The screams of alarm still echoed in his ears when Hua Mancheng flashed forward, grabbing two of the men in black by the neck with both hands and then smashing their heads down with incredible speed, causing blood to splatter everywhere!
"Ah..." The two servants who were thrown to the ground by Hua Mancheng immediately covered their heads and rolled around wildly, screaming incessantly!
At this moment, it would be superfluous for Mu Wange to say anything more. Her eyes were like cold lightning as she stared straight at Hua Mancheng. Silently, she raised her hand to her subordinates and made a "go" gesture.
Suddenly, numerous experts rushed up from all directions. Caught off guard, Hua Mancheng was knocked back by the oncoming attackers. He trembled and nearly fell to the ground, causing Mu Wange's expression to change drastically, and her slightly upturned lips curved into a deeper smile.
Hua Mancheng flicked his sleeve, turned around and soared into the air, instantly breaking free from the crowd's encirclement. He flew wildly across the open field, kicking up sand and stones. The onlookers' vision was shaken by the impact, and they saw countless black shadows being struck down by him in the blink of an eye!
Hua Mancheng, standing among the crowd, still had a resolute gaze and a straight back.
"Stop...stop now!" The atmosphere at the scene was in chaos when several subordinates following the Grand Secretary's sedan chair suddenly rushed out of the crowd. Before they even arrived, their shouts were directed at Mu Wange and Hua Mancheng.
The sedan chair had barely touched the ground when the Grand Chancellor ordered his men to surround Hua Mancheng, Mu Wange, and their numerous servants. He then shouted sternly, "Who are you? How dare you cause trouble here!"
"I am Mu Wange, daughter of the Duke of Zhenguo. May I ask what advice you may have for me, sir?"
Mu Wan sat confidently on her horse, the smile in her eyes as sharp as a cold wind.
Upon hearing this, the Grand Secretary immediately changed his expression and said to Mu Wange with a smile, "So you are the daughter of the Duke of Zhenguo's mansion. I apologize for my rudeness. May I ask, Princess, who is so audacious as to offend your presence?"
"It's this person. He covets my beauty and is plotting against me." Mu Wange raised her chin slightly at Hua Mancheng, her tone as arrogant as ever.
She was, after all, the only daughter of the Duke of Mu, and was greatly favored by the Emperor and the Empress Dowager. Even the entire Duke of Mu's mansion indulged her.
As Mu Wange spoke, she glanced coldly at Hua Mancheng, who was leisurely smoothing the hair behind his ear with an indifferent expression, as if no one else was around.
The Grand Secretary pointed at Hua Mancheng and, with a stern face, shouted to his subordinates, "Men! Seize this troublemaker who's causing a disturbance in the street!"
"Wait!" Before the words were finished, Feng Jin's voice followed closely behind: "I didn't expect that this young lady would learn to lie at such a young age."
Feng Jin walked straight through the crowd and finally stopped in front of Mu Wange, saying something that was neither too serious nor too light, leaving Mu Wange momentarily bewildered.
Her appearance sparked a flurry of discussion among those present. Everyone felt that this young man, who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, dared to argue with Princess Yunqi; he was truly a newborn calf unafraid of tigers.
Standing in the center of the crowd, Feng Jin stood tall and straight, looking directly at Mu Wange with a smile on her face.
She turned around and winked mysteriously at Hua Mancheng, "Hey! Little Hua, didn't I tell you to come out and buy groceries? Why are you still slacking off here? Wait till I get back, I'll teach you a lesson!"
"Little Flower..." Hua Mancheng turned his head to look at Feng Jin, revealing an extremely complicated expression. His lips twitched uncontrollably a few times, and after a long while, he managed to reply with a "Oh".
As Feng Jin finished speaking, Mu Wange, the Grand Secretary, and all his subordinates fell silent. Everyone seemed to be pondering whether the tomboyish person was telling the truth or not when she called herself "the Princess Consort."
Currently, there are only three princes in Kyoto: Prince Jing, Mu Beichen; Prince Regent, Mu Feiyu; and Prince Xuan, Mu Zixuan. Surely their judgment wouldn't be that bad?
At this moment, the streets were still bustling with activity, filled with the sounds of people and horses. The Grand Secretary sized up Feng Jin and Hua Mancheng, then suddenly his face hardened, and he sternly ordered his subordinates, "What are you all standing there for? Arrest these two people right now!"
"Stop!" Just as those people were about to surround Hua Mancheng and Feng Jin, a group of men dressed in black walked straight towards the crowd, following the direction from which the powerful voice came.
Everyone turned their heads and looked behind them in unison. When they saw that the people who came were from the Prince Jing's Mansion, the jeers and commotion immediately stopped.
Xiao Mohan walked to Feng Jin's side and bowed, then shouted to the Grand Secretary and his subordinates with a livid face, "This is the Princess Consort of Prince Jing. Why aren't you all bowing to her?"
Over the years, Xiao Mohan has followed Mu Beichen almost everywhere. Anyone who is an official in the court can meet him every day, and as the Grand Secretary, he is no exception.
Especially when he heard Xiao Mohan address Feng Jin as Princess Consort of Jing, his legs went weak and he almost collapsed to the ground. He had only been in the capital for a few days, and if he were to make an enemy of the Jing Prince's Mansion from now on, his future days would certainly not be easy.
"Princess Jing, please forgive my blindness," the Grand Secretary said, kneeling and kowtowing before Feng Jin.
Only after hearing Feng Jin declare that he was willing to settle the matter did he get up and hurriedly leave the scene with his men.
Mu Wange glanced at Feng Jin, who was smugly standing in the crowd, and a hint of disdain flashed in her eyes. So, she was the silly princess who had been married into the Jing family not long ago? Just you wait and see. If you dare to offend this princess, you'll regret it in the future.
Thinking of this, she pulled on the reins again, whipped the horse, and galloped away.
