Chapter 1 The Woman Who Wants to Win the Heart of a Rich Man

Sai Baozhen paused, then smiled softly: "Can't you turn it down? This kind of party is boring."

"It's my welcome party, I can't turn it down." Yan Zheng shook his head slightly.

"What a pity! I was hoping to have dinner with you." Sai Baozhen shrugged.

"Maybe there's a chance." Yan Zheng picked up the coffee and took a sip, his voice indifferent.

Sai Baozhen was unhappy. In the past month, the two of them had met less than once.

Yan Zheng works in R&D and often works overtime, while I work in interior decoration and am often too busy to rest.

If they continue like this, it's unclear when they can get married. As a woman, I can afford to wait, but Yan Zheng is a man, and he's getting older, so I don't know if he can have children.

The atmosphere fell silent. Yan Zheng could clearly sense Sai Baozhen's dissatisfaction, but he had no choice. It was definitely unacceptable for him not to attend the dinner party held for him.

There was the sound of keyboard tapping nearby.

Sai Baozhen became inexplicably irritated and glanced at the woman coldly. The woman was completely unaware and continued typing on the keyboard.

"Ma'am, please enjoy your lemonade!" The staff placed the glass on the table.

Sai Baozhen stirred it with a straw, and just as she was about to talk about something else, the phone in her bag rang.

She took out her cell phone, gestured to Yan Zheng, and walked outside.

About ten minutes later, Sai Baozhen came back with a gloomy face, and her expression eased slightly when she saw Yan Zheng.

"What happened?" Yan Zheng was startled by her expression.

Sai Baozhen frowned and said in a deep voice, "There's a problem with the renovation. The owner is making a fuss at the company. I have to go back and deal with it."

"Then you go ahead and get busy." Yan Zheng nodded.

Sai Baozhen didn't say anything else and hurried away with her briefcase.

Yan Zheng finished the rest of his black coffee and stood up to go to the bar to pay the bill.

Sang Tianen finished turning the last page, took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and quickly constructed a mind map in his mind, sorting out all the content he had just read.

Two minutes later she opened her eyes again and put the book "How to Win the Heart of a Rich Man" into her bag.

She is currently writing a book about online fraud, and these are materials that need to be referred to.

She took out her cell phone and checked the time, only to find it was already past four o'clock.

Sure enough, when people's attention is highly concentrated, they will forget the existence of time.

She smiled, pulled her membership card from the compartment of her bag, and went to pay. She had to rush off to a department dinner to welcome the new department head.

In fact, the new minister has been in office for three days. Sang Tianen took annual leave due to family matters, so the two have not met yet.

The clerk quickly deducted the fee, and Sang Tianen took the card and pushed the door open.

As soon as she stepped out of the door, she was dazzled by the light. She raised her hand to cover her eyes, and then she stopped moving.

Her eyes fell on a man not far away who was wearing black trousers and a navy blue shirt.

The man was tall and handsome, with a half-burned cigarette between his slender fingers, half leaning on the body of a black car.

From time to time, petals from the tree full of pink flowers fell on his shoulders, but he was unaware of it. He just frowned slightly and smoked with a lonely look on his face.
