Su Ying ignored the buzzing fly and walked past Qiao Xiyan to Gu Sinian and Sun Xuelin.
"Can I see your father? I have a great way to turn trash into treasure."
"We can solve our food problem without cutting down the peach trees."

Qiao Xiyan listened to Su Ying's arrogant words from the side, her eyes almost rolling to the sky, and she kept saying sarcastic things.

The crowd, gathered to watch the spectacle, whispered amongst themselves, pointing and gossiping about Qiao Xiyan and Su Ying.
“That makes sense. Tang’s analysis makes it clear that Qiao is more likely to seduce people. Look at her, she even wore a skirt when she went up the mountain to cut down trees. How can someone wearing a skirt do the work of cutting down trees?”
“That’s right. Although Su Zhiqing is a capitalist’s daughter, she has been well-behaved for the past two days. She’s been honest and upright, and I’ve never seen her be ambiguous with any men or do anything out of line.”
