I did mention it to her.
"Where else can I go if I don't go back to the educated youth settlement? Didn't you say you wouldn't let me stay at the Gu family's house?"
Gu Sinian leaned lazily on the sofa, "Then we won't go back to either place, we'll just spend our wedding night in this space."
Her wedding night was long over, and her body couldn't handle another one, so she made all sorts of excuses to refuse.
“But what will happen to your grandparents if you don’t go back? They will worry about you.”
Gu Sinian really didn't want to go back to that cold, lifeless home. It had warmth, but not much. Today was different; he wanted to stay by Su Ying's side.
After thinking it over, I came up with a compromise: "I'll take you back to the educated youth settlement first, but you have to agree to one condition."
"What are the conditions?"
"You need to go to the toilet around 10 p.m.
"Why?"
"I'll climb over the wall to find you."
