Chapter Ninety-One: The Uninvited Guest

On a clear, sunny morning in early spring, the sky was bright and the sun was shining.

On the flawless white jade tiles, crimson spider lilies slowly bloomed, and Feng Jin sat in the center of one of the boats, her petite figure taking up only a small portion of the flower's stamen.

The soft morning light fell on her face, making her fair skin glow. Her dark, bright pupils clearly reflected the bustling place before her.

People simultaneously carried a row of flower boats overhead and walked forward in an orderly fashion until they reached the end of the red carpet. There, she was greeted by a man in a magnificent robe and golden crown. Through the gaps in the swaying beaded curtain, she locked onto his exceptionally handsome face and smiled slightly.

Su Yu straightened up and stared intently at the woman who was drifting towards him. His eyes flickered slightly, and a smile spread across his handsome face. Just the sight of that half-hidden, half-revealed beauty excited him. To him, such a woman was an unparalleled existence in the world.

He strode forward, reached out and helped her up from the flower boat. Su Yu raised his eyes slightly, looked at her with deep affection, and said softly, "Ah Jin, are you really willing to marry me?"

"I do not agree to this marriage!" Just then, a loud, thunderous voice suddenly rang out in the room, forcing Feng Jin to choke on the words she was about to say.

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone turned to look. There stood a tall, slender man in black on the red carpet. His sharp gaze fell directly on Feng Jin and Su Yu behind them. His exquisite face was as cold as ice, exuding an imposing aura that sent chills down one's spine.

Feng Jin and Su Yu turned around simultaneously. At that moment, when they clearly saw the person standing opposite them, they unconsciously covered their mouths and fell silent.

What surprised them most was not the man's domineering demeanor, but... his amputated arm, which was extremely incongruous with his appearance.

Feng Jin stared intently at that unfamiliar face, momentarily lost in thought. That gaze evoked an indescribable feeling, a surge of emotion welling up within her. Just that one glance caused a strange, dull ache in her heart, and she even felt an irresistible urge to cry.

Upon seeing this unexpected situation, everyone immediately fell silent, and the wedding venue was completely quiet.

After a long while, Su Yu suddenly exclaimed, "Mu Beichen! What do you want to do?" He quickly stepped forward and shielded Feng Jin behind him.

Mu Beichen didn't even look at Su Yu. He just stared at the woman so close to him. His dark eyes gradually widened, turning from surprise to excitement. Finally, tears welled up in his eyes and streamed down his cheeks. He almost wanted to burst into tears.

Below that bottomless abyss, witnessing so many rocks tumbling down and crashing down on her, he always thought that Feng Jin was gone forever. Every time he thought of that scene, his heart bled. Every extra moment he lived was to atone for his sins.

His gaze locked onto her face as he walked up to her step by step, Mu Beichen trying hard to suppress the surging emotions in his chest, but his voice trembled violently.

"Ah Jin, you're really still alive!"

As Mu Beichen drew closer, Feng Jin's expression suddenly changed, as if she had seen a demon. She leaped off the flower boat.

"Your Highness, who is he?" She hid behind Su Yu, trembling with fear.
