The journey back was very bumpy and swaying. Gu Sinian was worried about Su Ying, so he entrusted the task of driving the carriage to Bai Jiyuan.

Gu Sinian's voice came from above, carrying a faint laugh, "Deceiving oneself."
Su Ying opened her half-closed eyes and glared fiercely at the man who only knew how to make sarcastic remarks. "Your elder sister Yu Chuan and her husband are here. Aren't you ashamed?"
Gu Sinian said matter-of-factly, "What's there to be ashamed of? You're my wife, whom I've already registered our marriage with. What's wrong with a hug? You can't accuse me of being a pervert, can you?"
"Besides, you're carrying my child in your belly, probably around two to four weeks along. That's a very vulnerable time, and you can't withstand such a bumpy ride. It's just right for me to hold you. If you don't believe me, ask other people if what I'm doing is right."
Gu Siqing covered the child's eyes, looking helplessly at the couple showing affection. It's good to be young.

Gu Sinian wasn't angry. Having a younger brother or sister was fine. He already had two children, including his beloved daughter, so having a son wouldn't be a bad thing either.
"Okay, okay. I'll grant you both your younger brother and sister's wishes at once."
Bai Yuchuan clapped her hands and laughed heartily, "Yay! I have a younger brother and sister now!"
Su Ying pinched the soft flesh on Gu Sinian's waist, "Let you talk nonsense. I don't have that kind of ability to get pregnant with two at once, let alone twins. You're daydreaming too much."
"It's okay to daydream a little; what if it comes true?"
"Overthinking is a disease; you need to get it treated."
Bai Yuchuan was displeased when she heard this, "Auntie must have a younger brother or sister in her belly."
"Fine, you decide."

Li Yaxian was worried all night and couldn't sleep. She suffered from insomnia all night and was absent-minded when she was working in the morning. She was afraid that Yu Chuan would not make it and would just be gone. She would never see that soft and sweet little Yu Chuan again.
She ran to the oxcart, picked up the little person, and wouldn't let go. Her eyes were only on Bai Yuchuan, and she couldn't see anyone else at all.
"Grandma's little darling, I missed you so much! Are you really alright? That penicillin was really a miracle cure, one dose and it worked instantly."
