Early the next morning.
While Su Ying was fast asleep in her spatial dimension, an endless argument had already begun on the other side of the Su family home.
As Su Ying was leaving, she heard sobbing coming from the next room. Driven by curiosity, she walked towards Xu Manli's room.
He furtively looked around, and seeing that no one was around, he approached the door without any politeness. As soon as he put his ear close, he could faintly hear conversations coming from inside the room.
"Manman, you need to seize the opportunity to find out about the Su family's background, otherwise we won't have a good time if we go to Hong Kong rashly like this."
Xu Manli had a look of utter disgust on her face. She had schemed for so long and snatched this man for so long, only to find out that he was all show and no substance. He looked like a noble young master, but in reality, he was not much richer than her.
What's the point of all this scrambling?
Is it because he's stupid? Because he doesn't have much money? Or because he doesn't wash his feet before sleeping?
Is his face even remotely presentable?
There are plenty of people in Shanghai who are better looking than Jiang Yibo.
She thought she had snagged a promising stock, but it turned out to be a worthless one. Who could understand the look of utter disgust on her face as she swallowed a fly?
She's pregnant.
This is a bit tricky.
"Brother Bo, you know how bad my relationship with Su Ying is. Our way of getting along is always to ignore each other."
"Although my mother and I have successfully moved into the house, that brat has never given my mother and me a kind look. Why would she tell me where we hid the family property? Don't waste your time."
Not getting the answer he wanted, Jiang Yibo's gentle and refined demeanor instantly transformed into that of a tyrannical beast.

Jiang Yibo was helpless, but there was no better solution at the moment. "Are you sure the Su family really has surplus assets, and that Su Wanning didn't just donate them all to the disaster area?"
Xu Manli wasn't sure about this, but Su Wanning doted on Su Ying so much, how could she leave her nothing and make her suffer?
Although Su Wanning has always had a kind heart, it's not impossible that she would donate all her wealth.
But isn't there also Su Ying, their daughter?
They couldn't have left her with nothing, could they? There must be some place they haven't looked for yet, or Su Ying might have had ulterior motives and hidden away the property.

Xu Manli frowned. "Impossible. There must be other hiding places."

Jiang Yibo looked helpless. "I'll go and investigate again later to see if there are any other places."

She didn't want to live a hard life anymore; she wanted to be a rich wife and live the best life.
Undeterred, she pressed on, "If it were you, would you hide your assets in the locations Su Ying provided?"
Jiang Yibo nodded without hesitation, "Yes. Those three places weren't built overnight; they were designed according to weather changes. They're great places to store jewelry, antiques, and calligraphy and paintings."
"It's warm in winter and cool in summer, thanks to special modifications that keep snakes, insects, and rodents away, and most importantly..."
"What?"
"The location is hidden and most people can't find it. If Su Ying hadn't given me the address, I would never have had the chance to find those three places."
