Chapter 205 Breakup

Yan Zheng opened his eyes wide in confusion, and obediently let her hold him, his hand gently stroking her back, now and then, as if he was coaxing a baby to sleep.

Sang Tianen's eyelids trembled, then he opened them. He tilted his head slightly and whispered in his ear, "Do you treat me like a child?"

Yan Zheng felt a tingling sensation in his ear bones, and he moved aside a little, humming softly, "Well, I treat you like a child."

Sang Tianen laughed, and his tone became frivolous: "Then Brother Yan must love me well, love me, and not bully me."

Seeing that she was getting too aggressive, Yan Zheng gently twisted the soft flesh around her waist and asked angrily, "What's wrong with you?"

The smile on Sang Tianen's face froze, and he turned around and said nonchalantly, "Nothing."

"Nothing, you're just asking for comfort here." Yan Zheng didn't believe what she said, "Tell the truth!"

Sang Tianen did not answer him immediately, but stared at him with his eyes slightly lowered, his black pupils glowing with a faint light, like two clusters of dim candlelight, with an indescribable darkness and obscurity.

Yan Zheng panicked for no reason. He put his hands on Sang Tianen's arm and asked, "What happened?"

Sang Tianen's eyes moved, and he suddenly asked with an unclear expression: "If one day I have no money, will you still be with me?"

Yan Zheng was stunned, not understanding why she suddenly asked such a question. They were not together because of money in the first place.

Out of comfort, he put his arms around Sang Tianen's neck and said gently, "I'm not with you because of money."

Sang Tianen raised one eyebrow and signaled him to continue with his eyes.

Yan Zheng's finger moved to the tip of her nose and gently tapped it: "I was just attracted by your beauty, so you don't have to feel any sense of crisis. Even if I have no money in the future, I will support you."

"Wouldn't that put a lot of pressure on you?" Sang Tianen continued, "After a while you'll definitely think I'm a useless woman."

"How could that be?" Yan Zheng's soft eyes lit up with a smile. "You stay at home and take good care of the baby, and I go out to earn money. We each do our part, so how can it be useless?"

"Besides..." Yan Zheng's tone changed, and his deliberately lowered voice, accompanied by hot breath, came out from his beautiful rose-like lips, "How could I not know whether you are useful or not?"

Sang Tianen's eyes widened in an instant, and then he said as if he was laughing out of anger: "Are you not being honest again?" There was a hint of gritted teeth in his voice.

Yan Zheng looked away guiltily and changed the subject: "I'm hungry. I was too nervous at noon and didn't eat much." As he said that, he was about to get up.

Sang Tianen didn't intend to let him go. He wanted to run away after setting the fire. How could such a thing be so easy in the world? She pinched Yan Zheng's chin with one hand, narrowed her eyes and said, "I'm getting angry now. What do you think I should do?"

Yan Zheng's eyes widened, and he looked a little panicked: "You are pregnant now, don't do this."

Seeing his cowardly look, Sang Tianen let go of his hand and said unhappily, "Don't fire machine guns at the calm lake. I have a very hot temper."

Yan Zheng immediately stuck to him again and said flatteringly, "I knew you were the best to me." He pecked Sang Tianen with his soft lips.

Sang Tianen felt helpless, pulled down his entangled arm and warned: "Can you be a little more honest, kid?"

"I'm trying to cheer you up." Yan Zheng blinked his beautiful eyes, a smile on his face, warm and a little proud, "Are you in a better mood now?"

Sang Tianen looked at him speechlessly. Yan Zheng thought she was still worried and was about to lean over to kiss her again. Sang Tianen finally couldn't help laughing. Half compromising and half helpless, she hugged the man and said with a smile: "I'm really scared of you. Can't you try some other tricks?"

"It's not about the number of tricks, the key is that they are useful." Yan Zheng said proudly.

Sang Tianen really felt a little tired, and coaxed the man: "Didn't you say you were hungry? I went downstairs to find you something to eat?"

"I'll go with you." Yan Zheng said with a smile.

Sang Tianen kissed his forehead and said gently, "Okay!"

The two of them walked down the stairs talking and laughing. As soon as they reached the last step, Sang Tianen's face fell.

Father Sang stood up when he heard the sound. He changed his wet shirt into a black short-sleeved shirt and mumbled, "Are you awake?"

Sang Tianen said, "Dad, is there anything to eat at home? Yan Zheng is hungry."

"Yes, yes, yes." Father Sang said excitedly, "Whatever my son-in-law wants to eat, I will make it."

It wasn't mealtime, and Yan Zheng didn't want anyone to cook for him, so he politely said, "Thank you, uncle. No need to bother. I'll just eat this."

As he spoke, he picked up a washed peach on the table. This was specially prepared by Sang's father and mother to entertain the future in-laws.

Seeing that he was no longer needed, Father Sang sat back with his back straight, his hands placed stiffly on his legs, a forced smile on his lips: "Are you full after eating this?"

"That's enough." Yan Zheng replied.

Sang Tianen was silent for a moment, then looked at his father and said, "Sang Muyang should have told you what happened just now."

Sang Muyang sensitively noticed that Sang Tianen addressed him differently than before, and his tone was as if he was treating a stranger, and he felt a vague sense of unease in his heart.

Father Sang nodded and asked hesitantly, "Daughter, where did you get so much money?"

"Don't worry about that." Sang Tianen's tone was calm. "This week I will sort out the details of all the money you have given me over the years and the interest. I will print it out and give it to you. The money will be transferred to the accounts in your name and Mom's name, half for each of you."

"Whether you give it to my aunt or to Sang Muyang as a dowry, I won't care anymore."

Yan Zheng paused in chewing the peach and looked at Sang Tianen, who was in an unusually calm mood.

Father Sang opened his eyes wide in surprise: "Why?"

"I'm tired and don't want to care about it anymore." Sang Tianen said slowly.

The tone was very calm, as if he was saying that the weather was nice today, but to the people present it was like a thunderclap.

Especially Sang Muyang, he originally thought that Sang Tianen was just saying some words to comfort him, but he didn't expect that he would actually do this.

After a few seconds of strange silence, Father Sang spoke first, "But the money has always been with you."

"You will keep it yourselves from now on."

Father Sang was panicked. Even though this was a great thing for him, he didn't know why he suddenly felt very anxious. His heart seemed empty and lost.

"But you know about financial management, but your mother and I don't. It's safe to keep the money with you..."

"Dad." Sang Tianen interrupted his father, who was talking incoherently. Looking at his old and helpless father, a glimmer of light flashed in his eyes, and he murmured, "Isn't this what you have always wanted?"
