Chapter 80 Childish

The three of them started chatting, and Sang Tianen learned from her senior sister that the B&B she opened was on a small island near Shendao, and was expanded from her grandparents' old house.

In the past, this small island was just a poor and backward fishing village. Later, due to the development of Shendao, it became a popular tourist attraction. During the peak tourist season, there was no place to sleep, let alone hotels, and even pig pens were not available.

This time her homestay was already fully booked, and the place where Sang Tianen stayed was the room she prepared for her two children. What she meant was that I am 100% sincere to you, and you must remember how good I have been to you.

Sang Tianen nodded repeatedly and patted her chest, saying that she would provide food and accommodation for their family when they travel to Zhaoyang City in the future. Only then did the senior sister smile with satisfaction.

Forty minutes later they arrived at the dock. The senior sister drove the van directly onto the ferry, locked the car, patted Sang Tianen on the shoulder, and took the two of them to the deck to watch the sea.

The weather today is generally good, with bright sunshine and not too strong sea breeze. Some unknown seabirds fly across the sky from time to time. The three of them stand comfortably on the deck, enjoying the breeze.

Sang Tianen bent down, clasped his hands together and placed them on the fence, and began to chat with his senior sister: "Hey, senior sister, your B&B can make at least a few million a year, right?"

The senior sister waved her hands repeatedly, with an expression that said, "You don't know my hardships, you silly girl, are you making fun of me? If I could make millions a year, would I really need to drive a van that's full of noise except for the horn?"

Sang Tianen was amused by her exaggerated tone and said with a raised eyebrow: "Don't rush to deny it, I'm not borrowing money from you."

"You want to borrow from me? I don't have it either." The senior sister rolled her eyes at her and said unhappily.

More and more tourists were on the deck, and many of them started taking pictures with their phones. Sang Tianen also took out his phone and threw it to his senior sister, saying, "Take two pictures for me."

The senior sister took a lot of photos for the two of them. Sang Tianen took back his phone happily, but when he saw the photos, the smile on his face froze instantly.

These photos are either too blurry or the angles are so breathtaking that none of them are pleasing to the eye. This must be the legendary straight woman's angle.

Yan Zheng lowered his head and swiped through her phone, selecting a few photos and sending them to his own phone with satisfaction. He then smiled at her and said, "It seems that you two do have some personal grudges."

At this time, a deep whistle suddenly sounded. Sang Tianen turned around and lay on the fence. The sea breeze blew her clothes. In the distance, there was a vast expanse of white. The clouds were pressed very low, as if they were about to fall into the deep sea at any time. The surrounding sea water surged under the drive of the hull.

Yan Zheng stood beside her, looking at the vastness in the distance, and suddenly said, "There has always been a saying in the scientific community that humans actually evolved from marine life."

Sang Tianen showed a look of surprise, and after a pause, he said in a teasing tone: "I didn't expect Minister Yan to have some knowledge of biology."

Yan Zheng ignored her teasing and continued, "Not really, I'm just a little curious about where humans came from."

"There have always been three major questions in philosophy: Who am I, where do I come from, and where am I going? They are somewhat similar to your current thoughts." Sang Tianen turned around and leaned against the railing.

Yan Zheng blinked his clear eyes and said, "I didn't expect that Team Leader Sang is also interested in philosophy." He returned the same joke to her.

Sang Tianen was stunned, and her teeth suddenly started to itch. She had always known that her boyfriend was not a gentle and kind person. Although he seemed gentle, he was actually a rose with thorns.

She originally wanted to show off her skills and say some vague things to make the man admire her, but who would have thought that the other party would follow her example and outwit her, leaving her with no idea what to do.

She put her hands on her hips and her eyes were wide open. Yan Zheng was amused by her childish expression. He quickly walked up to her, pulled her hand and said, "Why are you like a child?" His tone was full of helplessness and doting.

Sang Tianen put his hand down, rolled his eyes at Yan Zheng and said, "Do you know how to fall in love? At this moment, you should just go along with what I'm saying, let me show off, satisfy my shallow vanity. Do you understand the routine?"

Yan Zheng stroked her back and smoothed her fur: "Yes, yes, it's all my fault. I can't speak."

"I'm glad to know." Sang Tianen raised his chin and snorted.

Looking at the two of them being so affectionate, the senior sister who had been enjoying the dog food beside them revealed an indescribable expression and said, "I'm saying, can you two tone it down a bit? I'm getting goosebumps. Especially you, Sang Tianen, who's still saying 'humph'. Are you a kid?"

Sang Tianen did not respond to her but gently pushed Yan Zheng away, walked to his senior sister, grabbed her arm and looked at her carefully.

"What are you doing?" The senior sister was confused by her sudden action. "What are you looking at?"

"Goose bumps." Sang Tianen said casually, and then he moved aside as soon as he finished speaking.

The senior sister reacted, pointed her finger at her, and angrily scolded: "Are you childish?" Then she suddenly walked over quickly and raised her foot to kick her.

The two of them were like elementary school kids. They cursed at each other for a while, then got together to chat. After chatting for a while, they turned against each other and started arguing with each other again. After going back and forth several times, the ferry finally arrived at the dock.

Yan Zheng, who was watching the whole process, felt deeply helpless. The two women, who were almost sixty years old in total, were bickering like kindergarten kids. If possible, he wanted to pretend that he didn't know them.

The whistle sounded again, and several people went down the stairs and returned to the van. After waiting for more than ten minutes, they finally arrived at the senior sister’s hometown - Maca Island.

"Don't think that our Shuaiyu Island is not as famous as Shen Island and its location is remote. The scenery is no worse than Shen Island, the seafood is cheaper, and the people are simple..." The senior sister drove the car while talking incessantly about her hometown.

Sang Tianen interrupted her and said, "Isn't this island called Maka Island? When did it become called Shuaiyu Island?"

"You don't understand that," the senior sister said rather complacently. "That's the official name. We local islanders don't recognize it. Do you know a strange book called 'A Thousand Islands Travelogue'?"

Sang Tianen nodded. This book is a very important ancient work about islands. A page of history book was used to introduce it. Because it was written so long ago, no one knew when it was written. They only knew that it was written by a man named Tagu.

As the name suggests, "A Thousand Islands Travelogue" is a travelogue written by a person after visiting a thousand islands.

The book begins with the author's self-narration. Because her husband had a strange disease that could not be cured, she heard that there was an island on the sea that was full of magical herbs that could bring people back to life. So she sold her ancestral jade, left enough living expenses for her husband, and chartered a fishing boat to go out to sea to look for the magic medicine.
