After leaving the university town, Sang Tianen went straight to the supermarket. She had run out of toilet paper and laundry detergent at home, so she needed to buy some daily necessities.
When she walked into the green plant area, Sang Tianen was attracted by the rows of succulents with different shapes. She bent down and stretched out her hand, gently touching the flesh with her fingertips. The slightly cool touch made a smile appear in her eyes.
After seeing the price, which wasn't expensive, I decisively grabbed a pot and pushed the shopping cart forward.
As I was walking, I suddenly heard a loud "bang", like the sound of something collapsing, followed by the crying of children and the quarreling of adults in front of me.
Sang Tianen raised his eyes and looked over, and saw a middle-aged man arguing with a young couple. The ground was full of fallen cans of beer, some of which even leaked a light yellow liquid. A lot of people gathered around to watch the fun.
"Don't talk nonsense. It was obviously you who didn't stand firmly. Why blame my son?"
"If your son hadn't suddenly come running over, would I have been so scared that I fell on the beer?"
"It's not normal for children to run around and make noise. You saw the beer piled here and still walked so close. It's clearly your own fault."
Sang Tianen frowned and turned the shopping cart, intending to take another route to the delicatessen area. Just as he turned his toes, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a familiar figure among the crowd.
After thinking for a moment, she pushed the shopping cart forward again.
Yan Zheng was wiping the beer off his body. When the beer mountain collapsed, he was looking down at the discounted toothpaste and didn't notice that something suddenly fell from behind him.
Fortunately, there were no serious consequences. I just fell and my body was a little soaked by the beer.
"Sir, are you okay?" The supermarket staff looked at him guiltily, "Are you hurt?"
Yan Zheng gave him a comforting smile and said softly, "I'm fine."
The staff breathed a sigh of relief and looked at the three people who were arguing fiercely. They were overwhelmed and didn't know what to do.
"Yan Zheng, how are you?" As soon as Sang Tianen walked in, he found that Yan Zheng's back was wet, and even a large area of his light gray suit pants was wet. His whole body exuded a slightly bitter smell of beer.
Yan Zheng paused in wiping his clothes, raised his head, and a trace of surprise flashed in his eyes: "Why are you here?"
"I came here to buy something." Sang Tianen explained. In fact, she didn't come to this supermarket often. She would only buy something when she went to Chaoyang University.
Yan Zheng was a little embarrassed. He had just confessed his feelings to Sang Tianen yesterday, and now he saw her again in such a state. It was really embarrassing.
"Do you want to change your clothes? Your pants..." Sang Tianen pointed at his pants hesitantly, after all, the position was quite embarrassing.
Yan Zheng subconsciously covered his back, his face flushed the color of liver, and he didn't dare to look at Sang Tianen, stammering, "Okay, okay."
The two came to the clothing area on the second floor. Yan Zheng picked up a shirt and a pair of pants at random and walked into the dressing room.
Sang Tianen looked at the rows of clothes around him and found a pretty pink short-sleeved shirt with a cute little bear printed on it. So he asked the staff for a size S and planned to give it to Sang Muyang.
When Yan Zheng came out, Sang Tianen was looking down at the message from her second uncle. When she heard the noise, she immediately put away her phone and asked, "Is it done?"
Yan Zheng nodded, and Sang Tianen took out a bank card and said to the salesperson, "Let's pay together."
"How can this be?" Yan Zheng stopped her hand. They were just ordinary colleagues now, so how could he ask her to pay?
Sang Tianen smiled and said, "I'm not inviting you for nothing. I want to consult you about something." Then he handed the card to the salesperson.
The salesperson looked at Yan Zheng for a while, then at Sang Tianen, and finally said with a smile: "Hey handsome guy, your girlfriend is so generous, just accept it."
Yan Zheng's cheeks turned red when he was told that, and Sang Tianen coughed uncomfortably. After being reminded by the other party, she remembered that Yan Zheng had confessed his love to her yesterday. She was so confused by Sang Muyang's anger that she actually forgot about it.
She glanced at Yan Zheng, who was lowering his head, feeling a little guilty, and then felt that her behavior was very funny and made a big deal out of it.
The bill was settled quickly, and the salesperson stuffed Yan Zheng's dirty clothes into a plastic bag, handed it to the two of them, and said, "Welcome to visit us next time!"
The two of them pushed the shopping cart downstairs. Yan Zheng walked beside her and asked, "What's going on?"
Sang Tianen paused, thought for a moment, and said, "Suppose you have a brother who has always been good-tempered, but suddenly becomes very rebellious. He will argue with you no matter what you say, and he is also very careless with his money. What do you think is the reason?"
"Have you communicated with him?"
"Communication..." Bullshit, Sang Tianen didn't say the last two words. Sang Muyang has blocked her now, so there is no point in communicating.
"Are you trying to say 'communication is bullshit'?" Yan Zheng blinked and chuckled, "If I were your brother, I would definitely not be happy if you spoke to me like that."
"Do you think it's my attitude?" Sang Tianen turned his head and looked at him. "I think there's nothing wrong with my attitude. I've always treated him this way since I was a child."
"This is your biggest problem," Yan Zheng said seriously, "Everyone has self-esteem. If you keep treating him badly, he's definitely going to be unbearable after a while."
"I'm not a bad person," Sang Tianen explained. "I only scold him when he makes a mistake."
"What you consider a mistake may be perfectly normal in your brother's eyes. Have you ever thought about this?"
Sang Tianen was stunned: "I really haven't thought about this."
Yan Zheng smiled faintly: "Young people today are different from us back then. They have many ideas of their own. We should learn to respect them."
"Why do you speak so old-fashionedly, like you're in your seventies or eighties?" Sang Tianen said with a smile, "How about you help me communicate with my brother? I have no idea how to communicate with him right now."
"When you encounter a problem, you should solve it instead of avoiding it." Yan Zheng rolled his eyes at her and pushed the shopping cart towards the prepared food area.
"Asking you to help me communicate is also one of the ways to solve the problem. How can you say that I am running away?" Sang Tianen followed him.
"You're just being opportunistic, and I don't even know your brother." Yan Zheng picked up a bottle of shampoo and looked at it. "Your brother may not be willing to communicate with me."
Sang Tianen also picked up a bottle of conditioner and looked at it, and said casually: "I'll introduce it to you, then you two will know each other."
Yan Zheng paused, put the shampoo back to its original place, and asked nonchalantly, "Then how are you going to introduce me to your brother?"
Sang Tianen was concentrating on looking at the ingredient list of the conditioner. When he heard Yan Zheng's words, he suddenly turned his head to look at him.
