Gu Sinian was stunned, as if struck by lightning. What the hell? His mother-in-law was pregnant?
I wanted to ask some questions, but my father-in-law carried me into the house next door.

"What's going on? Is my mother-in-law really pregnant?"

"What's the big deal? When an emergency order is issued, everyone, no matter how high their rank, has to assemble."
"What kind of mission is this in the middle of the night? As the wife of the highest leader, you must have firsthand information, especially since you are a bodyguard."
"I know."
"What mission?"
"There's nothing I can't say. I heard there was an avalanche not far away, burying many people, and all the soldiers stationed nearby have been transferred to the rescue."
"Avalanche? We don't have much snow here, how could there be an avalanche?"
"I'm not really sure about that. It seems to be a village not far from the foot of the mountain, where villagers who live off the mountain have settled there for generations."
"An avalanche suddenly occurred at night, like a snowball rolling down the mountain, burying the entire village."
Su Ying swallowed hard. This was a natural disaster and a man-made calamity; how many people would die?
Going to provide disaster relief at this time would be very dangerous.
"Will Dad and Gu Sinian be alright?"
