It took Su Ying two hours to reach her destination, and her butt was sore from sitting for so long.

"Let's go. Let's hurry to the state-run restaurant. If we're any later, your favorite beef noodles might be sold out."
"Let's go, let's go." Sun Xuelin walked with a brisk pace.
A group of people entered the state-run restaurant, and Qiao Xiyan followed closely behind. She was starving and immediately ordered a bowl of beef noodles.
Turning to look at Gu Sinian, she asked shyly, "Sinian, are you hungry? I'll treat you to beef noodles."
"I'm not hungry."
Qiao Xiyan didn't believe it. She hadn't eaten lunch and had grabbed them after work, insisting on coming to the supply and marketing cooperative. She must have been hungry all morning, just like her.
"Si Nian, you don't need to worry about me having money. Order whatever you want to eat. I can afford to treat you to a meal."
Gu Sinian shook his head and replied mechanically, "No need. Thank you."
