Sang Tianen quickly finished flipping through the photos, then drove Yan Zheng out and packed up and cleaned the house by himself.
When she finally finished packing her things, the doorbell rang outside the gate. Yan Zheng looked at the surveillance camera and found that it was the furniture deliveryman, so he opened the door.
The masters arranged the desks, bookshelves and boss chairs according to Yan Zheng's requirements. Sang Tianen took out some mineral water from the refrigerator and gave it to them, and then started a new round of cleaning.
She wiped all the new items, then went upstairs to move a computer down, installed it, and finally opened the window to ventilate.
Yan Zheng felt sorry for her as she was busying around. He unscrewed a bottle of mineral water and handed it to her, saying, "Don't bother. Just do it casually."
Sang Tianen tilted his head back and gulped down half a bottle of water, panting slightly as he asked, "How is it? Are you satisfied with this study?"
Yan Zheng looked around. At first, Sang Tianen wanted to vacate the guest bedroom for him, but he didn't like too much space.
He likes a small study with furniture in warm colors.
If the space was too big, he would feel cold, but the size of this storage room just met his requirements.
He smiled and nodded, his eyes sparkling, and said sincerely, "I like it very much."
Sang Tianen's tired body was instantly relieved. She touched Yan Zheng's head and said softly, "These woods smell a bit. Don't use them for now. Let them air out for a few days. I'll have someone check them later. Once they're all clear, you can use them."
Yan Zheng leaned over and hugged her waist, looking up slightly and said, "You're exaggerating. It's just a table and a few bookshelves. If you keep acting like this, I'm afraid both children will be spoiled by you in the future."
“宠?”桑天恩意外地挑了一下眉毛,“你觉得我这个脾气会宠孩子吗?不揍人,我都觉得自己已经是母爱泛滥了。”
Yan Zheng chuckled, his eyes curved, "I believe you will be a good mother."
"I can't bear the words 'good mother'." Sang Tianen smiled noncommittally, "Being a mother is not an easy thing. There is a lot of knowledge involved."
Yan Zheng's finger tapped her thin lips lightly: "You really don't want to say anything nice. Do you know that you suffer because of your mouth?"
"I don't think I'm at a disadvantage. Anyway, I've never lost an argument with anyone." Sang Tianen pulled down his arm, stood up straight and said, "Let's not discuss the child for now, let's talk about the engagement first."
As he said that, he took Yan Zheng's hand and walked out of the small room. He pushed him down on the sofa and sat down next to him.
"Call your parents first and see what their requirements are for the engagement party." Sang Tianen said seriously.
Yan Zheng picked up the phone on the coffee table and called his father. The call rang for a long time before it was picked up.
"Hey, Xiao Zheng!"
Hearing his father's familiar voice, Yan Zheng suddenly felt nervous for some reason. His hand unconsciously touched his belly and he whispered, "Dad."
"What's wrong? You sound unhappy? Did you have a fight with Xiao Sang?" Yan's father immediately sensed that something was wrong with him and asked repeatedly.
Yan Zheng glanced at Sang Tianen, who was listening intently, and replied, "No, I didn't quarrel with Xiaoen."
Yan's father breathed a sigh of relief and said, "That's good. By the way, when are you going to bring Xiao Sang home for dinner? Last time, your mother had something urgent to do at the hospital and she didn't see the child. When you have time, bring Xiao Sang home for your mother to see, so that she won't have to nag you all the time."
"Dad, have you forgotten about dinner next week?" Yan Zheng reminded.
Father Yan slapped his forehead and laughed awkwardly twice: "Oh, how could I forget about this? I've been too busy at the hospital lately and my brain is not enough."
"You didn't tell your mother about this, did you?" Yan Zheng asked worriedly.
"I've said it, I've said it." Yan's father said quickly, "Your mother is smarter than me. Don't worry, she won't forget it."
After Yan Zheng exchanged pleasantries with his father, he began to speak tentatively: "Dad, Xiao En and I want to hold the wedding banquet soon."
"Oh, that's good news." Yan's father said in surprise, but then asked suspiciously, "Didn't we agree to hold the wedding banquet at the end of the year? Why did you suddenly change it? Are you pregnant?"
The old ones are still the wisest. Yan Zheng's cheeks flushed as his father exposed his thoughts. "Yeah."
Yan's father immediately became unhappy and began to scold him: "Xiao Zheng, I don't want to criticize you, but how could you be so careless to get pregnant before marriage? If Xiao Sang turns out to be a bad person, you won't have anywhere to cry."
Although he knew that he would definitely be scolded by his father, Yan Zheng still felt aggrieved when he heard these harsh words. He had obviously been very careful.
"Dad, can you please stop scolding me?" he muttered softly.
Hearing his son's aggrieved voice, Yan's father sighed helplessly and said, "Does Xiao Sang know about this?"
"I know. She was the one who accompanied me to the hospital." Yan Zheng replied.
Yan's father felt a little relieved: "How old is the child?"
"Six weeks." Yan Zheng replied honestly, then added quietly, "It's twins."
Yan's father's head exploded immediately, and his voice suddenly became higher: "What? Twins?"
"Um."
Yan's father said ecstatically, "Oh, this is a great event. I have to tell your mother about it."
Yan Zheng looked a little confused. When his father heard that he was pregnant, he seemed very unhappy, but when he heard that it was twins, his attitude immediately changed.
Is there any difference between one child and two children? Aren't they all his and Sang Tianen's children?
"Xiao Zheng, your mother is out playing chess. I'll discuss the wedding banquet with her when she comes back. Your pregnancy will be showing in a month or so, so we really need to hurry up."
"Xiao En said that we should get married first. Are there any customs in our hometown that we need to pay attention to?" Yan Zheng asked.
"Customs? There aren't any customs, except that we have to visit the woman's family to check on their situation."
"Oh, then discuss a time with mom and tell me when the time comes."
Hearing his son's cheerful voice, Yan's father felt mixed emotions. Although he was happy that his son was pregnant with twins, he couldn't help but worry.
For a man giving birth is like walking through the gates of hell. As a reproductive doctor, he naturally knows the suffering and pain involved.
Yan Zheng is his only child. Because he was born prematurely, he has been weak since childhood. Now that he is pregnant with two, he doesn’t know if he can handle it.
