Chapter 6: I felt relieved after spending all my money.

After leaving Director Li's house, Su Ying turned and headed to the department store.

I bought some daily necessities and fabrics, buying everything I should and shouldn't have.

Pushing the cart forward, on the way here, in order to avoid attracting attention, I bought the cart from an old man and put all the things I bought at the department store on the cart.

She pushed the cart into a very old alley. Having grown up in Shanghai, she was very familiar with everything in the city, knowing exactly where the crowds were and where they were sparse.

After checking that there were no suspicious people around, he put everything in the cart into his spatial storage.

Fortunately, the space has a preservation function, so there's no worry about expiration. Otherwise, all the things she bought would have expired before she even had a chance to use them.

The days spent in the countryside were the hardest. As long as she got through this special period, the future wouldn't be too bad, since she was born into a capitalist family.

Doing business is a piece of cake for her, without any difficulty at all, but right now, being a capitalist is a death sentence for her.

Otherwise, in her past life, so many people were reformed on the farm, and everyone was bullying her.

When everyone is bullying you, you're not far from death.

The truths I couldn't understand in my past life, I understand very clearly in this life.

Her life has taken a different turn; she will not ruin her health and die young like she did in her previous life.

She is determined to grow old with Gu Sinian, to be a loving couple, and to stay together until the end.

In this life, I have finally escaped the fate of my previous life and no longer have to face that disgusting Su family of three, or the Jiang family of three.

Since you two have such a good relationship, why not stay together and live a good life together for the rest of your lives?

She thought that Uncle Jiang and Aunt Wang genuinely treated her as their daughter and future daughter-in-law, but it was all just her fantasy. They were deceiving her along with their son, keeping her behind as a scapegoat.

Even if the two of them really can't become husband and wife, there's no need to be so heartless. What's wrong with taking her to Hong Kong?

It's good to talk things out. As long as Jiang Yibo talks to her properly, she doesn't really think she can't live without him. Does she really think she's so charming that everyone has to be with him?

He just wanted to take advantage of her family's wealth.

She will never see them again in this life, and the rest of her life will be happy and fulfilling.

Only Gu Sinian could stir her emotions in this life, so she would stay by his side from now on.

The Gu family has been sent to the countryside for reform, and their lives must be difficult. She needs to prepare more supplies to help them out.

Although she had been busy all day and was so tired that she could hardly stand up straight, she kept moving, taking advantage of the spare time to purchase more supplies in case of emergencies.

Su Ying didn't dare to stop. She turned around and went to the supply and marketing cooperative. When she entered the cooperative, she took the cart out of her spatial storage in a secluded spot and pushed it towards the cooperative.

The supply and marketing cooperative bought everything they could eat, wear, use, and even things they didn't need, leaving the staff standing nearby speechless.

The staff member asked Su Ying, who was standing there ready to pay, again, "Are you sure you want all of these?"

Su Ying nodded, "Of course I'll take them all. Why would I take so many if I didn't want them? Would I be bored?"

"But can you use all of this?"

Su Ying frowned and pointed to the daily necessities placed to the side: White Rabbit milk candy, refined flour, salt, soy sauce, wine, soap, clothes, shoes, socks, candy, notebooks, pens, books—she bought everything she could.

Are there purchase restrictions?

The staff member shook his head. "No, not at all."

Su Ying spread her hands and shrugged, "That's settled then. Hurry up and pay the bill, I'm in a hurry."

"But can you carry all this stuff with you?"

Su Ying didn't take it seriously and pointed to the cart placed at the door, "I have a cart."

The staff member's lips twitched. They really came prepared, even bringing a cart. It seemed they weren't just buying randomly, but needed everything. The staff member didn't ask any more questions and quickly started calculating the money.

Su Ying glanced at the bill, then took out a wad of cash and receipts from her crossbody bag.

The staff member swallowed hard, counting all the money and receipts. A big customer had arrived and scanned through everything in the supply and marketing cooperative.

They're really rich.

Su Ying was pulling a cart full of things down the street, attracting a lot of attention, but she still insisted on pushing it by herself.

When they reached a corner and saw that no one was around, Su Ying went into the space with the cart.

The day's work was displayed in the space, and Su Ying felt a great sense of accomplishment.

very nice.

This much stuff is enough for her to live comfortably in the countryside.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and knew that her period was a few days early. She quickly ran to her room, opened a drawer, and found a sanitary napkin to put on.

She then remembered that there were still many things she needed to buy that she hadn't yet. She was already used to the sanitary napkins from the Friendship Store. What if she couldn't find them in the countryside? Was she really going to have to use strips of cloth and wood ash from the countryside like she did in her previous life?

That thing was really unhygienic to use, which caused her to get an infection and become sick. This must never happen again.

After eating some fruit in the space, Su Ying hurried towards the Friendship Store.

Upon seeing a rickshaw, Su Ying flagged one down.

Before long, Su Ying appeared at the entrance of the Friendship Store. Her bag contained a lot of foreign exchange certificates. Su Ying was ruthless when it came to spending money. If she didn't spend these things now, there would be nowhere to spend them in the countryside.

After all, foreign exchange certificates are not usable in ordinary county towns.

I felt relieved after spending all the money.

Su Ying pushed her shopping cart around the Friendship Store, putting everything she could into the cart. She took all the sanitary napkins on the shelf, as well as shampoo, toothpaste, soap, and perfume.
