Thinking of this, Sang Tianen really wanted to send a message to Yan Zheng, but he stopped as soon as his fingertips touched the screen.
If Yan Zheng didn't know about this, wouldn't she be causing him trouble by doing this? Adding to his mental burden?
After thinking it over, Sang Tianen decided not to ask about this matter. Instead, he made an appointment for marriage registration online. He had to marry this man home as soon as possible to prevent some messy people from spreading rumors and causing trouble.
She looked at the available dates. Since there were no special days in the near future, there were not too many people making appointments and there were many time points to choose from.
Sang Tianen returned to the Paper Plane chat interface and sent a message to Yan Zheng: "Baby, I'm making an appointment to register for marriage. What day do you want to go to get the certificate?"
Yan Zheng was stunned when he saw this message, and replied to Sang Tianen: "But we are not engaged yet, this is against the rules."
"We'll make up for that later. Let's get the certificate first. Don't you want to marry me quickly?"
Yan Zheng bit his lip, opened the perpetual calendar, and found that tomorrow was an auspicious day: "Is tomorrow okay?"
After receiving Yan Zheng's instructions, Sang Tianen directly chose the time of 8:30 tomorrow morning. This was a good idea as it would not delay his work and he did not have to wait for anyone.
"We've made an appointment. The first couple will be at 8:30 tomorrow morning!" Sang Tianen had a relaxed smile on his face.
Yan Zheng also raised the corner of his mouth: "Okay."
"Did I also place the order directly for those clothes?" Sang Tianen continued to ask.
The smile on Yan Zheng's lips gradually widened: "Okay."
Sang Tianen reopened the shopping app, cleared the men's clothing that he had previously added to the shopping cart with one click, and then sat back in his office chair to take a nap.
After working overtime in the evening, the rain gradually got heavier. Sang Tianen took out a folding umbrella from her bag and opened it. The heavy rain hit her black umbrella, making crackling sounds.
She walked towards her car slowly. As soon as she got in, her cell phone suddenly rang. The caller ID showed that it was Yan Zheng.
She wiped her wet shoulders with a tissue while answering the phone: "What's wrong?"
"My car broke down." Yan Zheng's slightly aggrieved voice came from the phone, "It keeps stalling and won't start no matter what I do."
"Where are you now?" Sang Tianen frowned when he heard that.
"In the company's open-air parking lot." Yan Zheng whispered, "Have you left?"
"No, you stay over there, I'll come pick you up." Sang Tianen said as he reopened the car door, opened the umbrella and walked into the rain.
Under the dim light of the street lights, Sang Tianen finally found Yan Zheng's car in a corner. She knocked on the car window, and soon there was movement inside. Yan Zheng opened the car door and walked out.
"What's going on?" Sang Tianen raised her voice slightly and gripped the umbrella handle tightly, fearing that the strong wind would blow her umbrella away.
"I don't know." Yan Zheng almost shrank in her arms, his face a little pale.
Sang Tianen hugged him and said, "Take my car back first. It's raining too hard now and we can't see the car."
Yan Zheng looked at the pouring rain and the car in the dark night and nodded.
Sang Tianen half-hugged him and walked quickly towards her car. Afraid that Yan Zheng would get wet in the rain, she held the umbrella almost completely over his head.
Even so, when they returned to the car, Yan Zheng's shirt was still half wet, and Sang Tianen was even worse, his whole body looked like it had been soaked in water.
Yan Zheng quickly took out a tissue to wipe her. Sang Tianen pushed him away and took off his shirt, revealing the gray vest underneath.
"Don't bother. It's useless to wipe it. The most important thing for us now is to go home and take a hot shower." Sang Tianen started the car and turned the air conditioner to warm air.
As soon as he finished speaking, Yan Zheng sneezed, and Sang Tianen's face instantly turned ugly. She took out a tissue and leaned over to wipe the rain off his body.
Yan Zheng sniffed and said, "I can do it myself, you drive."
Sang Tianen pulled the seat belt over and fastened it for him, then stepped on the accelerator and the car drove out quickly.
After they left, a white car parked in the parking space opposite lit up its headlights and drove away.
After arriving home, Yan Zheng went straight to the second floor, took his clothes and went to take a shower. Sang Tianen also went to the bathroom on the first floor to take a shower.
When she came out in her slippers, Yan Zheng handed her a bowl of steaming ginger water and said, "Drink it while it's hot."
Seeing his wet hair, Sang Tianen knew at first glance that he had just showered in a hurry and then came out to make ginger water for her. He felt warm in his heart and said, "I'm fine. I've only had a few colds since I was a child. Dry your hair first."
"I'm fine. There are three of you now. It will be troublesome if you catch a cold." Yan Zheng said with a wrinkled nose.
Sang Tianen unconsciously looked at her stomach and drank a bowl of ginger water. Seeing that she drank it, Yan Zheng also felt relieved and poured himself a bowl and drank it.
The next morning, Sang Tianen opened his sleepy eyes and reached around as usual, only to find that Yan Zheng was gone.
She glanced at the digital clock, which showed seven forty. Alarm bells rang in her heart, and she subconsciously threw off the quilt and got up. As soon as she stood up, she felt dizzy and fell back onto the bed.
She held her forehead, her temples were throbbing violently, her throat felt like it was being cut with a rusty saw, and her body was limp and she had no strength at all.
She had a cold, no doubt about it.
Yesterday I was still swearing that I would not catch a cold, but today I became like this. The speed at which I was slapped in the face is comparable to the speed of a rocket taking off.
After resting for half a minute, Sang Tianen changed his clothes listlessly and dragged his heavy body down to the second floor.
She found a mask in the second bedroom and put it on. The cold medicine had expired, so she threw it into the trash can.
Then she said to the man busy in the kitchen, "Yan Zheng, are you done? Just buy breakfast on the way. We're almost late."
"Okay, okay." Yan Zheng came out of the kitchen, holding two prepared sandwiches and said to Sang Tianen with a smile on his face, "Look what I made..."
Before he could finish his words, the smile on his face froze. He widened his eyes and asked, "What's wrong with you? Why are you wearing a mask?"
Sang Tianen had a severe headache and said perfunctorily, "I have a cold. Go change your shoes first."
"Is it serious? I'll go find some medicine for you." Yan Zheng threw the sandwich in his hand on the table and went to the second bedroom.
Sang Tianen grabbed his arm and said, "The cold medicine is expired. Buy some more on the way."
Yan Zheng suddenly seemed to remember something, and his expression turned very ugly: "You are pregnant now, you can't take medicine casually."
"Then drink some boiled water. I'm fine. Let's go quickly, or you'll be late." Sang Tianen urged.
