Chapter 191 Where to Get Married

"I was brought up in a very strict family and I hate third parties who ruin other people's relationships. Although I was insulted by this stranger's words, I still felt deep sympathy for him. I felt that he had been deceived by his female colleague and that was why he did this."

"So I went to question this female colleague, but she said something that really surprised me."

"It turned out that this man was not her boyfriend, but a blind date that her family had introduced her to. The two of them had eaten three meals together, but she declined because she felt that his personality was not suitable."

"But the man was unwilling to end it and continued to pretend to be her boyfriend, even sending similar messages to every male account that the female colleague followed."

"I'm just one of the unlucky ones."

Having said that, Yan Zheng's eyes swept calmly over the shocked crowd: "Believe me, I don't need to tell you, everyone knows who this man is."

Xiao Qian's face turned pale, and his legs went limp, so he had to be supported by the security guard.

The corners of Yan Zheng's mouth curled up, and a barely perceptible hint of sarcasm flashed in his eyes, but his voice remained gentle, like a modest gentleman: "Xiao Qian, we are all men. Don't you feel guilty about slandering me like this?"

Xiao Qian glared at him fiercely and spat, "You vixen, shameless bastard, you only know how to seduce women!"

As she said this, she struggled again, trying to scratch Yan Zheng's face.

Yan Zheng took two steps back, his eyes grew darker, and he waved to the security guard.

Xiao Qian was carried out of the door by several tall and strong security guards. Just as everyone was dispersing like birds and beasts, Xiao Qian suddenly opened his eyes wide and shouted: "You are lying, Yan Zheng, you bitch, you are lying! I didn't even..."

Before he could finish his words, the security guard covered his mouth and dragged him down the stairs.

The office curtains were half-drawn, and Yan Zheng's face was covered in shadow. His expression remained calm, as if he was not the one who had just been slandered and humiliated.

Sang Tianen glanced at Yan Zheng. Yan Zheng seemed to feel her gaze and turned his head. Under the thin layer of shadow, he showed a quiet and gentle smile.

Sang Tianen was stunned for a moment, then returned to his usual composure and left with Shi Zhou and the others.

Back at her workstation, Sang Tianen tilted her head back and began reading the Encyclopedia of Diet and Nutrition for Pregnant Women. Before she could finish a few lines, Yan Zheng suddenly sent her a message:

"Is there anything you want to ask?"

Sang Tianen raised his eyebrows in surprise, put one hand behind his head, and tapped the screen of his phone with one hand: "What do you want to ask?"

Yan Zheng: "What happened just now."

Sang Tianen: "There's nothing to ask. Instead of wasting time asking these questions, why not discuss the marriage?"

Yan Zheng: "Didn't you say before that a classmate had a great wedding and you were planning to look for that wedding company?"

Sang Tianen: "I asked for their contact information, and they gave me a few options. I think they are all good, but I can't make up my mind for the moment. I don't have any requirements for the wedding, as long as the groom is there."

Yan Zheng chuckled at what he said, his eyebrows curved: "This request is indeed not high."

Sang Tianen continued typing: "What kind of wedding do you want? Their family also hosts engagement banquets, so I plan to have them host it together."

Yan Zheng paused typing, blinked, and thought for a few seconds before saying, "Something warm, simple, and romantic, preferably outdoors."

Sang Tianen grinned: "How about we go to Shendao? Last time I wanted to take you to a small island near Shendao, but we didn't make it. It was such a pity. I really want to go there again if I have the chance."

Seeing Sang Tianen mention the Divine Island, Yan Zheng's face instantly turned ugly: "No!"

Sang Tianen was puzzled: "Why? That's where we got engaged, and I still reminisce about it."

Yan Zheng's cheeks flushed slightly. Although they were already an old couple with children, he couldn't help showing his youthful shyness when he thought of that day.

He bit his lip and continued to send messages: "Can you be serious and stop talking nonsense?"

Sang Tianen knew he was shy and smiled smugly: "I'm quite serious. Aren't I discussing serious matters with you? Let's go to Shendao, okay? I quite like the scenery there."

Yan Zheng pursed his lips and said, "I don't want to do it there, let's change the place."

Sang Tianen suddenly thought of the jail time that had left her speechless: "Is it because of that incident?"

Yan Zheng: "Well, when I mention this place, I think of that week of fear. How about not going?"

Sang Tianen smiled: "Okay, listen to the baby."

Yan Zheng: "Why don't we do it in Zhaoyang City? Both of our relatives are here. If we go out of town, it will be inconvenient for relatives to come and go, especially the elderly and children. It will be very troublesome."

Sang Tianen thought what he said made sense: "Really? I was just thinking about the island scenery and forgot about this. Let's do it in Zhaoyang City."

Yan Zheng: "I've been looking at bridal shops these days and have chosen a few. Would you like to go with me to have a look someday?"

Sang Tianen: "No problem, after your parents come to my house to see the door, we will make an appointment to go and see it. We have to take the wedding photos quickly. I have a lot of things to do recently, so I'm sorry to trouble you, baby."
