Chapter 42 The Speed of Light Travel

Sang Tianen always felt that something was wrong, but she couldn't tell what was wrong, so she simply stopped thinking about it. Now that the person had been safely sent home, it was time for her to go about her business.

"Well, you should go home and rest early. I'll go home first." She said seriously, but she still felt awkward in her heart about suddenly having a boyfriend.

Yan Zheng gave a faint but very gentle smile: "Drive carefully." His tone was like a househusband who told his wife to drive carefully.

"Yeah." This sentence made Sang Tianen feel inexplicably warm. She responded casually and got into the car.

After Sang Tianen left, Yan Zheng raised his head and enjoyed the cool night breeze comfortably, feeling in an unusually good mood.

He really didn't expect that Sang Tianen would take the initiative to ask him out for dinner and a movie. No matter how he hinted before, the other party was as indifferent as a piece of wood.

At first he thought Sang Tianen was teasing him and playing with him on purpose, but after today he realized that she was just an idiot with zero emotional experience.

If she didn't reveal the truth, she really wouldn't understand.

Such a good thing must be shared with someone. With a smile on his face, Yan Zheng took out his mobile phone from his pocket and sent a message to Nantian: Xiaotian, I'm no longer single.

The phone received Nantian’s reply almost immediately: “???”

A smile spread across Yan Zheng's nose. He originally wanted to type something, but ended up sending a voice message instead: "I have a girlfriend."

Nantian also replied with a voice message: "Didn't you tell me this morning that you were going to Shendao to retire?? You already have a girlfriend this afternoon? Where are your morals? Where is your conscience? Where is your humanity? The speed of light walking is not as fast as the speed of your love life, right?"

Yan Zheng ignored his resentment, pressed the lock screen button, and walked briskly towards home.

Sang Tianen was still speeding on the black asphalt road, his mind full of how to deal with Sang Muyang's matter.

She is not a sociable person and sometimes she cannot control her temper. She has used up almost all her patience on her younger brother.

She made up her mind that she would bring Sang Muyang home no matter what when she went to Anye this time, and there would be no quarrel.

It was already half past ten when they arrived at the club. Because it was a membership-only club, Sang Tianen borrowed Zhou Feiyu's name. After the front desk called to confirm, they readily opened a small private room for her.

"Miss, if you have any needs, you can just press the red button on the table and our staff will come over immediately." The guy who brought her to the box said, pointing to a red button on the table.

Sang Tianen was not here to spend money, she just wanted to find a quiet place to talk to her brother. She sat casually on the sofa and waved to the brother.

The young man was very professional. He immediately came over with a smile on his face, leaned over and asked politely, "What can I do for you?"

"I want to ask you something. Do you have a part-time waiter named Sang Muyang here?" Sang Tianen asked straight to the point.

The young man shook his head and smiled, "Sorry, I'm not sure."

"Who knows about this?" Sang Tianen didn't believe him. She had just glanced at the man's name tag and saw that he was a foreman. Sang Muyang was on duty today, so how could he not know?

"I'm afraid only the manager knows." The young man blinked, "But he's on leave today and isn't here."

Sang Tianen sneered and didn't want to beat around the bush with this man, so he said directly: "Call Sang Muyang over and tell him that his sister is waiting for him in Box 4."

The young man's smile froze, revealing a look of surprise. The next second, he returned to his original friendly appearance and said in a slightly deep voice, "Please wait a moment!"

Ten minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Sang Tianen said, "Come in." The heavy wooden door was opened and Sang Muyang, wearing a white shirt and a black vest, walked in.

He lowered his head, twisted his hands, and moved his feet with great difficulty. Sang Tianen stared at him, pursed his thin lips, and his eyes were dark and unclear.

The box fell into a strange confrontation. The two siblings, one with his head down and the other with a gloomy face, did not speak.

In the end, it was Sang Tianen who compromised first and asked, "How long have you been doing this?"

Sang Muyang paused for a few seconds and stammered, "Half, more than half a month."

"Can you handle attending classes during the day and working part-time at night?" He spoke in a calm tone, as if he was really chatting with his younger brother.

Sang Muyang's eyelids twitched twice, and he whispered, "Not bad."

"Did you dye your hair for work?" Sang Tianen frowned and looked at his head of white hair, looking like a second-rate guy.

"The manager said my hairstyle was too tacky and asked me to dye it to make it look better." Sang Muyang knew that his sister didn't like his hairstyle, so he spoke carefully.

“How much do you make a day?”

"three hundred."

"How many days a week?"

"Four days."

Sang Tianen suddenly became angry and was about to curse when a voice suddenly sounded in his mind: You have to calm down, men need to be coaxed.

"Are you so short of money?" The voice was unsettling.

Sang Muyang didn't answer, but his silence spoke for itself. Sang Tianen didn't want to ask why. If his brother wanted to, he would have already said it.

Now she just wanted to make sure that Sang Muyang hadn't gone astray and hadn't been hurt. If he was just spending money lavishly, she would accept it.

"Yangyang." She sighed and said in a tone that could be called sincere, "Tell me the truth, have you ever done anything wrong? Are you really only doing this part-time job because you don't have enough money?"
