"Is Su Zhiqing alright? Where is she injured?"
Chen Cuie rushed over anxiously to ask, looking him over from left to right, but she couldn't see where he was injured.
Gu Sinian and Su Ying exchanged a glance, recalling their intimate moments in the space, and then quickly looked away, shyly averting their eyes.
The two of them had increasingly strange expressions. Gu Sinian looked smug, as if he were in high spirits because of a happy occasion.
Su Ying, however, was sickly, as if all her energy had been drained away, and she had no spirit at all.
Sun Xuelin and Chen Cuie are both people who have been through similar experiences, and seeing this scene always gave them a sense of déjà vu.
"One was smug and the other was shy. They were like newlyweds on their first night together, awkward and hesitant, not daring to look each other in the eye."
Sun Xuelin gave an answer based on the expressions on their faces.
Chen Cuie instantly understood Sun Xuelin's meaning. Her thoughts returned to that night, and the next morning, the two of them were just like Comrade Gu and Su Zhiqing were now, with an awkward relationship.
She squeezed Sun Xuelin's hand hard and said, "Say less. These young people are so shameless... Just pretend you didn't see it. The injured one is hugging the uninjured one. Chen Cuie covered her mouth and smiled, "Why do you care so much about other people? Just focus on your own work. Don't forget they've been missing for two hours. We've searched the nearby stream at least ten times, and still haven't found them. Two hours is more than enough time for them..."
Sun Xuelin made a stop gesture. "Stop. How could that be? In the middle of nowhere, Gu Sinian likes Su Zhiqing so much, how could he possibly take her in the middle of nowhere? You're just talking nonsense."
After calming down and thinking about it, Chen Cuie realized that there seemed to be some truth to it, but the close and intimate feeling between the two of them didn't seem fake.
"Comrade Gu's eyes are practically glued to Su Zhiqing. He's so attentive to her. And look at the way Su Zhiqing walks. If they haven't slept together, I'll cut off my head and let you use it as a football."
She glanced at the man and scoffed, "Besides... you men... don't you just like... having sex in the wild? Nothing is impossible, don't you think?"
Based on his wife's various analyses, Sun Xuelin was now completely certain that the two of them had just gone to do something naughty. "And you know what? It really did seem like it."
"Of course. But there is one thing I am curious about. Comrade Gu looked sickly just two hours ago, but now he looks energetic and vigorous. It is indeed a bit strange."
Chen Cuie only has a gossipy nature; she can't bring herself to pry into things.
She didn't intend to continue asking about things she couldn't understand, after all, it was the other person's privacy and it wasn't appropriate to pry too much.

Gu Sinian stubbornly refused to admit his guilt, pretending to be stupid as if he didn't understand the meaning behind his words.
"I didn't do anything. I hurt my hand just now. After cleaning the wound, Yingying accidentally lost her medicine. She was worried about me and took me down the mountain to treat the wound. I came back a little late. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."
Sun Xuelin looked at him with an expression that said, "Don't treat me like an idiot, I don't believe you. Stop talking nonsense. When Su Zhiqing took you to the stream to clean your wounds, didn't you swear that she had ointment in her bag? But two hours later you immediately changed your story. Gu Sinian was embarrassed for a moment, glanced at Su Ying not far away, and immediately made up a lie.

"Stop pretending. We're all men. Don't think I can't see what you just did. Did you take advantage of that young girl right there and then?"
"I didn't realize you were so adventurous. Having sex in the middle of nowhere sounds pretty good. My wife and I will try it next time."
