Chapter 6 Someone Like Her

"I, why am I here?" Yan Zheng said hesitantly.

"You should be glad that you are here." Sang Tianen glanced at him and thought that his expression was similar to that of a frustrated groom on TV.

When I woke up, I hugged the quilt and asked in panic: What did you do to me?

Yan Zheng was unaware of Sang Tianen's inner complaints. He lowered his eyes and quickly thought about what happened last night, forcing himself to recall.

He went to the department's welcome party, during which Vice President Liu kept forcing him to drink, and his subordinates also came to toast him one after another.

Finally, he couldn't bear it any longer and made an excuse to go to the bathroom. In the cubicle, he sent a message to his friend Nantian, but the reply he received was that he was attending a seminar abroad and couldn't come to pick him up.

He sent a message to Sai Baozhen again, but she was also busy, so he had to call a male driver through the app.

After returning from the restroom, there was another round of toasts. After finally making it to the end of the party, he was waiting for a designated driver on the roadside, but Vice President Liu came up to him and insisted on taking him home.

He was anxious and helpless, and his mind gradually became unclear...

"Who is that boy last night to you?" Yan Zheng asked in a deep voice after he finished recalling the past, "Did you ask him to help me out?"

Sang Tianen glanced at him sideways, half answering, half explaining, "He's my brother. I originally asked him to take you to the hotel, but I don't know why he sent you to me."

Yan Zheng frowned and whispered, "Thank you."

Sang Tianen hummed very impolitely and took another sip of tea: "There are new toiletries in the bathroom, and there is a bowl of honey water on the table."

Today, Sang Tianen wore a Zen tea suit, which consisted of a light blue slanted-front buttoned cotton and linen jacket with a silver ornament hanging on the button, and a lotus-colored long skirt on the lower body.

Her hair was braided into two pigtails, and a few pearl hairpins were dotted on it, making her look very literary and fresh.

The sun shone on her fair face, her features delicate and picturesque, her slender fingers turning the pages of a book, and beside her was a teacup emitting white mist...

The words 'leisurely years, pure and distant' suddenly appeared in Yan Zheng's mind. He blinked, and his breathing seemed to become smoother along with the light smoke.

Sang Tianen felt that the surroundings were too quiet, as if he was the only one there, so he turned his head to look over.

This sudden movement startled Yan Zheng, who was slightly distracted. He hurriedly looked away, his heart beating uncontrollably, feeling guilty and embarrassed.

The panicked look made Sang Tianen raise her eyebrows in surprise. Suddenly, she became interested and smiled softly at Yan Zheng, her voice soft and slow: "Does it look good?"

These words were spoken in an ambiguous way, so ambiguous that Yan Zheng didn't dare to look at Sang Tianen's face. He could almost imagine what kind of expression the other party had in mind when he said this.

Half-raised eyebrows, eyes moving, a half-smile... every look can make an ordinary man blush and heartbeat.

Yan Zheng clutched the thin blanket tightly, suppressing the throbbing in his heart with strong willpower. After a while, he raised his head and said, "Thank you very much for what you did last night."

He was really serious. Sang Tianen sighed inwardly, then put away his frivolous expression and said calmly, "It's just something that happened to me."

Yan Zheng gritted his teeth and climbed up from the floor. His body was still a little weak. His eyes swept across the bowl of light yellow honey water and his expression paused.

Sang Tianen felt a little tired, so he stood up and walked to the wall of books, and put the book he had just finished reading on the psychology bookshelf.

Yan Zheng subconsciously glanced at the book in her hand. It still had a large orange cover with a white center, but this time the words "How to Make a Man Spend One Million on Me in Three Sentences" were printed in large letters in the middle.

The corners of his mouth twitched, and the vague goodwill in his heart dissipated. Being a programmer is just someone's side job, and his main job is to hang out with rich people.

He rubbed his aching shoulders and began to look around the house.

The house is a duplex, and the overall decoration is in a very natural wood style. The place where the TV wall was originally supposed to be has been decorated into a book wall with various books on it.

It seems that living off a gigolo is not an easy thing, Yan Zheng sighed inwardly.

"Do you need me to take you to the bathroom?" Sang Tianen glanced at him with a polite and serious tone.

Yan Zheng nodded. He originally wanted to leave immediately, but considering that people have urgent needs, he decided to go to the toilet and wash his face before going home.

The bathroom is not far away, just a dozen steps away.

"Call me if you need anything." Sang Tianen took the person to the bathroom and left.

Yan Zheng closed the door and subconsciously wanted to lock it, but he felt it was not appropriate. If the other person wanted to do something to him, he would have done it last night. Why wait until now?

He walked to the sink and his hand touched the stainless steel faucet. After thinking for a moment, he turned around and locked the door. When he heard a click, he felt a little relieved.

With his hands on the edge of the washbasin, he saw a pale face reflected in the mirror. His eyelids were a little swollen, blue stubble had appeared, and his short black hair was messy and sticking up.

Both sloppy and decadent.

Yan Zheng frowned, turned on the faucet, and scooped up the cold water to splash on his face.

His cheeks froze in the cold, and transparent drops of water slid down his white jade-like face to his Adam's apple, about to drip.

Not too old yet. He twitched the corners of his mouth and shifted his gaze to the neatly arranged toothbrushes and toothpastes...

A few minutes later, Yan Zheng came out of the bathroom. Sang Tianen was cutting watermelon. Seeing him coming out, he casually asked, "Do you want some watermelon?"

Yan Zheng raised his calm eyes and looked at her: "Thank you, I have to leave now."

Sang Tianen smiled and said, "Goodbye."

Yan Zheng nodded, opened the door and left.

As soon as Yan Zheng left, Sang Tianen immediately threw away the fruit knife and ran to the place where Yan Zheng had slept with his eyes wide open. He threw back the bedding and pillows, lay on the carpet and looked around. After confirming that there was no vomit, he breathed a sigh of relief.

She had used this carpet for several years and had always taken good care of it, but she didn't want to ruin it out of a momentary kindness.

When you use something for a long time, you become attached to it.

She took off the quilt cover and pillowcases and threw them into the washing machine to wash, then took the quilt and pillows to the balcony to dry in the sun. The smell of alcohol on them was unbearable for her.

After doing all this, she lay on the sofa, her hands behind her head, staring at the ceiling.

After a few seconds, she jumped up as if she had been electrocuted and walked quickly to the bathroom. Seeing that there were no water stains on the floor and the edge of the toilet, she leaned against the door frame and breathed a sigh of relief.

Then he chuckled again, feeling like a lunatic.

No man would be able to tolerate someone like her. She has a weird personality, a sharp tongue, and is a mysophobia. Apart from being good-looking and able to make money, there is really nothing else that stands out about her.

She lowered her eyes and sighed softly, becoming even more determined not to find a boyfriend.

After being stunned for a while, she walked to the sink to clean up the mess. As soon as she raised her hands, she saw that her neatly arranged toothbrush and toothpaste were still lying quietly on the countertop.

She sneered. This guy is really...
