Chapter 72: No Talent for Writing Novels

The last three words were almost touching Yan Zheng's earlobe. The hot breath, which seemed intentional and unintentional, stirred up a layer of fine bumps on his skin, and his earlobe felt as hot as if it was on fire.

Yan Zheng suddenly pushed Sang Tianen away, his watery eyes glaring at her fiercely: "Don't scream like that!"

Actually calling him Brother Yan... No one has ever called him that before...

Looking at Yan Zheng's frustrated look, Sang Tianen felt secretly happy. As the saying goes, things change over time. Thinking back to the time when Yan Zheng teased her, her heart would beat fast. But since she studied hard and practiced in seclusion, the person who would make her heart beat fast has become Yan Zheng.

As expected, knowledge is power, and learning changes destiny. We must establish the concept of lifelong learning.

Sang Tianen decided to continue teasing him. He leaned over and blinked innocently at Yan Zheng, saying, "You were angry with me just now because of this. You wanted me to call you Brother Yan, but you didn't say so earlier. It's not worth it to sulk over there and get yourself hurt by it."

Having said this, she paused deliberately, raised her voice slightly and said, "Am I right, Brother Yan?" She dragged out the last syllable, as if for deliberate emphasis.

Yan Zheng was stunned by her shamelessness and stared at her blankly. When had he ever asked her to call him Brother Yan? How could this person lie so openly? How could she make something up out of nothing?

"What nonsense are you talking about? When did I ever let you scream... scream..." Yan Zheng was too embarrassed to say those three words. His face turned red and he stammered.

Sang Tianen looked at him with a smile on his face and asked in an extremely seductive voice, "What's your name?"

Yan Zheng bit his lip and stared at Sang Tianen. Seeing the obvious mischief in the other's eyes, he was so angry that his teeth were itching, but he was powerless to do anything. Shameless people always live an easier life than those who have dignity.

However, his eyes narrowed slightly, and he suddenly reached out and grabbed Sang Tianen's collar and pulled her over. In the moment when she was stunned, he gave her a passionate and deep kiss.

After he finished, he panted slightly and asked, "If you want to call me that, it's not impossible."

Sang Tianen got the upper hand and was in a very good mood. She stopped teasing Yan Zheng, lest she piss him off and make things difficult for her. She straightened her messed-up clothes, restarted the engine, and drove Yan Zheng home.

After sending the person back, Sang Tianen did not stay outside, but drove directly back home.

It was a bit hard to find an outdoor parking space on Saturday night. Sang Tianen didn't like parking in the underground garage because the smell inside made her feel uncomfortable. A resident happened to be leaving, so she waited there for a few minutes and then parked her car in.

As soon as she got off the car, she was wrapped in the thick humidity in the air. The night wind was swaying the trees wildly, and the fallen leaves were rustling on the ground. Sang Tianen tightened the shoulder bag on her shoulder and walked quickly towards the building.

At this time, a person walked towards her from the opposite side, wearing a white dust mask, a work suit, and a huge backpack on his back, walking hurriedly.

When the other person's eyes met Sang Tianen's face, he was stunned for a moment, then his eyes dodged and hurriedly looked away. He quickly pulled his mask with his fingers, lowered his head and passed by her.

Sang Tianen paused slightly. The person just now looked a little familiar. He looked a bit like the staff of the housekeeping company who helped her clean before. Both the figure, hairstyle and clothing were very similar.

What made her feel strange was that this man seemed to be afraid of her seeing his face. Both times they met, he would nervously pull at his mask, fearing that she would recognize him.

Sang Tianen began to search his memory, but after thinking for a long time, he still couldn't remember knowing this person, and his relatives and friends had never heard of anyone doing housework.

Maybe there was something on his face that he was afraid of being seen, or maybe he had social phobia and didn't want others to see it. This made sense, but Sang Tianen felt that he was overthinking it and quickened his pace.

As she was walking, raindrops as big as beans suddenly fell from the sky and hit her face. She quickly held her bag tightly, covered her face with her hands and ran.

When she got home, her clothes were only slightly damp. After taking a quick shower, she went to the study and started her typing work for the day.

First, she opened the novel website and took a look at the reading volume of her new book. The data was still terrible. She slid the mouse button and clicked on the book circle. The comments were even more dismal.

A few days ago, there were dozens of people scolding her, but these days, the number of people scolding her is only in the single digits. It seems that she really has no talent for writing novels.

Sang Tianen glanced at the comment section with some disappointment, and suddenly found that a book friend with the online name "Would you dare to agree if I called you an idiot?" had left a long comment for her.

It was undoubtedly a curse, but the wording was very refined, obviously from a cultured person. I glanced at the time and saw that it was sent at around 1:00 a.m.

What a guy! Why doesn’t he just curse during the day? He has to stay up late at night to curse. What if he gets himself hurt?

Sang Tianen sighed helplessly, opened the document and started typing. More than an hour later, she uploaded the revised ending. After it showed that it had passed the review, she suddenly found that there was one more book review, and it was from the same reader as before.

"I was really speechless after reading this book. Author, are you sure you wrote this novel in a stable mental state?"

"Living in the apocalypse, instead of thinking about how to survive or improve my superpowers, I just think about growing vegetables all day. The only time I managed to knock out the whole audience was when the villain pulled out the vegetables the heroine had planted."

"Okay, so it's okay to just love growing vegetables. Who doesn't have a hobby these days? Just when the heroine was about to be killed by the villainous boss, a group of aliens suddenly appeared from the sky and killed everyone. Author, are you sure you're okay?"
