A man's heart is like a needle in the sea.
She smiled helplessly: "Minister Yan, it's not a good thing to imagine too much."
Seeing her clear eyes without any panic or guilt, Yan Zheng thought for a moment and said, "I'm sorry, I'm a man, I hope you can understand my feelings."
Sang Tianen nodded: "I understand."
After saying that, he gestured at the bowl of instant noodles with his eyes: "If you don't eat it now, it will become mushy."
Yan Zheng's eyes suddenly widened and he quickly pulled out the plastic fork, but it was too late. The noodles, which had absorbed so much soup and looked thick and strong, had already stuck together, leaving him with no appetite.
Sang Tianen looked at his expression and raised the corners of his mouth in schadenfreude.
You deserve it. You judge others by your own standards and this is your retribution. You will end up with nothing.
She walked to the kettle and filled the hot pot with hot and cold water respectively, then covered it with a lid and placed it on the table, waiting for her lunch.
Yan Zheng looked at the instant noodles with an annoyed expression for a while and decided to throw it away. He would rather starve than eat mushy noodles.
He walked to the trash can, stepped on the pedal, and was about to throw the instant noodles in when he heard Sang Tianen's slightly strange voice behind him: "What are you doing?"
"It's mushy and can't be eaten." Yan Zheng explained.
"It's not poisonous, why can't we eat it?" Sang Tianen walked over and leaned over to look at the instant noodles. "It looks okay."
"I don't like eating mushy noodles." Yan Zheng pursed his lips slightly with a childlike stubborn look.
Sang Tianen found it fresh and interesting that Yan Zheng, who was so graceful, mature and elegant, would actually show such an expression.
"What are you going to eat for lunch if you throw it away?" She teased, blinking her bright eyes. "I guess the only thing left in the cafeteria now is white rice."
Yan Zheng frowned as he looked at the instant noodles in his hand and whispered, "I'll order takeout."
"It's not easy to shout when it's raining so heavily." Sang Tianen glanced out the window. The emerald green trees were swaying wildly, and the rain seemed to be poured down from the sky.
"Then I won't eat it." Yan Zheng stepped on the pedal under the trash can and threw the instant noodles in.
"Man is iron and rice is steel. If you don't eat for a meal, you will feel hungry. How can you not eat?" Sang Tianen strongly disapproved of Yan Zheng's self-destructive behavior.
Yan Zheng turned his head and looked at her, his eyes a little dark: "You seem to be very free?"
"It's just a small talk." Sang Tianen smiled lightly, looking innocent. "Minister Yan, you won't be angry about this, right?"
Yan Zheng thought this pretty boy had a good mouth and said with a faint smile, "Of course not."
"That's good." Sang Tianen nodded. "Do you want some hot pot? I have plenty."
Yan Zheng did not answer her immediately, but stared at her with his beautiful eyes, which were deep and complex.
"What's wrong?" Sang Tianen felt a little puzzled. Is there something dirty on her face?
"Don't do these things again in the future." Yan Zheng said slowly, his voice low and hoarse, "I'm just an ordinary person."
