Chapter 199 The Big Bastard, the Little Bastard
Xing Zhen got out of the car first and respectfully opened the door.
The man with long legs stepped out of the luxury car. After standing still, he bent down and took his son out of the car, gently placing him on the ground.
Tonight, Fu Chenzhou didn't wear a black trench coat, but instead wore an elegant yet relaxed double-breasted black suit. The comfortable and soft fabric and the wide silhouette accentuated his tall and well-defined figure.
He was strong, handsome, and mature, and with an adorable child in his hand, he exuded a charming fatherly aura.
"I'll head back after I finish eating. It won't be long. Wait for me in the car," Fu Chenzhou instructed in a deep voice.
Xing Zhen replied respectfully, "Yes, President Fu."
The butlers and servants waiting in line outside were all taken aback when they saw the third young master of the Fu family, who had not returned home for many years. After realizing what was happening, they all bowed.
"Welcome, Third Young Master!"
Fu Chenzhou held his son's small hand tightly and walked past the servants with a calm expression, his powerful aura making everyone afraid to look him in the eye.
The eldest young master and the second young lady are more precious than the third young master and are also favored by Chairman Fu. However, one is lawless and the other is arrogant and willful, and neither of them has the majestic aura of an heir.
However, they all saw the same commanding presence in Young Master Fu.
Fu Yansi had always lived in the ordinary yet warm little world his father had created for him. He had never seen such a scene before, so he couldn't help but feel a little awkward and clenched his little hands tightly.
"Banban, don't be nervous with your dad by your side."
Fu Chenzhou noticed the child's embarrassment and gently comforted him, "Let's sit for a while, then we'll go home."
“With Dad here, I’m not afraid.” Fu Yansi straightened his back, not wanting to embarrass his father.
After the butler led the father and son inside, the servants began to murmur amongst themselves:
"Good heavens! Is this incredibly handsome man really the Third Young Master? They say girls change a lot as they grow up, can men do that too?!"
"I remember when he was little, he always kept his head down, timid and submissive, and was bullied terribly by the eldest young master and the second young lady. Now, you can't see even a trace of that cowardly behavior from before!"
"That's right! And the Third Young Master has lost so much weight, he's incredibly handsome! The Eldest Young Master is good-looking, but the Third Young Master has clearly overshadowed him!"
Another servant shook his head:
"What's the use of being handsome? The Fu family is a battlefield of fame and fortune, a veritable hell on earth. Whoever has the power calls the shots. The Third Young Master has been marginalized for so many years. Now the Fu family has long since overtaken the other two. If he comes back now, he probably won't even get a sip of soup!"
As Fu Chenzhou, holding Banban's hand, entered the magnificent living room of the Imperial View, they heard a series of familiar yet jarring laughs.
A young man and woman sat on an antique-style, luxurious sofa.
The woman had a voluptuous and alluring figure, and was wearing an expensive and beautiful evening gown. Before the banquet even started, she was already drinking champagne by herself.
It is Fu Ling, the eldest daughter of the Fu family.
The man had sharp, upturned eyes, eyebrows like sharp blades, and a smirk on the left corner of his lips, always carrying a nonchalant, mocking smile.
This is Fu Chong, the eldest son of the Fu family.
Fu Chong held a cigarette between his fingers, and a servant knelt on one knee to light it for him with utmost respect.
“Dad…” Fu Yansi looked at the man, then stepped back, a little timid.
Fu Chenzhou gazed at them with eyes as deep as a still pool, and gently squeezed his son's little hand.
It is a silent comfort and a steadfast protection.
"Hey, brother, look who's here." Fu Ling swirled her wine glass and gave her older brother a wink.
Fu Chong's dark eyes held a hint of cold disdain and a touch of ferocity as he glanced at Fu Chenzhou and exhaled a thick cloud of white smoke towards them.
"Cough cough..." Fu Yansi couldn't stand the smell of smoke and coughed softly twice.
"Hey, isn't this our third brother whom we haven't seen in a long time?"
Fu Ling smiled slightly and took a sip of wine. "I never thought I'd see you at the Imperial View in my lifetime. It's rarer than bumping into a ghost."
"Third brother? What third brother? Is it Sha Wujing or Zhang Fei?"
Fu Chong crossed his legs and propped them up on the edge of the coffee table, his eyes half-closed. "All I saw were two bastards, one big and one small."
Fu Ling burst out laughing.
Fu Chenzhou's dark peach blossom eyes flashed with a dark light, but the chilling aura emanating from him seemed to freeze the air, and an overwhelming sense of oppression enveloped the Fu siblings.
Fu Ling paused slightly, vaguely sensing that Fu Chenzhou was very different from before.
"Dad... let's go home." Fu Yansi's face turned pale.
Even a five-year-old child could tell how vulgar Fu Chong's curses were.
"Banban, don't panic. You've had the rabies vaccine, so you're not afraid even if you get bitten by a rabid dog."
Fu Chenzhou lowered his long eyelashes and smiled slightly. "Besides, Dad brought you here tonight so that you could broaden your horizons."
Otherwise, where would you see so many breeds of dogs?
Fu Chong's face instantly turned ashen, almost dripping with ink.
"Fu Chen! Who do you think you are, daring to call my elder brother a dog?!" Fu Ling suddenly stood up, so angry that she almost smashed her cup on the spot as a signal.
"What's your rush?"
Fu Chenzhou laughed. "Do you also think that Fu Chong is a mad dog?"
"You—!" Fu Ling was furious, her eyes wide with anger.
“Ah Chen”.
Fu Chenzhou slowly raised his eyes and saw Han Xiangyi, supported by a maid, slowly walk into his field of vision.
His mother opened her mouth, her gaze towards him filled with complex emotions.
Fu Chenzhou's face was as cold as frost, and his jawline was slightly tight.
He knew that his mother must have heard Fu Chong scolding him.
But she didn't say a word in defense of her son, not even once she went to his side or stood with him.
However, Fu Chenzhou no longer cared.
This loving mother was kind and compassionate to everyone in the Fu family, except for him.
"Aunt Han, has my dad come down yet?" Fu Chong asked lazily, stubbing out his cigarette.
It was as if Han Xiangyi was just a nanny for the Fu family; the tone was so casual that it showed no respect whatsoever.
Han Xiangyi said gently, "Your dad is at the restaurant. He asked me to call everyone to eat. Children, please go quickly."
Fu Chong gave Fu Chenzhou a sinister look before leaving with Fu Ling.
After they left, Han Xiangyi went to her son and gently comforted him:
“Ah Chen, that’s just how your older brother is. He’s outspoken and doesn’t hold back. Don’t take it to heart.”
What if I take it to heart?
Fu Chenzhou's lips curled slightly, but his eyes remained icy as he spoke each word with emphasis, "What do you suggest?"
