[F/Z] Heroes

[F/Z] Heroes

A woman named Morgan le Fay inherited extraordinary bloodlines, possessed unparalleled power, and turned the entire island of Britain into her possession. In terms of qualifications, she was absolutely a legitimate successor.

However, Uther and the court magician created the red dragon of Britain (Arthur) and entrusted the land to King Arthur.

Having been betrayed by his closest relatives and stripped of his throne and power, Morgan le Fay's hatred for King Arthur is entirely understandable.

However, how should we comment on his magnanimity as a king?

A knight once commented on Morgan: "She used to be such a good woman, why did she become so terrifying? I was just thinking she was as pure as a fairy and as magnificent as a female warrior, but she turned out to be as cruel as a witch. It really seems like three women exist within one woman's body... Well, at least she's the 'normal' daughter of King Uther. Morgan might have some reason like him. She hated King Arthur from the very beginning of Camelot until the very end."

If Morgan has three personalities, which one will ascend the throne? The immaculate fairy, the goddess of war, or the witch—which one is worthy of wearing the crown and sitting on the throne, overlooking all living beings?

But setting aside the unrealized imaginations, Morgan le Fay's image in the hearts of the world, after the establishment and death of Camelot, was deeply imprinted in the torrent of memory and history in a posture of despair.

Those who try to uncover the truth are forever lost in ambiguous anecdotes.

On an island beyond the world, reigning over a land flowing with sin and lies, Morgan could not refute the fact of the tyrannical rule.

This is an intolerable sin for the noble and righteous King Knight.

—And so the distance that had been painstakingly narrowed came to an unpleasant end due to the sharp truth.

Even if Morgan were just an innocent and carefree royal noblewoman, the mistakes she made would only be seen as dew at dawn, which would evaporate without a trace after reflecting a dazzling white light under the bright sun.

In particular, Morgan's inability to explain the nearly thousand-year journey to Artoria further alienated them from each other, creating an already existing barrier between them.

After the banquet, the culprit gave Morgan a smug, brooding look, as if he was enjoying the drama. Morgan secretly cursed the culprit, saying that he would inevitably mess things up at some crucial moment as the price for making fun of the princess.

Morgan then faced the biggest crisis of his life.

--Question: How should I appease my angry younger sister? She's angry because I crossed her line.

Morgan stared intently at Artoria's departing figure as she walked away, deep in thought.

The simplest way is to cater to her tastes, but in Artoria's eyes, no treasure or weapon is as precious as her companions, and besides, she is not a collector of treasures.

In other words, what moved Artoria was something on a spiritual level, namely, the beautiful virtues of human nature.

Fortunately, Morgan was still somewhat confident about this (?), after all, she was not the "evil" personality, and as a novice, she still had the positive emotion of "wanting to get along well with King Arthur" in her heart.

Once the direction is decided, the next step is to implement the plan to "do good deeds".

However, if it's something as simple as helping an old lady cross the street or searching for a missing pet, it would just become a joke. Morgan considers himself a man with lofty ambitions, and once he decides to do something, he has to do something big.

Moreover, the plan's purpose is to appease Artoria, and the Knight King's standards are certainly stricter than those of ordinary people.

Perhaps the Assassin's Master and the Archer's Master made some kind of choice. The Master and Servant who committed the kidnapping case in a high-profile manner were labeled as illegal summoning. Seeing that it didn't matter if he just slacked off in the current situation, Morgan picked and chose and finally set his sights on a pair of sisters.

It's quite a coincidence that the older and younger sisters belong to the three main families of Fuyuki.

Observing through the water mirror the black-haired girl sleeping peacefully in her mother's arms in another city, and another delicate body covered by a swarm of insects, even Morgan couldn't help but frown.

She was not surprised by the cruelty of the magician's methods, but for the innocent child, it was not only an act of violence that etched pain into the heart, but also a detriment to the child's talent.

Morgan could see the whole picture at a glance. The child possessed an "imaginary number," a rare and special attribute, but the family bearing the surname "Matou" was trying to brutally transform it into something else.

Could it be that Tohsaka and Matou have some deep-seated grudge? Morgan, who comes from a noble family, couldn't help but wonder if there were any complicated love-hate relationships or power struggles involved.

However, Morgan didn't intend to consider the private affairs of the two families. In any case, given the established impression of "Morgan le Fay" and Kiritsugu Emiya's consistent style, her actions would ultimately be seen as part of a scheme.

She embodies three identities: a person in a high position, a top magician, and a person of nobility, and chooses to act impulsively.

Sakura Tohsaka... or Sakura Matou, never doubted her parents' love. Even though she was an introverted child who couldn't inherit the family crest, her gentle parents still made plans for her future.

Even though this thoughtfulness left her in a dark and gloomy warehouse, she couldn't help but wail and cry until her hoarse throat was filled with wriggling marking insects.

...So this is what learning magic is like—so scary and painful! How did your sister overcome her fear?

When Matou Sakura could no longer make a sound, and as the swarm of insects engulfed her, and all the holes in her body became numb to the pain, she couldn't help but think this.

The rustling and scurrying sounds of insects crawling on my scalp and in my ears, and the dense, tingling sensation of countless legs crawling on my skin never stopped.

The rustling sound of the insect swarm almost drowned out the voice of Matou Kariya, the uncle who would play with her, but Matou Sakura could still catch his expression visually.

His expression was contorted with pain, his smile stiff and eerie, and his eyes blazed with fury after a shocked roar.

Sakura Matou, who was taken away from the insect pod, still doesn't understand what happened.

In fairy tales, a prince rides a white horse and appears amidst dazzling light to rescue a princess imprisoned by villains.

Sakura Matou slowly raised her head.

What met those violet eyes, devoid of any light, was a fair profile revealed through a corner lifted by the black veil.

Beneath the crown, her long, flowing hair resembled a galaxy, its silvery white strands woven from brilliant stars creating a beautiful, shimmering effect as she moved, making her black dress with blue accents appear even more elegant.

Her "prince" had no strong and splendid steed, nor was he adorned with golden radiance. Instead, he was like a thick fog lingering in a secluded forest, carrying a chill through the mottled tree trunks and drooping branches.

The warmth of Matou Sakura's embrace wasn't as intense as the sun's rays, but its softness made her instinctively bury her face in it, letting the lush shadows of the night path engulf her wounded body, leaving behind a serene and beautiful figure as she strolled along.

Sakura Matou did not receive the fairytale-like rescue she had hoped for, and the rescuer was not even her parents or older sister.

However, children's understanding is very simple, especially Matou Sakura's world, which is particularly narrow. After experiencing the separation from her loved ones and being subjected to torture-like discipline, she had to build a thick wall to protect her vulnerable self.

Therefore, Matou Sakura carefully grasped the small tuft of silver thread in front of her, as if doing so would allow her to retain the figure of the servant for a longer time, until she was certain that what she was seeing was not a dream.

"Who is the older sister?"

Although Matou Sakura's activities were restricted to the mansion and the insect warehouse under her grandfather's orders, she had some knowledge of the Holy Grail War and what Matou Kariya was doing.

It seems to be about fighting for something called the "Holy Grail".

Sakura Matou has no knowledge of Heroic Spirits or Servants; she only knows that Kariya Matou's dark familiar is almost uncontrollable, which has caused Kariya a lot of trouble.

Besides Kariya Matou, there are other people who also possess this special familiar.

These familiars don't resemble cute little animals or dolls; they seem to belong outside of "this place" and exude a peculiar aura, while being undeniably powerful.

To be able to break through Grandpa's defenses and enter the Matou family's barrier, and to be dressed like a princess from a storybook, this person must be no ordinary individual. Is she a magician? Or a familiar?

Sakura Matou's curiosity rose slowly like bubbles from the bottom of a lake, embraced by the shimmering moonlight, when she heard the person speak softly:

"She is the queen of the fairy kingdom."

Ah...it's like a fairy tale.

"Queen...? Then, why did you bring me out?"

—So the beautiful Queen really does exist, but why did she choose me?

The dignified queen paused at the question, and when she looked down at the child in her arms, her icy blue eyes clearly reflected Matou Sakura's face, "Because you are calling out 'Save me'."

How would you describe a woman's tone of voice?

It's not an attempt to soothe a child with tenderness or affection, nor is it a feeling of disgust or resentment towards fulfilling obligations; rather, it's something much simpler...

"You cried for help, so I responded to you."

As Matou Sakura was pushed into that terrifying swarm of insects, she tried to escape time and time again, only to sink deeper into darkness. Every desperate cry she uttered was a manifestation of the despair of unfulfilled desires; in other words, she still held onto the hope of being "saved by someone."

In an instant, tears welled up in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks.

The person who came to rescue her was not the prince or hero she had imagined, and she did not see the dragon defeated or the bad guys punished.

The colorful illustrations in the fairy tale book were covered with indelible stains, and the foul-smelling paint left unsightly marks on the princess's face.

But before the mottled marks left an indelible mark on the story's ending, a delicate hand picked up the book soaked in mud and shook off the filthy stains.

A beam of cool moonlight shone into the dimly lit insect chamber, dispelling the heavy unease and fear.

Even if they are not princes or family members, even if their names are unknown.

This silver-haired, black-dressed Servant is none other than Matou Sakura's hero—

To end the nightmare that had haunted the area since it became known as "Matou," a nightmare composed of piercing desolation, dense insect limbs, and ruthless drilling.

That night, the little girl named "Sakura" was finally able to sleep peacefully.
