Chapter Fifty: Subduing People with Force

"You ungrateful bastard, just you wait!" Feng Jin stared longingly at the receding figure, then stomped her foot in anger, kicking a stone away with her leg.

Just as I was about to leave, a heart-wrenching scream suddenly rang out from not far away.

Following the sound, she finally found Su Yu in a nearby garden, where she was covering her head with her hands and screaming. She couldn't help but cover her mouth and cry out in surprise.

"Your Highness...you haven't left yet?"

Startled and embarrassed to be caught eavesdropping, Su Yu quickly straightened her clothes and stood up, giving an awkward chuckle: "Actually... I was just a little curious, I really didn't mean anything by it!"

Feng Jin rested her chin on her hand thoughtfully, staring intently at Su Yu without blinking. She didn't reply for a long time, her face calm, but her eyes suddenly became unusually sharp, making Su Yu feel uneasy with every glance.

After a long silence, Su Yu suddenly slapped his forehead and exclaimed, "Oh right, I just remembered something that urgently needs to be dealt with. How about we talk about it another day?" As soon as he finished speaking, without waiting for Feng Jin to reply, he ran off in the opposite direction.

After the heavy snowfall, it's time for the winter solstice.

On this day, nothing happened in the court, and all the officials rested at home and awaited orders. Ever since the Duke of Zhenguo, following Mu Beichen's instructions, handed over all the treasures of Qianyuan Palace to the court, his prestige and status as the emperor's brother-in-law had become even more prominent in the court, like the North Star. Even though Mu Feiyu suffered in silence, he still had to show him respect.

It was precisely because of this that the people of the Duke of Zhenguo's mansion grew closer to Mu Beichen. Even at the Jing Prince's family banquet, the Duke of Zhenguo and Mu Wange attended. The people gathered in the main hall were almost all of Mu Beichen and Feng Jin's closest relatives and friends. The hall was packed, and the tables were laden with fine wines and delicacies. The walls of the hall gleamed with gold and silver, and jewels shone brightly, creating an exceptionally lively and luxurious scene.

"Brother Mu, why are you only arriving now?"

Everyone is waiting for you.

Feng Jin sat beside Hua Mancheng. From a distance, she saw Mu Wange clinging to half of Mu Beichen's body as they walked over. In particular, that sickeningly sweet "Brother Mu" made her furious.

"Wait a minute!" Feng Jin barged in and blocked their way, her face dark as she said, "Princess Yunqi, haven't you heard of the saying 'Men and women should not touch each other'? Please let him go!"

Everyone's gaze fell on them. Anyone present could tell that their words were full of hostility. Mu Shengyue was so anxious that he almost stood up, fearing that his unruly daughter would get into a fight with someone.

"Why should I listen to you?" Mu Wange glanced at Feng Jin, whose face was full of anger, and sneered: "How many days have you actually spent in the Prince's mansion? Brother Mu and I have been together every day since we were little. We used to play in the mud together all the time! Do you think that by putting on airs like the mistress of the house, I will be wary of you?"

“Princess, let’s not talk about the past…” Mu Beichen had only said half of his sentence when he met Feng Jin’s fierce and menacing face, which looked like she was about to devour him. He was so frightened that he quickly swallowed the rest of his words.

The reason Mu Wange is always so arrogant is simply because she relies on her status as a member of the royal family. Now she actually dares to try to steal her boyfriend. That's absolutely impossible!

Glaring at Mu Wange, secretly rubbing her hands together in anticipation, she suddenly didn't want to say any more nonsense.

"Mu Wange, I've really put up with you for a long time! You've crossed my bottom line time and time again. Do you really think I, Feng Jin, am someone you can mess with?" Feng Jin said through gritted teeth, confronting Mu Wange head-on, as if a blinding glint of cold light flashed between them.

Everyone stood up from their seats and went to watch Mu Wange and Feng Jin.

"Hmph! Do you think I'm afraid of you?" Mu Wange sneered disdainfully, "Words are useless, let's settle this with fists and feet, let's decide the winner with a single throw!"

Seeing his daughter become the focus of everyone's attention, Mu Shengyue immediately lost his temper and rushed over to persuade her, "Wange, don't be ridiculous. We are guests of the Jing Prince's Mansion. Are you deliberately embarrassing your father by being so unreasonable?"

"Father, don't interfere. This is a war between the two of us women." Mu Wange was already blinded by hatred and could not listen to any advice. She was only thinking about teaching Feng Jin a lesson.

Seeing that Mu Beichen was about to speak up to dissuade her, Feng Jin immediately glared at him and shouted angrily, "Shut up!"

The words Mu Beichen was about to say were instantly forced to stay in his throat.

Honestly, he never imagined that one day he would be so afraid of women, especially his own woman.

Feng Jin and Mu Wange glared at each other, then leaped over the wall and quickly left the mansion. They flew straight to the end of the alley along a winding path. Mu Beichen and Hua Mancheng, fearing that the two women might cause a death, followed closely behind.

Feng Jin and Mu Wange each held a sword and a whip, their weapons held horizontally in front of them. Feng Jin's pretty face was ashen, and her eyes were filled with murderous intent: "Mu Wange, so what if you are a noble lady? You dare to touch my man, today is your death day!"

Mu Wange looked at Feng Jin, who was filled with anger, and smiled contemptuously: "So you also know that others can't touch what you love. Then why do you, as a married woman, still flirt with other men all day long?"

Upon hearing this, Feng Jin was immediately stunned. Could it be that she was only doing this because of Hua Mancheng...?

Just as she was thinking this, she saw Mu Wan's long whip already swinging towards her. She quickly gathered her thoughts and used her sword to block the deadly attack. As the whip and sword clashed through the air, a whistling wind rose around her, accompanied by the clanging of the weapons colliding violently.
