickened her eating pace a little, while glancing discreetly at Matou Sakura across from her.

Judging from the girl's age, it's been about ten years since the last Holy Grail War? Without her intervention, Matou Sakura's talent was truly wasted.

As for Shirou Emiya, she remembered that Kiritsugu Emiya had no other children; he was probably an adopted son.

Morgan found it incredible that the two, who came from rival families, were so close, but she wouldn't be so tactless as to ask directly. She didn't care much about things that didn't concern King Arthur.

For the kindness of a meal, Mori wanted to repay with jewels, but Shirou Emiya hastily refused. Her offer to help with the dishes using magic was also rejected. The island witch gradually grew displeased, but fortunately, Sakura Matou intervened to smooth things over.

"How could I let the guests wash the dishes? Miss Morgan and Saber must have a lot to talk about, so I'll take care of the cleanup."

So Artoria and Morgan moved to the corridor facing the courtyard, where they sat upright with a plate of chilled watermelon cut by Shirou Emiya between them.

"Please don't be shy." Seemingly noticing Morgan's nervousness, Shirou Emiya smiled kindly.

Upon seeing this, the silver-haired, blue-eyed woman paused for a moment before giving a shy smile.

As Shirou Emiya's figure disappeared at the other end of the corridor, Artoria asked in a low voice, "Morgan, what are you doing here?"

Having some understanding of Morgan's unparalleled magical skills, Artoria skipped over why he was able to manifest and went straight to the key question.

The question struck Morgan with a start.

Having had to delete most of his previous draft, Morgan, after much deliberation, slowly opened the pink petals under Artoria's watchful gaze:

"I don't know you very well, Artoria. It was 'me' who gave you the Holy Sword and escorted you to Avalon, and it was also 'me' who plotted treacherous schemes to frame you at every turn. But those 'me's' are different from the 'me' of this moment. This is not an excuse or a complaint, but a wish for you to understand—"

Princess Morgan, who shared a body with Vivian, the lake fairy, and Morgan le Fay, the island witch, raised her silver eyelashes and looked directly into Artoria's resolute emerald eyes.

"Just as you don't understand me, I don't understand you, and I want to change all of that."

The cold blue iris reflected in Artoria's eyes was like a snowfield frozen for thousands of years under a heavy snowfall, its pure color cold and piercing. However, a beam of brilliant gold was scattered from the clouds, spreading a warm glow over the land shrouded by the cold storm.

That same radiance also shone into the heart of Artoria Pendragon.
